I now have several things from Homedetail in the children’s rooms. We’ve bought 3 beds which are solid and have lasted several years.

Home detail will charge £95 for delivery and if you do not hear them knocking at the door and request a re-delivery this will be an additional £95 as they do not allow the outsourced delivery company to arrange re-delivery and the sofa has to be returned to them after one attempt, this isn’t really clear on their ts & cs as it states a charge ‘may apply’ but does not signify the amount. However, following this review the company did contact me and refund the delivery charge therefore I am grateful this has now been rectified.

Bought a gaming recliner chair 11 months ago. All was well in the beginning but the stitching on the padded section of the backrest has started falling apart. Despite the chair still being covered by the 1 year warranty Home Detail responded by saying this kind of damage can occur over time and they would only be willing to offer a £ 30 gesture of good will. Their terms and conditions state they have a liability to repair or replace damaged items if within the 1 year warranty and with proper care and maintenance they expect the product to last a long time. Clearly neither if these statements have turned out to be accurate. I have refused the gesture and will be taking my business elsewhere as the damage to the chair will in time render it unusable.

I have since been contacted by Home Detail and they have, after some reconsideration, agreed that an appropriate response would be to provide my son with a new chair.
Although originally very disappointed with the original offer of a small cash payment by way of a good faith gesture, I must congratulate Home Detail for getting back to me, without any prompting, to update me on their decision. This doesn't happen to often nowadays so all credit to them.

The delivery service was horrible. The delivery men had just decided the sofa can’t go in the house before even trying. I think they were subcontractors and it didn’t matter to them if they took the sofa back, they’d still get paid. In the end I insisted on them taking the sofa to the living room, only because I had a much bigger sofa in my living room from DFS. If I didn’t have the knowledge of the previous sofa then they would’ve definitely taken it back. They were rude, swearing in Polish. In the end the sofa went in easily, I would have tipped them had they done the same job with a smile. Would be good for Home Detail to never ever use these drivers to deliver their goods. Sofa is actually pretty decent, I would have give it at least 4 stars, but the delivery service ruined it. My order #113090, it’s upto the management to fire them and get in touch with me so I can change my review.

Purchased a sofa bed last year and once it was assembled was not happy with the quality. Reached out to Support team and they were eager to know why i want to return. After conversation, they reaffirmed their commitment on Quality and also talked about 1 year warranty, was skeptic still but kept the product with partial refund of 20% and thats were i made the mistake. To trust them and accept their word, as they committed for 1 year warranry. Not fast fwd to 8 months and sofa bed has frame which is hurting and cushions have crumbled. Again reached out to support but not ready to have a look and just doing conversations without outcomes. I wont recommend this company and product to anyone. and id you are not sure, stick to return and take that hit of shipping but dont rely on their commitment which they backtracks

I dismissed the negative reviews as people just being negative given the amount of positive reviews, but it turns out theres more truth in those reviews. I appreciate businesses are having difficult times but these people are morally bankrupt.
Spend your money elsewhere

I was shopping around for a cheap corner sofa just to fill a room in my house, the house being up for sale. In other words, I wasn't too bothered about quality as long as it looked reasonable. I paid the princely sum of £534 and waited for the cheap and nasty sofa to arrive. Except that, when it did arrive it wasn't cheap and nasty at all and is a very, very nice sofa for silly money. I was more than pleasantly surprised with the quality of the product. Would I use Home Detail again? Absolutely 100%. Well done! I am one very happy customer. Great delivery too.

My first time experience looking for a Navy sofa , looking at pricing as I've just moved in 5 weeks previous ...
I Found one where I thought it was coming direct from B&Q chasing up the delivery with the estimated time to see if I could get an exact date .Now HOME DETAIL are trying to charge me for 4 missed deliveries of £80 . . 1x€30,1x£10, £1x10, £1x£30 for a sofa I've never received their last email correspondence was DELIVERED . Just spoke to them now they will recover -£80 . My honest advise would be don't buy a sofa from B&Q -Home Detail ( company )

From ordering to delivery it was less than 4 days!! Customer service was very quick response to any questions that I had.
The delivery was super efficient. On time and I was called before to say that they were on the way… very nice people all round.
I highly recommend this company and the authenticity of their products and service

I was honestly on the fence after reading some reviews, after my delivery date being changed on the original delivery day, it came 2 days later. Really great, solid sofa, great quality. Great communication too! I would recommend to anybody.

What a beautiful sofa, after ordering from another company on FB that was cash on delivery and was awful when it was delivered at midnight - it was refused at the point of delivery. I was nervous at ordering what can only be described as cheap compared to the main sofa retailers. I should not have worried at all. I choose a white Cassidy corner sofa, it is prefect and was delivered 3 days after ordering despite the proximity to Christmas. Yes, it came in 2 large boxes and we had to assemble it but me and my 11 year old managed in about an hour. I honestly cannot recommend this company and my sofa enough, thank you Home Detail UK
