Ordered wine en primeur with Honest Grapes several months ago, to which they notified me of it now being ready(5 months earlier than estimate), to which I went to my online account, selected delivery to home address, and received confirmation that home delivery was being organised and received within 2 days. There was an automated system mix up but this was dealt with promptly and in a very friendly and professional way by several members of staff including Nathan's kind reply below.

Perfect communication and experience

Good selection of fine wines and easy to purchase online. Sadly let down by using a cheap courier service. Despite being home all day, we received a ‘sorry we missed you’ notice from the courier (no delivery was attempted at our house) and our wine was left at a grotty local shop 4 miles away for collection the next day. The box was a bit beaten up from handling. Very disappointing way to ship good wine costing £75 per bottle. I would have been happy to pay extra for proper shipping and delivery.

They’ll spam you with marketing emails, but a month later they still haven’t sent any shipment tracking info for my order. Don’t trust them with a holiday wine order.

There are many knowledgeable wine merchants out there. This lot are both knowledgeable and fun to deal with.

A brilliant company who delivers wine in several formats not just by the case that in larger bottles and single bottles. Delivery is always prompt and free as long as £75 is spent. The wines arrive in good condition and recommendations are excellent and wide ranging. Regular tastings organised by them at all price levels.
