Very good service no problems delivered when they said straight in the drive 10/10

The ordering and payment were straightforward, and the delivery was via hiab which was ideal.
However, the description lacked any information about gravel size.
There was no message about a delivery date, so it was fortunate I was at home when it arrived.

Price and quality were fantastic. Ideally could do with a way to book in a delivery online as part 1 of my order just turned up without any communication.

Absolutely superb service from Howarths (Grimsby) yet again. Best price by far (and I researched alot) and quality of products are always 1st class.

Very efficient and friendly delivery and dropped in a convenient location. I won't use anywhere else again.

I am still waiting for the order to be delivered. I have called and chased once and was told I would get a call back when delivery was confirmed. Still waiting with no call back or contact. I will cancel this comjng week if no progress made. Clearly "in stock" status listing on your website does not mean in stock at the local branch!
Update - the Howarth team saw my review and were in touch quickly with delivery following soon after. Looks like one of those things that can happen in industrial supply. I work in busineses where sometimes also go wrong so appreciate that the team addressed it when something does not go 100% to plan

Visited Doncaster branch just wanted timber for infill a fence that was decaying. Found some timber saw Shelley at reception who calculated cost which was too much. She asked what I wanted it for and found treated wood exactly what I wanted at 1/3 of price. Saw Kienan in the yard who kindly found the wood and put it in my car. A good experience all round thanks for going that extra mile. Geoff Ackroyd

I had a fantastic experience with Howarth and Timber when ordering my patio slabs. The whole process was completely seamless from start to finish.

On the day of delivery, they sent a text in the morning to let me know they were on their way, followed by a call to update me on how far away they were, which I really appreciated. The delivery driver was friendly, chatty, and incredibly polite. It made the whole experience feel very personal and professional.

The service was top quality, and the price was really competitive too. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone. A genuinely great experience all round!

In the past my experiences of using HT have been generally good. However this time not so much. I used 'click and collect' to order: I don't know what the name of this particular service is, but it's not click and collect - I phoned after a couple of days when I hadn't had notification my online order was ready, only to be told I needed to come in, collect a chit from the office, go to the yard, have my order prepared, load up my car, then return to the office with the chit. I wasted two days waiting before having to go through the usual purchase process anyway. I wish they'd said in the first place.

I hope I'm wrong about this part: my wife (female) went to complete the order because I couldn't anymore (reference the wasted 2 days), and she returned home with PSE wood that was damaged along one edge. The 2m lengths I'd ordered were also slightly short of this length by about 0.5mm, and there was a significant amount of cupping on one of the PSE lengths. This sort of thing has never happened when I've (male) been to the yard.

There is too much walking back and fourth. As a disabled person there is no consideration for us. The product was good at a good price.

Good price and product. Delivery first class. Would order from you again.

Reasonable price and they couldn't have been more helpful. They cut the wood to the length we needed.
