We visited the shop in Blackpool recently hoping to have a watch repaired. This proved not possible, because of the cost, but Laura took us through a process of choosing a new watch for roughly the same amount of money. We got what we wanted and went away happily.
So much so, that the following week we bought a beautiful tree of life necklace, once again with Laura's help

Karen at Blackpool store was exceptional - bought a Rotary watch online which stopped working. She replaced it searching numerous stores to find the same one and refunded on the price as it had ben reduced since I purchased. She was efficient, professional and went above and beyond to give me an outstanding service. Better than I could have expected!

Incredibly rude female Manager. Made it clear that she was only interested in the sale and not customer service. My watch should have a tag on it this incompetent manager has allegedly lost the tag. Useless. This was an expensive watch that came with the most appalling service. She would last two minutes in major city branch. First and last time. Oh and this "highly useless manager did not even know or could be bothered to find out for me how long the watch had been in stock, because it was on display. Would it have been impossible for her to have found out this information. I cannot imagine that the Blackpool store sells many expensive watches, but this manager does not seem to appreciate the business. Do you really want to buy a watch that has been handled by mutiple people and then sold as brand new, with most of the packaging missing ?
I would have bought this watch from Amazon but they did not have it in stock, but this is a prime example why people are voting with their feet and not using high street stores.

Really disappointed honestly.

My partner bought my engagement ring in September and proposed to me in December 2023. The ring was secure in the box during the time. The morning after the proposal (I did not sleep with it on), the ring had SNAPPED! We called H Samuel for advice and they said bring it in. Upon assessment, they confirmed it had snapped where the ring had been resized (my partner knew my size and they didn’t have the ring he chose in the right size so they offered to resize it). They sent off for repair and was told 3-4 weeks. We then got a call stating that the repair workshop was saying it was our fault the ring snapped and tried to charge £160 for the repair. After some back and forth, they agreed to waive the cost of the repair. I received my ring back in January 2024.

July 2024 - rhodium plating has started to come away. I do not sleep with the ring on and don’t wear it when washing my hands, showering, cleaning etc. I have researched how long rhodium plating can be expected to last and it seems to be anywhere from 18 months onwards so mine has started to wear away very prematurely. For a ring that is supposed to last a lifetime, this isn’t holding up too well. We had the replating done and received the ring back in August

October 2024 - put my ring on this morning and noticed a crack starting to form from inside of the ring. It is about a millimetre away from connecting on the other side and snapping clean again.

Both my engagement ring and wedding ring (forever diamond) have both needed repairs since purchasing. On this occasion i brought my wedding ring in to have 1 stone replaced & 1 that i managed to find re-fitted. It was sent away and quoted £1300 to repair!! Just 300 more and i could have bought the same ring brand new. We asked for the ring to be returned. We were then recommended to a local family jeweller who did all the work on site & also fixed and polished my engament ring on top, all for £230! . Over £1000 cheaper to fix both! . Dont know where these scam artists get their prices from, ill never be purchasing anything from here and will also never use the repair service. Absolute extortion . This review is in no way a reflection of the staff at the store but is directed at the repair services

Amazing customer service. Welcomed by staff and they were all very polite and helped with my needs. Would definitely recommend with all of your jewellery problems.

We went into your Blackpool branch yesterday 21/7/21, we were served by a lovely lady, she was so helpful nothing was too much trouble didn’t get her name but we are sure she will remember us though , we were Whats Apping pictures of the ring whilst in the shop . She is a credit to your company.

Samuel in Blackpool for a watch I ended up buying my self a nice watch I then also seen a decent watch which was a bit pricey the owner of the shop give me a massive discount so I could buy both watches from her that day I couldn’t ask for any better customer service than I received that day

My friend brought me a dress ring for friendship. The staff were very friendly and helpful in showing us a range of rings to choose from. And we found just the right one for our celebration.

Only had the bracelet 2 weeks and a stone fell out! The shop were very apologetic and said I could bring it back, but its a nuisance to have to go into town especially to do this. Also, i am not able to wear the bracelet now until it is repaired or replaced 😞

Very happy with the item and the service I received in store friendly staff happy to help will definitely be going back for more Disney items
