I have used ISC2 on two separate occasions to book two different training courses for two different clients, and both experiences were extremely poor.
The first time, we opted to pay via invoice. We were told their invoicing system was “broken” and had to wait weeks just to receive the invoice. When it finally arrived, the bank details provided were for a US bank account, which we were unable to transfer to. We had specifically asked for UK bank details and were reassured this would not be an issue — yet that is exactly what happened.
The second time, I booked a £1,400 training course through my personal account with the clear intention of allocating the training to my client. I spoke to multiple members of staff beforehand who assured me this would be possible. After purchasing, I discovered the training could not be allocated, and no one seems able to explain how to resolve this. I have been repeatedly told someone would call me back, but I have heard nothing.
The lack of communication, incorrect information, and overall customer service has been incredibly frustrating. Based on my experience, this deserves less than one star.

It has been 7 weeks since I put in a refund request but still no word for a "Professional CyberSecurity" company you would think their support would be good...
The certification content itself has value, but the pricing model is extremely disappointing. Exam fees are very high (over $700), and the requirement to repeatedly pay for renewals and maintenance every few years makes it feel excessive. Instead of supporting professionals, the process comes across as more focused on recurring revenue than long-term value.
Overall, the cost structure feels unreasonable for what is being offered.

The exam contains many trick questions and they are very different from the ones in the course quizzes. The online course for €184 that included the exam (with 2 tries) did not include a text version of all the modules covered in the course, which made it almost impossible to search for a particular information as some information was buried in the videos and other scattered in individual slides (a big mess). Upon exam completion you get a physical A4 sheet saying, "that you have provisionally passed the Certified in Cybersecurity (CC) examination" (or failed). This letter does not include any information on passing rate. After a few days ISC2 sends you an email saying: "Once your application has been submitted, your endorsement has been approved and you’ve paid your first AMF, you’ll become an ISC2 member and join a global community of cybersecurity professionals." Apparently, this certificate and yearly membership costs additional €50. The whole thing looks like a money racket. They claim to be industry standard but are not providing full text information for all course subscribers. Also, I have put some of the course questions in and AI app which gave me different answer than the ISC2 material. They are not transparent, and exam questions are vague.
Can't even log in to access a free course in cyber security. Its a scam! wasted 1 hour trying to sort out my candidate account and still unable to log in.
I am very disappointed with ISC2 Customer Service, they need to refund exam fee and kept me waiting almost two months. pwhite from CS team promising to refund the payment every week.
I failed to sign up right at the beginning. There is no button that takes you further after entering your credentials
I paid ISC2 for an exam on 10th May, but have been completely unable to schedule it because their booking system is broken. Despite repeated attempts to contact customer support, I’ve received no meaningful help—just vague responses blaming “technical issues.”
When I raised the concern that it’s unethical to keep accepting payments while the booking system doesn’t work, I was told, “It’s not unethical, it’s technical.” That’s not good enough. If you take people’s money, you have a duty to provide the service—or at the very least, inform them of the issue before
Very disappointed, and I would strongly advise others to avoid paying for any ISC2 exams until they fix their systems and become more transparent.
I ordered the wrong product. I was told I would get a refund, so I ordered the right one again afterwards. After a month, I still haven't received a refund. Be careful you will not get any refunds!!!
Very bad and lousy customer service. They would not return calls after many voice mails or even email.
After subscription for the free CC certification, they spam you many times a week, no "unsubscribe" link appears in their emails, the customer support can't do anything about that, postpone my account deletion again and again. Maybe it's legal in USA but in Europe we have the GDPR, so this behavior is by definition illegal
Recently completed the Certified in Cybersecurity course and thought it was great for a freebie. Recommended to a few pals but have just seen the exam is no longer free, so I marked you down a star.
