I would never use this courier based on…

I would never use this courier based on how many times I've seen one of their trucks hindering traffic. Either they are 10-15mph under the speed limit, can't make a turn and block the intersection or stall taking off and hold up traffic

You have to bend over backwards to…

You have to bend over backwards to accommodate for this company.

Been trying to get a Peloton bike picked up since beginning of April. They only do Wednesdays and Fridays pick up during regular working hours, for which unfortunately due to the healthcare structure of this country I'm not able to accommodate given we are short staffed and cannot just take the day off because JB Hunt can't figure it out logistically. They also accused me of being out of reach - which I had to correct them because I called them multiple times to try and resolve the issue and they basically told me call us back when you can be home during regular work hours. I took a week off from work to relocate for a new job. They said their routes are full months in advance (so why didn't you just schedule me when I told you I would be free this week?). Now they're trying to spin this story saying that they didn't know about the order and Peloton shouldn't have cancelled the pickup order ( which was done to avoid me being charged the monthly fee since they are such princesses I have to bend over backwards to accommodate their precious schedule). I cannot image how this company still exists if they cannot handle the logistics of pick up 2 months it advance. The 1.2 start overall review is a generosity given their gross incompetence and absolute audacity. Surprised that this company is actually surviving in today's economy but maybe they will go bankrupt soon given how badly they've managed this situation.

Side note: the delivery people, the people actually doing the work, are absolutely amazing and such friendly guys. They were professional and got the job done quickly when they delivered my bike. Nothing bad to say about them. I would give them all the extra stars I took from their companies. I hope that they are compensated fairly by JB Hunt (wishful thinking).

ANY EXCUSE NOT TO INSTALL DISHWASHER

Company was contractor hired by Home Depot to deliver and install dishwasher. First they came and refused to install it claiming that there was a leaking dishwaser valve and that had to hire plumber to fix it. Plumber replaced and told me the installer should not have touched that valve it was turnoff to sink, not dishwasher and they probably caused the leak. After fixing that, a different JB Hunt crew came back and said they could not install dishwasher because the electricity was turned on to the dishwasher and that I needed to turn off electricity at the fuse box. The worker accompanied me to fuse box and turned off the furnace instead and I showed him the diagram which matched up the fuses with the appliances. He said no, he needed to turn off #6 fuse but that was the furnace. So I went back downstairs and turned off fuses to all of the kitchen appliances including the dishwasher. Then crew said no, they would not install it, they just wanted the dishwasher turned off everything else back on. So I sent back downstairs and turned off the fuse to just the dishwasher and came back upstairs. Then the head of the crew said he could not install the dishwasher because the floor was not level. I asked what did he mean by that and he showed me that the wood flooring was installed outside the dishwasher and dishwasher was sitting on the subflooring. He said they would install the dishwasher only if I hired a flooring contractor to install wood flooring under the dishwasher too. Which is ridiculous. The floor under the dishwasher was level just different from the hardwood flooring in the kitchen. Plus dishwashers have adjustable levelers if there were issues with leveling. So obviously these guys were just making up reasons not to install the dishwasher even though I paid for installation service, not just delivery. Both crews wanted to just drop off the dishwasher in the middle of my kitchen uninstalled. SCAMMERS-- DO NOT HIRE THEM BECAUSE THEY DO NOT WANT TO INSTALL YOUR APPLIANCES.

We have run into him multiple times with PA to GA lanes and thinks he's better than the person he's talking to. Poor represenitive of JB Hunt.

Delivery Cancelled and NOT rescheduled at "my earliest convenience"

Ordered a Peloton on 11/30, and scheduled the first available delivery, which was 12/20, 8am-12pm. Got a confirmation call 12/19. Waited from 8am-12:30 pm on 12/20 and finally received a call they were cancelling my delivery due to driver shortage and could reschedule at my earliest convenience. I was available the following Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday mornings, but they could only offer me Friday afternoon. Now we have to adjust our holiday travel plans to fit their schedule. I should have been notified before 8 am on 12/20 that no one was planning on delivering. Instead, I wasted my entire morning, taking off work, to sit and wait.

Zero professionalism

Zero professionalism, terrible service. I wasted my whole day waiting for my order and they didn't show up at the scheduled time. I spoke to the manager and they were unprofessional. Very poor service. I would not recommend.

JB Hunt failed deliveries

JB Hunt was supposed to deliver and install a stacked washer & dryer for a Lowes purchase. First trip they forgot the stack kit; Second trip they brought the stack kit but did not do the install; Third trip they did not show up at all as said the stack kit has already been delivered. Washer and Dryer and still uninstalled.

Had a sofa and loveseat delivered for…

Had a sofa and loveseat delivered for Rooms to Go. The technicians did not have instructions and scratched my laminate floor in several places. Despite presenting before and after pictures and constantly calling them and presenting clear evidence after 2 months, they only offered to pay for half ($210) the cost of repair for the damage that they caused and tried to cover up by putting the sofa and loveseat over the scratches. Very dishonest business practice!

Second KitchenAid Whirlpool dishwasher delivery today. First delivery 7/28 had door dented in. Today 8/12 frame was bashed in. Next delivery scheduled 8/30. BTW, Existing dishwasher removed 7/28. Whirlpool claims units are inspected before truck goes out -so damage must occur on truck. Observed on7/28 unsecured pallets of goods in large van.
Can JB Hunt do better on our next delivery? I’m not betting on that.

Very upset at the lack of compassion of the movers.

I had to refuse my order of a new refrigerator because they would not move the one I had out. They wouldn’t even set it on the front porch. I chose a delivery between 2-6pm. And to remove the old one. They arrived at my house at 2:00. They said they were already behind in their deliveries. How could they be behind if they arrived at my house at 2:00 pm. I was their first delivery in the time slot between 2-6.
The movers wouldn’t accept any extra money to relocate my refrigerator to my basement. It was a straight shot from the side door to the basement.
They offered to not charge me the setup fee for delivery of my new refrigerator, which would mean they would not set it up because they’d have move the old one first, which they refused to do.
I am very angry at the service I received. They were not helpful at all.
They said they called their boss, he said there was an option in ordering the refrigerator to choose to relocate an appliance from one point to another. But he said it’s hard to find: I asked what can I do now. They said ”nothing”. I couldn’t do anything now about the delivery. So I had to refuse the delivery since they wouldn’t move my old refrigerator out first, unless they took the old one with them back to the warehouse. I chose the removal of the old one, because that was an extra charge, I thought they would move the old one to the basement for me. But they refused. What was I supposed to do? Have two refrigerators in my kitchen.

Unprofessional and no regard for customer property

The two technicians arrived and the first sentences out of their mouths was that they were not being paid enough for their work.

The one technician realized that he needed to turn off the power source for the garbage disposal and I showed him where the Box for the garbage disposal which would be and he turned the power off.

He could not complete the installation of the new dishwasher so the existing dishwasher remained in place.

When the two technicians left they did not turn the dishwasher off nor did they turn back on the power to the garbage disposal.

I realized this as I was getting ready to leave to run some errands and I heard the noise from the dishwasher then I checked the Box for the power running to the garbage disposal and I then realized that he did not turn back on the switch which actually was not for the garbage disposal.

I would leave 0 stars if I could

I would leave 0 stars if I could. They were used as a transport for a local Ethan Allen furniture store for our neighbor. They decided to use our drive way as a turn around and destroyed our property.JB hunt is now telling us it’s hearsay and they refuse to pay for damages despite multiple people seeing their driver do the act in question. It’s disgusting that such a larger company would treat someone in this way. If it’s all hearsay how do they know it didn’t happen ? Going by the driver who is obviously going to lie to save his job?

If you are a carrier dont pay lumpers

If you are a carrier watch out. JB HUnt does not reimburse lumpers. They should write that right by the delivery addresses because everyone reimburses lumpers instead of putting it where no driver reads,They save a lot of money sticking carriers with their unloading charges . This was on load 3nv1615- i guess i will have to reach out to the shipper to get paid

Inboard having cameras have destroyed…

Inboard cameras have made it toxic to work here. They nitpick at everything you do, from crossing a stop line on the ground, to taking your hand off the wheel, to reaching for your drink in the cup holder, to doing the speed limit at 65 mph (one driver was fired from an Amazon NE account for this) AND GOD FORBID anyone cuts into your lane and hits the brakes because the Bendix system will generate "an event" and they'll want an explanation as to how that could have been avoided. The stupidity at this company knows no bounds. Safety is a complete joke - for many reasons. Then they wonder why their first quarter earnings for 2024 were low. They can't keep drivers for their lives... fact is, I don't know ¾ of my fleet and I've been here almost 4 years. They come and go because of the toxicity here. Management is CLUELESS.

On this a.m. of 4/2/2024 I followed [in the right lane of course] a driver who travelled in the PASSING lane for 14 miles in rainy, hard to see weather. Driver Never once bothered to get over, let the morning traffic pass them constantly & at most times drove over the speed limit. Only legible #’s was 276987 on back of truck. The route I was on: SR 246 heading North & turned at my destination before Wabash Ave Terre Haute, IN

2 time slots per day and you schedule 10 out of 12 on the first half!

What kind of company schedules 10 of it's 12 deliveries in the day total on the 9-2pm slot and 2 of them in the 2-6pm slot? This one does! Surely when you contract with whirlpool to deliver refrigerators and other appliances you would at least realize people have stored the perishables in coolers or expect delivery within the contracted time window. This company rescheduled delivery for 5 days later, 2 and a half hours AFTER the expected delivery. Why pay thousands of dollars for an appliance and prepare when they never show up and reschedule a week later! You had his phone number and he has a doorbell camera, you never showed up. I hope you still have the appliance and it's in good condition. Especially considering it took you 2 hours to drive a delivery that was a 5 min drive as well as reported delivering 2 deliveries that would normally be 35 min drive on a good day, through 5 cities, in just 11 min. The person you did this too is disabled and has to hire someone to be there to prep and take care of the transfer of items. Now he must contract for another day all because of improper routing and scheduling not to mention communication...Truly baffling that your a fortune 500 logistics company. At the VERY Least call the customer when you know your over 2 and a half hours late causing a reschedule.
