Very attentive and helpful sales team
Very attentive and helpful sales team. The entire process was made clear and easy to understand. Our salesperson, Scott, was extremely helpful in accommodating our requirements. The service we received at John Clark Dacia was streaks ahead of any of the other dealerships we dealt with. your salesman James Westwater was very helpful in the purchase of my new Dacia where everything went smoothly.On the day of collection i was given a good crash course on every aspect of the new car which has changed from my previous car from 2 years previous.

Poor communication
First of all, apart from the 2 small warranty issues, the car is lovely.
However, from a dealership perspective the communication is woeful, even from prior to getting the car. We had to phone on the day to make sure we were getting it. When we arrived there was confusion as to what had been agreed, resulting in a trip back for resolution. We have now been waiting since mid February for the warranty work to be done due to parts supply.
Whilst the branch cannot legislate for that, what they can control is when promises to call back or email are made, they have to be met. I had to constantly chase up, and still doing that. All I have had is apologies, but nothing has changed. By some coincidence, each time I went in the Sales Manager was off that day.
I had planned to look at purchasing a further new vehicle from this branch, but now need to think long and hard about that.
This is in stark contrast to the other new car we recently purchased from another John Clark, which was without doubt a 5 star experience. Maybe this branch could take some lessons.
**EDIT May 16th**
Following the cars return for the warranty work I would like to acknowledge the efforts from service, admin to Manager who have kept good communications even though they were hampered by the supplier. I also like the fact that they follow process controls and would not release the vehicle in an unsafe condition. This is a major improvement from the front end of the process.

We also acknowledge your frustration with the delays in warranty work due to parts supply and, more importantly, the unmet promises for callbacks and emails during that period. Your experience of constantly having to chase us up is unacceptable, and we are sorry that mere apologies didn't lead to improvement at that stage. However, we are very grateful for your updated feedback from May 16th. It's reassuring to hear that following the car's return for warranty work, you've seen a major improvement in communication from our service and admin teams, right up to the Manager. Polite and Helpful Staff/Disappointing Valet
Scott was professional and welcoming throughout the whole process. He made sure I was comfortable and explained most aspects of the purchase clearly.
He made sure to answer any questions I had about the history of the car in a timely manner. He was on time for appointments and worked around my schedule.
Concerns I had about the wheel on the car being dirty were addressed and by the time of pick up the wheel looked brand new.
Unfortunately I feel like the valet could have been more thorough. I understand that this is a second hand car but the gearstick appears to have been covered in make-up/dirt of some kind. The inside frame of the doors, boot hinge and door handles were all still covered in algae. This was probably due to the car being parked under a tree. I personally would ensure that these issues were addressed prior to selling the car.
