Stunning location and gorgeous cabin - very beautifully furnished and well equipped. Private yet very close to Bath and the Cotswolds.

We have just returned from a stay in a fantastic converted barn in Sussex. The barn was beautifully appointed, secluded yet close to beautiful villages and the coast. Our hosts couldn’t do enough to make our stay a success. Overall a wonderful trip.

We had a wonderful holiday celebrating our wedding anniversary in Hinton Hideaways. Everything was prepared and designed to its perfection. Highly recommended to everyone who is looking for a peaceful, calmness and modernized countryside holiday.

Nice and also a bit different

Jacob Cottage is situated just off a quiet country lane but within walking distance of the sea.
Tastefully furnished and decorated, it has everything needed for a relaxing break.
There was even a little hamper of 'treats' left for us when we arrived.
It was certainly a five star stay for us!!

From booking to arriving the communication has been easy friendly & helpful
Our host Jake left us a nice welcome pack and was happy to remove / change anything with feathers in it due to my wife’s allergy
The property was spotlessly clean modern with everything we needed

We had such a lovely stay at the River Cabin. From the moment we arrived it was peaceful and just the restful break we wanted. The hot tub and riverside location were perfect for morning and evening dips. The cabin itself was really well thought out. And the added bonus of the lunch hut walk and the walk to the loch made it all come together as a great weekend stay.

It was a great location, good value for the property, clean, homey. Our host offered amazing recommendations for coffee, food & activities. The bedroom was gorgeous, bathroom was squeaky clean & spacious. Kitchen was well stocked & great to use. The wifi was fast & efficient. Very nice and spacious living room area! I loved that our host had offered doggy bowls, towel & blanket for my pet. The booking process was highly simple. Short walk from the station and even shorter walk to the beach & great stores/restaurants.

However, It was extremely difficult to find the place at night when we checked in. Google maps led us to an abandoned warehouse found in the same street. We had difficulty making out which was the property based on images sent. We asked a kind local to help us & we were able to find it. Poor lighting by the front door and when you get into the property to close the front door with the key. Little outdoor patio needed a freshening up, broken tiles.

We stayed at the Huts @the Lodge Essex. It was a wonderful haven of peace away from the noise of the city. The hosts were very welcome and communicated clear instructions about where to park and how to use various equipment in the hut. There are also nice nature walks in the area. We stayed for two nights, the hut was well equipped for us to make meals. The hut has a compost friendly toilet, the only warning for the ladies is to plan any stay around your flow!

Everything was just as I wanted; secluded and off grid(ish - I could still sadly get mobile phone reception) and could hear ‘some’ traffic noise. However, I loved the bed linen and soft towels but the compost bin took a bit of getting used to 😳

The bed was cosy, firm and comfortable- and I had everything I needed to settle in ok.

A few areas to note though…some wear and tear showing on the sun chairs outside and inside too. I also think the amount of wood required to heat the hot tub was excessive at £10 a bag and it took me hours to get the tub warm enough in cooler weather.

The hut was clean although the windows could do with a good buff and sparkle. Overall, a lovely stay in a good location (the local pub is ace) and I would definitely return.

The communication witht the owner of the property was very prompt and accurate. The advice of where to eat was really great. The accommodation exceeded my expectations - it had everything we were expecting and much more. Such a special place.

Great location, weather and property. Tranquil, lots of nature (stoats, egrets,seal). Kayaking on our doorstep. View to die for.

Loved it. The hut was beautifully equipped and peaceful. The outdoor bath was fun. The hut was cosy and the owner provided helpful instructions and a great welcome pack.

Stayed at Brighid, Isle of Lewis. Absolutely stunning, fabulous, amazing contemporary building. Exceptionally clean and well thought out. Amazing views with the sound of the waves gently rolling in. So calming. The weather was fabulous while we were there, end April beginning May 2026. 4 night stay however could have stayed there forever. Roddy was easily available for queries and we had great communication between us. This really is an amazing place to stay. Bigger than photos show and the The Bay is also closer. A must stay.

Great trip away in a well appointed cottage, in a brilliant location. Very helpful host - throughly recommended

This was my first time booking with Kip. The booking process was smooth and there was great communication throughout. Based on the quality of the place we stayed, I would feel very confident in trusting the other accommodation they have selected for their site.

Good communication in advance, easy access on arrival, lovely cottage. It is definitely not a place to stay for anyone with a lack of mobility, with steep, uneven steps leading up to the cottage, and very steep staircase inside, but for anyone else I would highly recommend.

Brilliant and very responsive customer service and a lovely curated collection of places to stay.

We had a wonderful stay in this shepherd’s hut. The interior is beautifully designed, with a really charming, quaint feel, and the exterior is just as thoughtfully done. The surrounding landscape is stunning, and being set within Sophie and Panu’s winery makes it feel even more special and unique.

A real highlight for us was the outdoor copper bath. We were lucky with the weather and made the most of it several times, which was a great experience.

We stayed with our 5-month-old baby, and while compact, the space worked well for the three of us. Sophie and Panu were incredibly accommodating throughout, which made the stay even more enjoyable.

It’s also conveniently located, with an easy trip to a nearby Sainsbury’s for any essentials.

Overall, a peaceful, beautifully designed place to stay, and we’d definitely recommend it.
