Worst Experience Ever

Will never be booking with Kuwait Airways ever again. Cancelled my flight with less than 48 hours notice even though they knew 100% that the flight was not going ahead because of the war given that their airport is closed and has been for a long time.

Other airlines with OPEN AIRPORTS cancelled flights all the way until JUNE! Giving their customers a good enough time frame to reschedule and re plan their travels. And Kuwait with a CLOSED DESTROYED airport did not even come close to doing this. They want to cling onto peoples money until the very last minute to use us as leverage to save their dying company.

Let me tell you integrity and good customer service always wins in the end. When Kuwait airport reopens, their reputation from handling this situation will be their downfall and that’s what happens when you put money first over the customer.

Tried reaching out to them multiple times on WhatsApp about the issue and they literally tip toe around anything you ask and try to avoid accountability. “Nothing we can do as flights are suspended, we have no updates as of right now” was the response I kept receiving anytime I asked a question. Absolutely shocking.

We had pre booked hotels and domestic flights at the destination we were meant to travel to. Because of Kuwait’s last minute cancellation we lost out on the money spent on those and of course no compensation.

What a disgrace of an airline.

I had a flight from Delhi to Madrid. I noticed that their airport had been under attack for over a month. On top of that, the airport’s radar was broken. I wrote to them to see if they were going to cancel the flight.

They canceled the flight 24 hours in advance, even though they knew well in advance that the flight wasn’t going to take off. But until they canceled the flight, there was nothing I could do.

If they had canceled the flight sooner, I could have easily bought other tickets at a lower price (and they knew perfectly well well in advance that the flight wasn’t going to take off). In the end, I had to buy much more expensive tickets with a much longer layover, and the stress this caused me throughout the trip.

My recommendation: don’t buy anything from this terrible airline. In the end, I flew with Emirates and had no problems. If you’re going to take a flight, take it with Emirates, Qatar, or Etihad, even if it takes longer.

Kuwait Airlines, you’re a bunch of incompetents!!!

Avoid at all costs: Negligent, Unprofessional, and Costly

Review: A Masterclass in Poor Communication and Total Disregard for Passengers

I would give zero stars if I could. My experience with Kuwait Airways regarding my Delhi to Cairo flight has been an absolute nightmare of negligence and corporate greed.
The Timeline of Failure:
• Weeks of Uncertainty: As the conflict with Iran escalated, we reached out repeatedly to ask about the status of our flights. We wanted to be proactive.
• Refusal to Help: Despite the obvious instability in the region, Kuwait Airways refused to allow us to cancel without a heavy penalty. They insisted the flights were fine, essentially forcing us to keep our bookings.
• The Last-Minute Blow: After stonewalling us for weeks, they finally cancelled the flight just two days before departure.
The Consequences:
While Kuwait Airways will eventually refund the ticket cost, the damage is already done. Because they waited until 48 hours before the flight to take action:
1. Non-refundable Bookings: We have lost thousands on hotels and internal flights in Egypt that can no longer be cancelled.
2. Price Hikes: Trying to book a last-minute alternative now costs three times the original price.
3. No Flexibility: Other reputable airlines gave their passengers the option to cancel without penalty weeks ago, allowing them to make alternative arrangements. Kuwait Airways chose to wait, leaving us stranded and out of pocket.
Final Verdict:
They lack the basic empathy and professional foresight required to operate during a crisis. By holding out on cancellations until the last moment, they ensured their passengers suffered maximum financial loss on their broader travel plans.
Avoid this airline if you value your time, your money, or your sanity.

Mangemnt lost with no plans during the air closure because of the war.

Kuwait airways customer service refused to offer a full refund to the tickets 2 weeks before the flight nor refund hotels if they dont notify me beforehand. Not only that but the airline customer service informed me that i will only get a notice 1 day before the flight of its canslation, and 2-3weeks for the refund to arrive. Meaning that even with such a short notice i wont be able to rebook with another airline and despite the clear signs of the air not being open any time soon they wont offer me a fee free cancelation 2 weeks prior.

To add to that they started routes from dammam airport and to reroute to that airport i need to pay a price difference that is 2 times the ticket fare i already paid. They do not honour their customers nor have any respect and only care about their pockets shrinking.

Ausgesprochen schlechter Service , keine Erstattung für ausgefallene Flüge

Ausgesprochen schlechter Service . Weder ist jemand erreichbar noch kümmert die Airline sich um Passagiere. Unsere Flüge wurden kurzfristig storniert und weder neue Flüge noch die Erstattung des Reisepreises nach über einem Monat überhaupt angenommen. Haben mit dieser Airline über 6000 Euro verloren für 4 Business Tickets verloren. Nie wieder !

I contacted Kuwait Airways Paris office…

I contacted Kuwait Airways Paris office to enquire about current situation. The lady is responding without any respect and not allowing me to speak during call. I have been flying with multiple airlines across the world and this is the worst experience I ever faced. I request the management to carefully choose customer service client. I never want to fly with your airline again.

Unacceptable Customer Service from Heathrow Tickets Team (Phone Support)

Terrible customer service from the Heathrow tickets team via phone. I was given conflicting and misleading information by the Heathrow ticket office passenger sale phone staff, with no clear or reliable answers.
What’s worse, a supervisor ended the conversation by saying, “I need to have lunch now and this conversation is going nowhere.” Completely unprofessional and dismissive.
They also fail to provide proper notice for refunds due to cancellations, leaving it until the day before, and even then making it a challenge to get your own money back.

As a paying customer, this level of service is unacceptable. I expect clear communication, timely updates, and basic respect, none of which were provided.

Why is this airline allowed to operate…

Why is this airline allowed to operate in UK airspace when it customer service is so deplorable and disgusting. I have book return flight for May 2026 and whenever I contact customer service so many times yet am unable to received an answer to my concern via telephone. This is the most deplorable service I ever known of an airline Why is this allowed to continue i understand there is a middle middleeast war on going but the decent thing the airline can do is to gives support to its customers and not give to a Bot to address customer concerns which is quite confusing and conflicting advice given,I will be seeking charge back if I dont have this matter resolved soon .please be aware of this airline phone ring constantly and no one to answer
This airline need to be investigated you cant just take money from customers and goes awol when they need helps
Disgusting and despicable pratice with this airline 😒🤨

PESSIMI volo cancellato e nessun rimborso

Volo cancellato un giorno prima della partenza, nessuna riprotezione ed impossibile perfino ottenere il rimborso.
Telefonicamente ci hanno detto di attendere cancellazione da parte loro per avere diritto almeno al rimborso di quanto pagato, ma poi in realtà dopo la loro cancellazione il rimborso dal sito non può più essere chiesto (perchè la prenotazione non esiste più) e loro ti rimbalzano da una mail all'altra, da un numero wa all'altro, ma è solo una presa in giro perchè non hanno nessuna intenzione di rimborsare i biglietti.
Altre compagnie nello stesso frangente hanno tenuto un comportamento molto più serio.
Pessimi!!!

Customer Service Nil and disgraceful service

Customer Service Nil
This must be the worst airline for customer services.
Since the war in the Middle East started, Kuwait Airways has not provided any information. All information is from other sources.
Although the airspace is closed only to transport Kuwait citizens, no updates zero, they are cancelling flights under 2 days ahead.
So how can I rebook another flight to my destination when I won't know if my flight will be cancelled until just over a day.
Reports are that there will be commercial flights before the middle of April 2026.
I am seeking a refund, but they will not respond.
I understand there are issues, but at least provide updates and offer refunds.

Compagnie fantôme

Compagnie fantôme, à fuir, aucune nouvelle concernant mon vol dans 3 semaines, ils ont une politique de l'autruche, pendant que les missiles passent au dessus de leur tête. Vol toujours confirmé, comme si de rien était.....Contact par mail, whatsapp... cela ne sert a rien. Mais ou êtes vous caché ?

Bloqué à Bangkok pour rentrer sur Paris ! Société fantôme qui ne nous donne aucune nouvelle ! Rien de rien .On est allé à leur bureau directement apparemment il devait nous remettre sur un autre vol; après une semaine d'attente je reçois un mail comme quoi leur politique a changé depuis le 12 mars donc on nous propose de reprendre un autre vol en passant par le koweit alors que leur aéroport est fermé et doit subir d'important travaux du aux bombardement .Cela fait plus de 10 jours que nous sommes bloqués en thailande ...sans solution

Vlieg niet met deze onbetrouwbare maatschappij.

Maatschappij annuleert onze vlucht na meer dan een half jaar, omdat zij de aansluitingsvlucht hebben vervroegd. Hierdoor plots zonder vlucht en dus nieuwe moeten boeken tegen een enorme meerprijs. Geprobeerd via alle kanalen om ons recht (die we weldegelijk hebben!) te halen. Nergens wordt op gereageerd en ze zijn niet te bereiken en nog steeds mijn geld niet terug. Wij zijn zeer ervaren reizigers, maar hebben dit nog nooit meegemaakt: schandalig!

Boek een andere maatschappij dan deze frauduleuze!!!

Avoid this airline if you can - shocking service

Shocking service, avoid if you can! Flight delayed by 7 hours, absolutely no assistance or compensation offered. When I complained it took them about a month to respond to my email to say they were very sorry and tough luck. Impossible to get any money from them as they are not part of any resolution scheme and it seems no one actually regulates them. Not wasting my time or money taking them to court - wish I had read all the reviews before booking my flight. I hope they go bust and the sooner the better.

Je dois rentrer sur Paris de Bangkok via Kuwait.
À ce jour aucune information de la part de cette compagnie… pas un message, pas un mail, aucune façon de les joindre à part un pauvre WhatsApp qui ne sert à rien ..
À fuir Kuwaitairlines .. vraiment passez le chemin

It took 3 day to fly from Dhaka to London in 2026!!
We were flying from Dhaka to London on 1st of Feb 2026. The aircraft did not turned up in Dhaka fro Kuwait. After spending 6 hours at airport, we were taken to a hotel in Dhaka. No update for 24 hours and then we were taken back to airport to catch a new adhoc flight to Kuwait city. We were supposed to catch the London flight after arrival to Kuwait within an hour, however by the time we arrived in Kuwait, the London flight has already departed. As we were supposed to go back to work in UK, We along with several other passengers insisted travelling to London by alternative arrangement but Kuwait airways did not managed to or unwilling to arrange any alternative flight. We were again taken to a hotel in Kuwait city, stayed another 24 hours and then boarded on next day flight to London. 3 days journey to reach from Dhaka to London.
I wrote to Kuwait airways claiming compensation for my loss of work and loss of income, bur they said these were operational issue and they won't compensate for the loss of time and income.
Not a professional service from Kuwait airways. Think twice before buying tickets from Kuwait airways.
