Our cat was referred in August 2023 and has received ongoing care since then. We are so grateful for the whole team at Langford for their empathetic care and brilliant treatment of our little cat. They are always available to call if ever we need and we feel totally assured by their diligence in her case. Thanks to the wonderful care of Leo, we feel that our cat's quality of life will be the best she could have had. We never feel rushed and Leo answers all our questions no matter how obscure they may seem 😅 Thank you for your wonderful care of our very vocal little cat🐈

Excellent service, clearly animal lovers!
Very reassuring staff, our vet Emily was excellent in her approach to our slightly nervous dog; she remained calm and encouraging.
She explained procedures very articulately in a way us non-vet people can understand clearly.
Highly recommend this animal hospital, my only comment would be a larger waiting area (as clearly they’re very popular and I now know why!).
You couldn’t wish for a better service for your pet - despite our dog requiring an overnight stay, he appeared happy and tail wagging when it was time to go home.

If only the NHS worked as well as Langford does! Excellent communication, great support and empathic staff.

My dog is being treated for a back problem, and gets excessively stressed at the vets. The staff treated him with kindness and understanding.
The vet explained each step of treatment with simple words and diagrams.
Would definitely recommend Langford Small Animal Hospital to any pet owners who are in need of specialist care for their pets.

Our cat was treated by Small Animal Referral Hospital following acute kidney failure. Before arriving at Langford, we were told by two separate vets (our vet at the time & their out of hours vet) that there was nothing they could do and it might be too late.

The vet treating our cat at Small Animal Referral Hospital prioritised my cats comfort & wellbeing. He made her sure she was comfortable and spent so much time trying to win her over. She was extremely stressed and he made sure she was comfortable & as pain free as possible. He even hand fed her when she refused to eat. I received daily calls which were friendly & informative. My cat spent a week in total at Small Animal Referral Hospital and they saved her life. I honestly believe she wouldn't be alive if she hadn't gone to Langford.

Following the amazing & life saving treatment at Langford we have signed all our cats up to the Small Animal Practice, where we also receive the most amazing & caring treatment.

We have been with Langford vets for 4 years and have always had a positive experience. All staff and vets have been lovely.

I travel from the other side of Bristol to use the Small Animal Practice as their service is so good. Apart from the highly professional and knowledgeable staff, their care and communication is excellent. Can't recommend highly enough.

Prompt , efficient , friendly professional assistance from start to finish. Greatly appreciated and put our minds at rest knowing our dog was in the best of care. Highly recommended, great explanation at all stages of investigation and treatment. Our dog is definitely responding to the physiotherapy recommended.

Nice friendly staff, easy to park

Brilliant vets! My dog is always happy to go in, relaxed and not stressed as if she knows they are going to help. They always explain everything in terms you can understand and are gentle and patient with her. They always explain how much things will cost and give you the opportunity to choose how you want to proceed! Nothing is too much trouble!

Not the cheapest, but definitely the best. Excellent service every time we have used them.

Amazing, kind service from everyone. Josh was so gentle and caring with my girl, and I knew she was in good hands. We sadly had to let her go, but knowing he was with her, telling me he would hug her and tell her how loved she was, made it easier for me.
