Order of a light fitting was fulfilled but upon opening all the parts, one was found to be broken. Emailed the company to report this and request a replacement part but almost 2 months later still haven't had a reply. The phone lines conveniently appear out of service. Very poor customer service.

I agree with all of the reviews. Ordered some switches on a 2-3 day delivery and nothing has arrived. Tried to call but the phones are down apparently! Emailed twice, no reply. Tried to do a chat conversation and it doesn’t work. DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE
Do not use this company
I paid for next day delivery and while PayPal confirmed my payment, I've had no communication from Lighting at Home - no order confirmation or tracking. They don't answer their phones or reply to emails and their chatbot doesn't work. When I raised a PayPal dispute, they provided PayPal with the tracking number from another company (Lancashire Lighting) to try to claim they had shipped the goods. Avoid this company!

Phoned Friday & Tuesday pm but just got a recorded message that due to technical issues they cannot take phone calls - use email or messenger service on their site. Tried messenger service twice without response.
Have now asked my credit card company for refund.
A very dubious company!
I ordered 2 bedside lamps for the guest room, turned them on and they looked good. Eventually we had guests to stay so the lights were left on for an hour or so, the transformers became hot and the lamps flickered. I emailed twice but received no response, I then called to be told the delay was probs due to the issue being processed (?). I also bought a matching ceiling but it was far too big for the room, so I returned it. Foolishly I've only just checked bank statements and realise I never received a refund. I've tried calling half a dozen times, get to 1st in the queue then sent to voicemail on each occasion. I want my money back or will take the matter further!

I would recommend not to order from this company. I ordered an item that was shown as being in stock. I have not received the item one month after placing the order. I have called 2 times, and their promises to call me back did not materialize, nor did they respond to email. Now they do not answer the phone and claim the office is closed even though it is within the stated hours. The item is still listed as in stock on their webpage. I have asked for a refund through the card.

I must admit that I was really worried about this company after I had ordered my lights , and then I read the dreadful reviews on line .I feel that I must make my point very clearly , that the reviews on trustpulot are not a true reflection anymore . I placed my order on 23.06.24 and today , 25.06.24 I have received both lights. No delivery charge I may add .From start to finish the customer service has been excellent. They answered my calls, my emails, despatched my order promptly and were professional, ,courteous and polite. Many thanks to John and Kate. The lights are a gift and will not be fitted until next week, , but they look great! Before anyone assumes, , I honestly do not know anyone in this company but I had to write a true and upto date review on my experience with this company Many thanks and I will be ordering from them again. Will post pic when lights fitted , ,also excellent price for good product

Avoid at all costs
Placed an order on the 23/10 and paid for next day delivery. Now 8/11 and nothing. Called, e-mailed and given the total run around. Avoid at all costs.
The times they answer the calls you get fobbed off.
Save your self a whole lot of time and money and shop elsewhere. I doubt they even have any stock total fraud

I made an order on 12 August 2023. It is now 20 September 2023 and the order has not been fulfilled. We have repeatedly contacted for updates and refunds and received nothing in response.
This is a breach of contract under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and we will now be seeking further action.

Awful service , lampshade ordered 23 nov still waiting had to call to chase . Could not initially locate order then tell me it will be another week before delivery, no communication to explain what had happened AVOID
Perfect for the living Room.
I have been looking for bright halogen 20w bulbs for my living room lamp. I've now got these from lightingathome and they are perfect. The only negative is the post cost was a little high for 6 bulbs.
A bit old fashioned (can be a good thing)
Ordered a few older items on website and then did not hear anything other than payment confirmation email.
It took a few tries to get someone on the phone and the gentlemen promised to investigate and to call me back.
I am glad to report he called back within a few minutes.
Turned out lightingathome had already refunded because the item was discontinued.
So I'd say they need to up thei rgame with regards to the accuracy of the website (in stock) and the communication (email abot the refund). All fixable and for me it's more important that they are an honest business and do care.
You may want to speak with them directly rather relying on their website.
Awful customer service and wrong…
Awful customer service and wrong product sent. I bought a wall lamp the week before Christmas, and I had to call on the 4th January to remind them of my order...I thought they were closed over holiday so all fine. They then sent the wrong lamp, similar to the one I purchased on the website but not the same (i needed to swap a broken one to match with the rest). I called them several times, left 4 voice messages and no one called back. I also sent several emails but as before no one replied. I've now arranged for the lamp to be returned and fingers crossed I will have a refund. Do not order from this supplier!
