We bought our Hyundai i30 from Loanhead Motors a couple of months ago and have been absolutely delighted with both the car and the service we received.

When we bought the car, there were a few superficial dents and scratches on the rear bumper and a couple of scratches on the door panels. The owner said he would get these sorted for us, and true to his word, he did.

After having the car for a little while, we also noticed a couple of other small issues. The driver’s electric window button wasn’t working properly, and we discovered that the battery fitted wasn’t the correct stop/start battery, which meant the auto stop/start wasn’t functioning.

This is where Loanhead Motors really impressed us. There was absolutely no hassle whatsoever. The owner was excellent to deal with and made sure everything that needed attention was fixed or replaced.

The i30 itself has been an excellent car, but what really gives you confidence is knowing that the dealership stands behind the cars they sell. It’s easy to be helpful when you’re making a sale — it’s the way a business deals with you afterwards that really shows the level of service they provide.

Based on our experience, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Loanhead Motors. Excellent customer service, genuine after-sales care and a dealership that keeps its word. We’ll definitely consider them again when we’re looking for another car.

Tas was very helpful and the car he has supplied was great. Only good things to say about this family company. They had the vehicle I wanted, with the main problem being that they were 400 miles away in Scotland. I took the risk and flew to Edinburgh to view, test and buy, and am glad I did. Tas picked me up from the airport. The buying process was simple, quick and efficient, and the car/van was exactly as described.

I bought a HONDA CIVIC 2017 1.0 SE CVT in January and everything has been working well. I had a serviced done after the service light appeared on the dashboard at a different Garage. I was advised my NSF AND NSR shock absorbers were leaking and needed replacement.
I contacted Loanhead Car sales Limited and they worked with the warranty company to fix the shock absorbers within 4 days. They even provided a free adaptor for the charging pot in the car this is because the usb port in the car was not working when an after market entertainment screen was fixed.

Another fantastic car!
A friend recently required a smaller car and Taz went that extra mile to ensure that the requirement was met! Communicated exactly what my friend required and although my friend didn’t expect this to be delivered she was more than impressed by what service she received!

We needed a good and reliable car, we were quite particular of where and who to buy from. My husband managed to get just the car we wanted for me from Loanhead car sales ltd. The owner is very friendly and has good customer care.

Absolutely shambolic dealer , bought 3 cars previously and all 3 had to be returned with faults and trading standards made aware , a new sales garage opened up near penicuik land we popped in and he stated he was not loanhead car sales and we bought a car for our daughter passing her test , day we collected it it had passed an mot - got home bald tyre and damaged drop links / knocking , this was repaired , now car being returned as oip in the water and various engine fault codes after an independent inspection set up by the finance company- vehicle rejected , stay clear as absolute rogues
