We had a wonderful stay in Tuscany and were extremely happy with the service provided by Lucca Apartments & Villas. From the very beginning, the communication with Silvana was excellent. She was always friendly, helpful, and made the entire booking process smooth and stress free.
The accommodation was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and tastefully furnished. Everything matched the description perfectly, and the stunning Tuscan surroundings made our stay even more memorable.
Everything was very well organized, and we truly appreciated the attention to detail. We look back on this amazing trip with great memories and are already looking forward to our next visit. We highly recommend Lucca Apartments & Villas and would gladly stay with them again.

We had a lovely stay in the villa Aqua…
We had a lovely stay in the villa Aqua Noir with our two kids. Everything was very well thought, newly refurbished with an extreme good taste. We loved the place, the location was extraordinary as it was in front of the park and also walking distance to the beaches. The house is extremely well designed with everything needed from kitchen utensils to machines in very good condition and very clean. Acqua noir is highly recommended and we are looking forward to coming back!

Wir sind Wiederbesucher ...
Wir sind in diesem Jahr nun bereits das 2te mal Gast in diesem sehr schönen Apartment in Lucca gewesen. Wir waren exakt eine Woche dort. Ausgesprochen gute Lage, inmitten der Altstadt, haben wir uns dort wieder sehr, sehr wohl gefühlt. Ausgesprochen nettes und herzliches Handling (Christina / Alice) Seitens der Agentur selbst ... dennoch gibt es diesmal ein, zwei kritische Bemerkungen anzumelden: 1. der Sonnenschirm, der uns vor der im Juli vorherrschenden Sonne schützen soll, war defekt (wurde von uns so vorgefunden, wir haben es umgehend reklamiert - da man ohne Schirm/Sonnenschutz die Dachterrasse nur am Abend nutzen kann - aber es wurde in der gesamten Woche kein Austausch des defekten Schirms vorgenommen), 2. andere Schäden (im Bad), die wir bereits in letzten Jahr bemerkt haben, waren immer noch vorhanden - gemeint ist die defekte Schiebetür der Dusche, hier speziell das heraushängende Dichtungsgummi. Generell sind auch die Wände leicht mit Staub und Spinnenweben befallen. Am überraschesten war, dass die im Internet gezeigten Bilder der Dachterrasse nicht mehr mit der Wirklichkeit übereinstimmten: Alle Pflanzen, alle Blumentöpfe, alles, was eine gemütliche grüne Oase zeigt, war weg. Ersatzlos weg! Schade! Wir kommen wieder, natürlich, aber in der Hoffnung, dass man sich in der Zwischenzeit mal ein wenig mit der Instandhaltung der Wohnung beschäftigt. Immerhin sind wir Gäste, und die Wohnung gehört nicht zu den preiswerten Angeboten!

vielen herzlichen Dank, dass Sie sich auch für Ihren zweiten Besuch in Lucca in diesem Jahr wieder für unser Apartment entschieden haben. Wir freuen uns sehr, dass Sie erneut die Lage und den herzlichen Empfang durch unser Team zu schätzen wussten.
Wir lesen jedoch mit Bedauern Ihre Anmerkungen bezüglich der Instandhaltung und entschuldigen uns aufrichtig für die entstandenen Unannehmlichkeiten. Wir möchten den Vorfall gerne kurz erläutern, um Ihnen ein vollständiges Bild zu vermitteln: Die Pflanzen auf der Terrasse wurden aufgrund der Renovierung und der damit verbundenen Umgestaltung der Terrasse entfernt. Wir können Ihnen versichern, dass die neuen Fotos der Terrasse in Kürze auf unserer Website veröffentlicht werden. Bezüglich des Sonnenschirms bestätigen wir, dass wir diesen leider nicht reparieren konnten und ihn daher entfernen mussten, um ihn ersetzen zu lassen. Auch hier war die zeitliche Abwicklung für den Ersatz leider nicht schnell genug, sodass der Sonnenschirm nicht mehr vor Ihrer Abreise eintraf und Sie ohne den gewünschten Sonnenschutz auskommen mussten, den wir Ihnen gerne geboten hätten.
Schließlich bedauern wir zutiefst die Probleme im Badezimmer, insbesondere im Hinblick auf die Duschtür. Wir entschuldigen uns dafür, da diese bereits bestehenden Mängel eigentlich hätten behoben sein müssen. Wir versichern Ihnen, dass wir bereits daran arbeiten, diese Probleme endgültig zu beseitigen.
Ihr Feedback ist für uns äußerst wertvoll und motiviert uns dazu, die Instandhaltung unserer Räumlichkeiten kontinuierlich zu verbessern. Wir danken Ihnen für Ihr Vertrauen und hoffen aufrichtig, Sie in Zukunft wieder bei uns begrüßen zu dürfen, um Ihnen den tadellosen Aufenthalt zu bieten, den Sie verdienen.

Perfect communication, friendly host and superb villa!
The contact in the booking process was clear and friendly. Upon arrival in Italy, our host Claudia (who deserves 6 stars 😉) was communicating clearly, was friendly, took all the time we needed for explanation of the house. After arrival she gave us some great tips for things to do and places to visit and to eat, loved that, that’s extra service! We give a five star rating for our experience in Tuscany in this superb house! Next year we will probably book again at this agency.

The villa is perfect for accommodating up to seven people. Everything has been thoughtfully designed to ensure a comfortable and relaxing stay. The swimming pool was our absolute favorite—it truly made our holiday special. The property is spacious, beautifully maintained, and surrounded by a stunning, well-kept garden.

Villa Monte Carlo
The villa was at the high end of the market and whilst lovely was missing some detail expected.
However location and the local team Lore and Tami were extremely helpful and friendly.
If you’re looking to house 14 in comfort it’s a great option, stunning surroundings, 20 minutes from Lucca, 30 from Pisa and 1 hour from Florence.

Peaceful countryside near Lucca
We stayed in one of the apartments for a week and had a great experience. The apartment was clean, and the kitchen was well equipped with everything needed for cooking. It was also very convenient to have two bathrooms.
The pool area is lovely and well maintained, and the property is surrounded by beautiful, lush greenery in peaceful surroundings.
You will need a car with a bit of ground clearance, but access to and from the villa is straightforward. The location is ideal, with a short drive to Pescia, Montecarlo, and Lucca.
Silvana welcomed us on arrival, provided plenty of useful information about the local area, and was always happy to answer any questions.
One thing to note is that the apartment has fans rather than air conditioning.

A peaceful Tuscan escape for the whole family
We stayed at Villa Brunetta with three generations in tow: parents, in laws, and the whole extended family, and it turned out to be exactly the peaceful escape we needed. The villa itself is a beautiful example of the properties you find in this part of Tuscany, full of character and charm. The huge garden was the real star for us; we spent hours out there barbecuing and simply enjoying each other's company.
Monica, our host, was fantastic throughout, warm and always on hand if we needed anything. The location is also very accessible from the motorway, which made arriving with a large group far less stressful than expected.
I'd happily recommend Villa Brunetta to any large family looking for a relaxed, comfortable base in Tuscany.

Die Organisation durch Lucca Appartments and Villas hat reibungslos funktioniert. Filippo stand uns vor und während unseres Aufenthaltes immer hilfreich und herzlich zur Seite.

We had a lovely two-week stay overall…
We had a lovely two-week stay overall and there was so much to like about this property.
The villa itself (Villa Gianni) is beautiful, spacious, modern, exceptionally well equipped and set within lovely, well-maintained gardens. It is in an excellent location for exploring Tuscany, and we visited Lucca, Florence, Pisa, Montecarlo, the coast and Rome very easily from here.
The owner was delightful. He came each week to clean the pool and clearly took great pride in maintaining the property, even bringing pastries one morning so we could enjoy a traditional Tuscan breakfast.
The road outside was a little busier than we had expected and so quite noisy.
Unfortunately, our experience with the management company was much more mixed.
When we arrived, the air conditioning in the downstairs room wasn't working. The manager did arrange for someone to repair it, but our first morning ended up being spent waiting at the villa while this was organised, not a huge deal on its own.
A few days later, my son woke during the night to find a cockroach on his pillow. We appreciate that insects are part of life in warmer climates, and we may have just been unlucky.
We were due to leave early that morning for a full day in Rome. My son slept in the spare room instead of that room after finding it. We contacted the management company on the train to Rome hoping they could simply arrange for the room to be cleaned and the bedding changed in 2 rooms as my daughter was arriving the following day and needed the spare room.
This wasn't a request for an optional housekeeping service; it was an exceptional situation following an unpleasant incident. We explained that we didn't feel we should have to pay in these circumstances, but were simply told that arranging a clean would cost €200 because that was the cleaning company's charge. No flexibility or gesture of goodwill was offered.
In the end, we spent part of our holiday washing bedding, cleaning the room ourselves and preparing both bedrooms before our daughter arrived the following day. It wasn't how we'd hoped to spend our holiday and was disappointing because we felt this situation could have been resolved very quickly with a little understanding, especially considering their '360 degree service' philosophy and values around having a perfect holiday of rest.
We also found that the concierge service didn't quite match the impression given before our stay. We received messages offering to arrange bookings for us, so we asked for help booking a vineyard tour and taxis so my husband could enjoy the wine tasting. The vineyard tour was booked, which we could have done online, it was more help with taxis we wanted due to language barrier. But for the taxis we were simply sent a phone number. Unfortunately that taxi company couldn't help us, so we ended up researching alternatives and trying to arrange transport ourselves.
What disappointed us most wasn't any one issue on its own. It was the contrast between the customer service we experienced and the philosophy promoted by Lucca Apartments & Villas. Their welcome information speaks about providing a "360° holiday experience", giving guests "peace of mind before, during and after your trip", and being "just one call away" if anything is needed. Sadly, when we genuinely needed support, our experience didn't reflect those promises. A relaxing holiday is about more than the property itself. It's also about feeling confident that if something unexpected happens, you'll be supported in a way that reflects the values the company promotes. We left feeling that the villa deserved five stars, but the customer service simply didn't match the standard that had been promised.

We truly appreciate the positive comments you shared about the villa itself, its beautiful setting, and the hospitality shown by the owner during your visit. It is wonderful to hear that you were able to explore so much of Tuscany and that the property's location served your family well.
However, we are genuinely sorry to read about the challenges you faced, particularly regarding our customer service and concierge support. We pride ourselves on our "360° holiday experience" philosophy, which promises peace of mind and support during your stay. Based on your experience, it is clear that we failed to live up to these values when you needed us most.
Please accept our sincere apologies for the stress caused by the incident with the bedding and the subsequent handling of that situation. We understand that a holiday is precious time, and you should never have been placed in a position where you felt forced to clean or prepare the villa yourself, especially following an unpleasant experience. We missed an opportunity to show the understanding and support that our guests deserve, and we are disappointed that our response fell so far short of the standard we promote.
We also apologize that our concierge service did not provide the proactive help you needed. We understand that simply providing a phone number is not the same as offering the practical assistance required to navigate barriers, such as the local taxi situation you described.
We take your comments the service failures very seriously. Please know that we are reviewing these points internally to improve our processes and ensure that our actions align much more closely with the promises we make to our guests.
We would have loved to be the "peace of mind" you were looking for, and we are very sorry that we let you down. Thank you again for highlighting these issues; it is only through feedback like yours that we can hope to improve.

Fabulous Villa
The villa was fantastic. Everything you’d hope for and more ….. a great place to spend some quality time with family or friends.
The local letting agents were a tremendous help too.

Villa Buonamici - Mini
Villa Buonamici - with Mini - we have had an amazing time in this wonderful house which is perfectly located for Lucca just outside the city walls, and well located for local shops as well as the city centre. As well as super comfortable beds (so hard to find in a rental!), the house is perfect for entertaining a larger group…the kitchen is well kitted out and there is aircon throughout the house if the weather is too hot outside. The grounds are well maintained and the pool is gorgeous. Mini is a wonderful host - she recommended a local place for us to host a birthday celebration and booked it for us (our Italian is not good) - she has been so attentive throughout our visit - I cannot recommend her or the house highly enough. Five stars across the board…
