Whilst I have given a 5 * review that is purely in relation to our solicitor Liam Price. Liam has been professional, helpful, forthright and his work ethic serves him very well.

The process of getting to a solicitor under legal assistance is cumbersome and a bit of a saga. Your case is initially assessed by junior staff which was very frustrating as it wasted 6 months and held up a case that was pretty much 'court' ready having been transferred from another experienced solicitor.

Thankfully, once we got to Liam, we moved forward and presented a very robust case to the court. Liam listened, engaged and advised. If I were to be critical of Liam in any way, then I would suggest that there were times when I should have been more involved and copied into correspondence sent to the other side.

Overall, thanks Liam and I wish you very well in your future career.

After complaining to management about my case handler things got worse….missing paperwork, not returning calls for at least five working days, being told they hadn’t received paperwork then to told about a week later they hadn’t and didn’t know why they told me they hadn’t, in other words they lied to me.
They will not listen to you or your concerns, they will use Mickey Mouse “specialists” for reports.
When they received the offer from the other parties on my claim they didn’t even bother to tell me, also didn’t even bother to tell me that the other side had made payment to settle the claim.
Do not use and if you already have the misfortune to be using them write everything down and take notes like I have and push to finalise your claim as soon as possible.

An ebike crashed into the back of my car (taxi) while I was stationary in April 2025. The rider took responsibility, the bike insurance was extremely difficult to deal with they tried everything to stop this claim and not to pay.

DO NOT touch this company with a barge pole , if your insurance company has instructed these cowboys then please for the sake of your legal matter request a new solicitor or find another one to transfer your matter to ! This company cost me thousands of pounds and continues to deny any wrong doing. AND beware the staff running the claims and legal matters are NOT solicitors they are paralegals and apprentices some of which have NO legal qualifications!. You have been warned instruct these cowboys at your OWN RISK !!. After reading my entire file spanning over 3 years I’ve found over 40 plus mistakes and regulation breaks. I had a personal injury claim through my insurer handled by this Solicitor firm. My case handler was Sajida and she was amazing. She kept me informed regularly and was always very prompt in her communication. My case was exceptionally gathered and presented with all details carefully explained. This, in turn, helped to settle my case to a satisfactory outcome.

Sajida Abaidin has acted very professionally on my case clearly explaining verbally on each issue raised. This has then be followed up by acknowledging all the points via email. She appointed 3rd party professionals for medical opinions to give me a realistic appraisal. Sajida takes times in understanding the concerns and is an asset to the company.

Beth Chandler kept me up to date with the case and followed through when the third part insurer was not responding and completing the process from their side. The process was eventually successfully finalised and completed.

My road traffic incident was over shadowed by me have a stroke two weeks afterwards. This further added to the complexity of my clai, my claim handler Aneesa from the Leeds office kept me updated on a regular basis on how my claim was being handled, and her comms were excellent! It has been a long hard two plus years for me, but due to Lyons Davison and Aneesa my claim turned out to my satisfaction! Lesley

Finally after 2 1/2 years of fighting Bethany Chandler emailed me last Friday to say she had recovered my excess and was no longer a 50/50 I was totally non fault as I always had maintained. After the amount of time that had passed it was a shock to hear from her as I had given up any hope. She was a very professional and polite lady and lovely to deal with and nothing was too much trouble for her and always gave me an answer when she could to my questions.
Reason I’d given up any hope was because last time I heard from them was another person and he didn’t hold out much hope and he had given up by what he said but I said I will carry it on myself if need be.
Anyway all has turned out well and got the result I believe should have been at the start but other insurance company made the choice to drag it out so long but Bethany obviously never gave up and she will never know how much she is appreciated by me for all her help.
Note to her bosses. Look after this lady and give her a pay rise she deserves every penny you give her and she certainly gives the company a good name.

These people do not care about your or your loses, they treat people like animals and do not follow though on any single promise that they claim.

Ms Taleb was an excellent, bold advocate with the confidence to hold the magistrate to account when the clerk had dominated and misinformed on a point of court guidelines. I would certainly recommend Lyons Davidson, you can rely upon them!

This company is a farce! My wife was in a no fault car accident. Two years on and still no resolution - they don’t answer messages from their online portal, direct emails or phone calls. Horrendous service and the case has been passed from paralegal to paralegal, no response, no continuity, no nothing! On the rare occasion they do send a message they don’t answer the basic questions and then when I respond asking why they haven’t, you know you’ve then got months wait before they come back again. STAY AWAY from this company and if you’re with LV insurance, ask them not to transfer your case to this company - I don’t think they are a bonafide legal firm.

Amazing customer support. Me being a very anxious customer throughout the whole experience (and I mean from day one) I was always made to feel supported and looked after (even through out the many many phone calls I made, asking what’s this or what do this mean) I was always reassured and my mind put at ease. I had a legal cover from Nationwide adminstered by Arc Legal and Lyons Davidson. I had a claim against Canada Life Ltd. Which was validated by Arc Legal after 3 months of the start of claim ( will raise a different review for Arc Legals dismal services) meanwhile the Solicitors at Lyons Davidson took a further 15 months to take my claim to court by end of this month.

After 15 months of repeated information of evidence and stalling my case it has now become apparent that Lyons Davidson had no intention of taking my claim to court with repeated refusal to accept the evidence and when they had no further excuses they said Nationwide are unwilling to release the funds and after one big ride of 18 months I have insufficient indemnity and I would have to pay LD Solicitors to file my case in court !!

My experience and service from ArcLegal and Lyons Davidsons has been that my case is unimportant , negligible and inconsequential. I should have realised that LD Davidson had no intention to process my claim and now I have reached the end date by which the claim supported by legitimate evidence should have been filed.

This has left me with 6 years of taking my case of £56k to various organisations including the Financial Ombudsman until Lyons Davidsons completely eroded any chance of me getting my claim through

Please do not use their services. Obviously after going through the various reviews it has become evident whereby ArcLegal and LD Solicitors do not process legitimate cases and collect their prelitigation fees from the Insurer nationwide and save the insurer paying the funds uptonfull indemnity of 50k for contesting the claim in court.

Obviously I will get a robotic reply from LD Solicitors and Arc Legal regarding the compliance process and ya Di yada

However these require investigation from organisations who deal with poor services from Solicitors, social media and Print Media journalists

Please do not avail services from LD Solicitors and Arc Legal. Be very careful in obtaining Nationwide Legal cover
