Charged Despite Cancellation
I got a free trial on March 25th but it didn't provide me with the article they said they had, that I was trying to read. No worries, I requested to cancel immediately. Their customer service team responded to confirm my subscription had been cancelled and I would not be charged. Today, they charged me anyways! Not impressed, want my money back.
Watch Out For Autopayments
Impossible to cancel. Took me months to get a confirmation and I still maybe only was able to cancel auto payments.
9+ years of usage, highly recommended even today
Have been using Magzter since 2017, and have found tremendous value. Family feature is really great as it allows me to share it my folks, who otherwise won't spend on such subscriptions, but end up using this more than me. Amanda from their customer support team was specially very helpful when I was facing issues in renewal. Highly recommend this app
Magzter is a scam!
I requested for my free trial to be canceled on the SAME day I signed up. The help desk failed to respond and a week later charged my credit card. I will be disputing this through my credit card company. I should have known they were going to scam me when the only option to cancel was via email.

They keep recommending Indian magazines & newspapers. They claim it's geography-based, but I've changed my region from the US, to Indonesia, to even Japan and most of the recommendations remain dominated by Indian publications.

Having been a subscriber for the last 1 year, it has been really satisfying to get all the leading magazines when they are released. I was able to read many articles with the help of this app. Whenever I reached out to the support team for any help, the issue was addressed quickly. The support team is great.
Helpful people with a great way to use the virtual newsstand
The variety of reading periodicals is amazing and great value. The family plan even more impressive. The communication is extremely good and helpful in helping with subscribing and even with an iOS technical problem, the Magzter representative was very helpful and effective at the correct solution.
I emailed for help because on an internal server error
I emailed for help because I was unable to download new magazines to my iPad. The customer service got back to me the same day and was able to fix my problem within 3 days. Both courteous and quick!

Malicious subscription model, avoid.
Malicious practice with regards to subscriptions. A magazine's page clearly states a "1-year" subscription with the number of issues shown. Despite this, they've automatically charged me again without my consent for a renewal. They also make is extremely difficult to cancel any subscription as you have to email them to get it cancelled.

I would give 0 stars if that would be possible.
They force auto-renew on all subscriptions, you can't avoid it.
You can't cancel your subscription without contacting them. When I did that, I didn't receive reply before they charged my credit card. When I informed them that I cancelled on time and want them to refund, they just said that "we can't refund you". Really?
I think this kind of business is illegal in the EU where I live. The customer must not be forced to remain a customer.
And when it comes to magazine selection, it has become worse during the last year.
Stay away from them...

The selection of content is great and the price is unbeatable but the support is really good with really fast turn-around and excellent results.
