Everything made easy. Staff very professional and helpful. No problems at any stage of administration and everything always completed on time.
I always found MainPay very good. Unfortunately I had to change to Giant, another umbrella company because of some government regulation. They cost twice as much.

They increased my employment cost…
They increased my employment cost without a reasonable explanation, from 40 to 60 “weekly “ and having exactly same income both weeks.

Do not use
They take a large admin fee and will not explain the reason why. They will not include milage and expenses either. I used them because I was not given a choice by employment agency. I would not recommend them.

Deductions and fees are not worth it
Staff and management are very abrupt and don’t both explain things correctly nor appropriately. I was interrogated rather than treated fairly when i asked to leave their service and was asked by a manager if i left their service where else would I go. The fees and deductions are too high and it’s making me not enjoy working anymore.

If I could give them zero stars
If I could give them zero stars, then I would. They calculated my tax wrongly (1/3 of my weekly pay!), despite having the right tax code for me and my P45. Now they are unable to correct it, despite my advices given by HMRC and telling them what to do next. Be aware of this company!

Stay well away from MainPay! Selfish, nothing but selfish. I worj with them through a teaching agency and all other agencies are furloughing, but not MainPay. Keep well away! Avoid like the plague.
