Don't buy from this company
Went to this company 11/09/2020 to view a car it was late in the day so arranged with the salesman to come back next day for test drive at 2pm, his suggestion as he had other test drives in the morning. We also requested that no one else was to test drive it.
Arrived at about 1.45pm and car was nowhere to be seen and found out that the car was out on a test drive.
Salesman said he thought that it was us that had gone on the test drive because the lady had blonde hair. When the car came back the couple said the wanted to buy it.
The salesman came out to tell us and still maintained that he thought it was us even though the other couple looked nothing like us. This has greatly distressed my partner as she had set her heart on buying the car.
In my opinion the salesman was totally unprofessional and in my opinion is a liar, lying to cover his back. We will never return to this car dealer they can't be trusted.
The professional way to have dealt with the situation, was to tell the other couple that we had first refusal and take their details if we decided not to buy. This behaviour does not match the customer service statement on their website
If they are prepared to lie like that what other lies are they telling, BUYER BEWARE.
