DON'T WORK WITH THEM, THEY DON'T PAY YOU
This company is a joke. They don't pay the linguists for the jobs completed for them. I've been waiting for some invoices to be paid for almost four months. I've been in contact with their Accounts Department almost everyday this month and they just keep saying that they are going to pay me 'this week' and then it never happens. They just try to gain time to not pay you. You should be ashamend about this! Don't work with them unless you like working for free.

PAY ME!! I'M A FREELANCER NOT A VOLUNTEER!!!
I have been waiting too long for payment from them.
The first payment request was made in September 2023. Even though there was no clarity on payment, I still accepted assignments, whether translation or review.
The PMs I work with are very communicative, but that's the opposite when requesting payment from their finance department at accounts@missiontranslatedotcom.
At first, they answered my complaint about the delay in payment. However, they no longer responded to my email after I tried to wait patiently and make a new payment request.
DON'T TELL ME THAT I HAVE TO CONTACT accounts@missiontranslatedotcom!! I'VE DONE IT MANY TIMES!!

Non-payers
They have failed on their payments. They were always slow to pay, and I needed to give them a kick to get paid. In their last response to my complaint where I also mentioned to go public should they not pay, they found nothing better to say than “unfortunately we have no further updates or information” – and this was said about work delivered back in July and August! Avoid them!
P.S. They paid their dues after this post had been published.

Avoid this company at all costs
I provided my services as a freelance translator to Mission Translate on 2 projects back in September 2023. My invoices are still outstanding and have not been paid to date, which is a clear breach of contract. Following written communication, I have been provided with nothing else but empty excuses and flowery emails that make absolutely no sense. My advice to fellow freelance translators as well as potential customers is to avoid this company at all costs.

Avoid this company. They do not pay.
I have been chasing them for an overdue payment of €1595.94 for over a year. Their replies are always full of good words but sadly they never do what they promise. I am considering taking legal action against them for the time and money loss they have caused me.

Steer clear at all cost if you value basic human decency - you're better off putting out an extensive blaze with your bare hands
It's always the same old story with them.
Always in a hurry when they want something from you but way too keen on doling out flimsy excuses (I couldn't care less about Philippine holidays or whatever, this is a UK company) or giving us the good ol' silent treatment when it's time for them to pay up ALREADY. Mind you, they say 4-6 weeks in their very own payment terms. Might as well put 4-6 years there.
Any individual aiding and abetting this "family business" should be utterly, utterly, utterly ashamed of themselves. We know all too well what they are doing-or in this case-not doing with our hard-earned money.
Since I am waiting to get paid for months on end yet again and again and again, I'm about to report them to Acas.
Anyone care to join me? There's gotta be dozens of short-changed linguists out there. It's time to put an end to this "family business" and their practices for good.
Or how about we pool our remaining resources and organise a meet & greet with the founders? I'm sure we'll even gladly accept whatever they owe us in kind. :D I mean, they can't keep ignoring and avoiding us forever, right?
Anyway, pay up already!!! We are not your personal ATMs!!! People are struggling to pay their bills because of you!!!
Edit 24/11/23: After threatening to report them to Acas in UK/England, they've finally managed to pay me! It's batshit what it takes to get your money after several months.

I regret to inform others about my…
I regret to inform others about my negative experience with Mission Translate. Despite rendering services in September, I have yet to receive payment, which is a significant concern.
Repeated attempts to resolve this through emails have been met with silence, and calls to their accounts department only result in voicemail. The lack of response is unprofessional and unacceptable. Their promised 4-6 week payment period has long passed without any explanation or effort to rectify the situation.
Given this experience, I fear they may not intend to pay at all. We are seriously considering legal action to ensure payment for services rendered. I hope this review serves as a caution to others considering working with Mission Translate.

This Company do not pay there freelancers! I have a client who still has not been paid 6 months after project has been invoiced.
Plenty of emails promising the money is coming, and now they can't even be bothered to respond to emails.
AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.

I'm sick and tired of this company which is incredibly fast when need something, and then takes forever to pay, where everybody answers with pompous and cerimonious emails, full of excuses and promises that are rarely kept. They always underpaid me, and now that I noticed and asked for compensation, they disappeared. DON'T WORK FOR THIS COMPANY AND BY ANY MEANS DON'T HIRE THEM!

Mission Translate is a scam
This MTHub is a scam. Don't work with them because they are not paying for your work and the accounts team is not answering your emails. Even though the project managers are replying, they are not moving a finger for you to be paid. I have an unpaid work since July, and we are in mid October. SCAM SCAM SCAM! Their accounts team is a bad joke.

Do you expect to get paid for your work?
Unfortunately, this company is terrible when it comes to paying you for your effort and time.
I have received multiple, almost identical replies, in August and September, regarding delayed payments for work I completed in April.
The new trendy answer is that "they are working on getting the outstanding payment cleared as quickly as possible but are waiting on our factor pulling through to make this possible."
My latest email was completely ignored, while the communication with @accounts, if any, is completely impersonal and slow.
This has been the situation all those years that I, occasionally, took over projects for them as a freelancer.
How funny that they take the time to pretentiously answer those reviews/emails with "how disheartened" they are about the negative experience and "how deeply" they regret the inconvenience and frustration that caused you",
and they had not really taken the time to address the actual problem all those years: failing to pay the people for their work!
I do not need more responses like this and I have contacted accounts multiple times ;)
TO SUM UP, the time you are going to waste in begging them for your payment, including the stress and frustration, will worth much more than the payment itself.
Everyone deserves better, right?

Another report of NON-PAYMENT
I have been waiting for more than 7 months to receive the payment - still pending!
I wrote to their accounts team numerous times, and they kept apologising and promising to give me an update on when I would be paid. However, no feedback was provided, and they did not pay. Payment deadlines are completely ignored.

Same old problem: they reply by saying that they are experiencing issues with their financial department or ignore when they will be able to settle your invoices, poor communication, vague replies about unpaid invoices...
PMs are fantastic: I do not blame them.
Update: still waiting for almost half of the due amount...

Sadly another report of non payment by Mission Translate. I have invoices going back over 12 months, very poor communication, vague reply about unpaid invoices ('we're waiting for our factors pulling through'). I've always delivered my work for them on time yet have to chase payments for months. I'm not going to work for them anymore.
PMs are fantastic, though - quick to reply and helpful.
update: 7 September, payment still outstanding. The only contact I've had since posting this review was the reply below.

NO PAYMENT - AVOID
Mission Translate owes me £3.7K. I provided translation services but have been chasing money for several months. Disgracefully, no sign of the payment.
They used to operate as "eSense" and "Convocco", but repeatedly declare bankruptcy to avoid paying freelancers and, set up a new company with a different name. It seems like this has been the cycle for them for over a decade now.
Avoid this company at all costs.

They owe me more than 5 months of invoices, I haven't been paid for jobs done over a year ago. Totally horrible experience, no response for weeks! Absolutely avoid.

Absolutely disgraceful company
Absolutely disgraceful company, they’re so quick at assigning you jobs that have to be delivered by extremely tight deadlines and then they disappear when it’s time to pay. I’ve been waiting for £130 for over two months now and all my emails have been ignored. If you’re a translator avoid them like the plague, I’m still not sure how they are allowed to operate at all, stealing from honest people like this.

Delayed payment, no communication
I have been working as a linguist for Mission Translate for over 2 years now, and in all my time here, I have had to chase down my payments. This time round, there was no feedback on when I will get paid, and they owe thousands of dollars. Although I have written numerous times to their accounts team, they don't respond, nor do they pay. Mind you, these are projects that were completed very early in the year, from February 2023. It is quite unfortunate that this is what linguists are reduced to, yet we provide high quality work and on time.
When are you paying your linguists? This is really an unprofessional company, because there's a contract, and everyone should abide by it. Pay up.
