Rude staff lacking any sort of empathy
I've been on UCLH with an emergency for over a week. The NHS staff has been great especially in the MFAU, Labour Delivery and Neonatal. The Mitie catering was really bad. Leaving food aside, the staff has zero empathy and many times are super rude. They feel their job is to take an order as robots and drop it on the table. No consistency in delivery or removal, just a constant mention of what is not possible. There has to be a better option for NHS.

Nick Tusa is the worst Manager I've come across. He comes across impulsive, very condescending when you speak to him. Will try and catch you out on things you have not even done or said. Will dismiss the conversation & don't hear you out if you speak to him about something he is wrong about.
He should not be a Manager.

Zero stars review Asda Owlcoats Store young Asian Security guard that's been Tuped over from Asda to Mitie. Complaint's gone in to both companies. Previously been falsely accused of shop lifing by these so called trained secuity guard's that aren't. Been following me around Store other customers are allowed to take plastic shopping bag's in and bags for life in however as mine is a Wilko's bag for life I'm stopped. Cherry picking people ie targeting rather than staff doing their job. Staff at Asda have over charged me as the till doesn't always work correctly with the prices matching on-line and instore. Same with self service tills doesn't always work regarding cash.
I would advise anyone considering a job with motor
I would advise anyone considering a position here to think twice. My experience was marred by a consistently toxic work environment where bullying and favoritism are not just present, but seemingly part of the culture.
The management is highly ineffective and often unprofessional. Communication is virtually non-existent; requests for annual leave are routinely ignored, yet the expectations on staff are unreasonable. You are expected to work most weekends (only one off every six weeks) and put in extra hours on bank holidays with no additional pay or overtime incentives.
Beyond the poor work-life balance, there are serious hygiene and safety concerns:
* Unprofessional Standards: I was issued a pre-owned, unwashed, and foul-smelling uniform on my first day.
* Hostile Environment: There is a culture of "leaving traps" for employees rather than providing constructive support.
* Safety Issues: There were distressing instances of sexual harassment from security personnel that were not properly addressed.
This is a disorganised and demoralising place to work. Save yourself the stress and look elsewhere.
Don’t waste your time
I Applied with Mitie for a relief security job after not working for several months, I got given an interview on teams and the camera wasn’t even turned on as the manager requested which I thought was a little unprofessional and strange but I managed to get the offer which I accepted, I complete vetting quickly and was told by the vetting team I could start depending on my contract with the manager which is fair enough.
I emailed the manager 4 times because she’s been ignoring me for over 4 weeks which is very frustrating and unprofessional as I want to know and understand what’s happening with the position I accepted.
I feel like I’m being ghosted or rejected from the position but I haven’t been updated or told anything which is very frustrating as I need to work.
I called the vetting team and they told me my names not on the system after I’ve been confirmed my vetting is complete.
The vetting team have no idea on how to help you so I wouldn’t bother with the company as they like to keep you waiting.
The vetting team have been fantastic and have emailed me tagging the mangers email for a email back which was quite nice of them but I’ve still been ghosted by the manager which is strange.
I won’t be working for Mitie or applying for any more jobs with them.
Manager is Frances Saunders I’ll happily shame her because I’ve been waiting for months for no start date

Absolutely awful experience with Mitie.
I previously worked for Mitie and honestly the whole place was full of politics and hypocrisy. Workers were treated completely differently depending on who you were. Everyone seemed to have their own set of rules. For example, I wasn’t allowed to wear my uniform off site, yet other staff members were doing it regularly with no issues at all.
When I first started, I had to wait an extra three weeks to get my first paycheck because my hours were apparently “wrong”. No one could give a clear explanation and it took ages to fix.
Eventually I left and went to work for another company that paid weekly. It was a great setup and everything ran smoothly. Unfortunately that company lost the contract for the site, and we were TUPE transferred back into Mitie when they took over again.
Since Mitie returned, everything has gone downhill again. We were promised advance pay to help with the transition from weekly pay to monthly pay, but that money never came. Because of this I ended up in financial difficulty, and now six weeks later I still haven’t received any payment from them.
To make things worse, my latest payslip is missing 32 hours of work. It’s the exact same problems I had the last time I worked for them poor organisation, inconsistent rules, and serious payroll issues.
Overall it’s been a frustrating and stressful experience, and unfortunately it feels like nothing has improved since the last time I worked there.

Tuve la gran suerte de usar el servicio y que me atendiera Belén. Soy una persona mayor con movilidad reducida y viajaba con mis hijos y mi nieta. Gracias a la amabilidad y la capacidad de atención al cliente de Belén todo fue fácil. Quiero dar mi enhorabuena a Mitie por contar con profesionales como Belén. Después me atendieron más personas y también muy bien, pero lo de Belén fue excepcional.

Abusive staff member. I was aggressively shouted at in traffic by a man in a mitie van. He obviously doesn’t quite realise he is in a work vehicle so I noted his registration down. We were verbally abused as there was nowhere for us to move the car and he was simply

They don't keep their word
I applied for a job. They emailed me they tried to reach me so I called back on 24th Feb . The job description I was given over the phone had way more duties then the one I applied for so I asked them to email me stating all the duties. Haven't heard back since then. The guy on the phone sounded like he hates his job. Hung up on me without saying buy. And that's it. All and when I asked about the pay rise after the trainee period, I was told that I "might" get to. Which to me it means I won't. They also asked how much I currently get paid which I didn't answer cuz it wasn't relevant at all. " That's something they have to ask" I was told. Didn't have a good experience at all. No wonder that have 1 star reviews.

Very poor standards of cleaning no one cares one code practice is just for show l have complained been over 1 month never heard back a very unprofessional company don’t listen to the hard working class

I worked for them for 10 months it was that bad I tried taking my own life and now its even worse trying to talk to Phil Bentley is impossible. Yet he sends all these videos saying how all the staff are so important and their heath and mental health is even more important. Not the best experience so please stay away not a good company to work for. For such a big company you would expect better.

I had the most dredful experience and rant from a Mitie employee in waitrose solihull on Monday 2nd February mid afternoon.
Most definitely need training and anger management.
Verbally attacked me a pensioner never had such a dredful experience in my 70 yrs.
I entered by the main entrance of waitrose taking a trolley outside the door and the trolly anchored to the door mat injuring me ,others tried to move not possible. Then this man came along unlocked trolly. I asked him to leave as just cause me an injury . He said I can not hear so raised my voice a little and he raged into dont shout at me I will through you out and ban you from the shop,. Horrid man.
Worst Company to Work for!
I was employed by Mitie for approximately 2 months.
My employment was terminated following a health and safety near-miss incident which I reported in line with site procedures. I complied with the relevant reporting process. The incident occurred during a weekend, and I was later informed by my manager that I should have reported it directly to her, despite this not being clearly communicated at the time.
Throughout my employment, I did not receive adequate technical training or support, yet was still expected to perform my duties to the required standard.
Following the termination of my contract, Mitie has failed to pay my outstanding wages and has not issued my P45, despite repeated requests. This has caused unnecessary difficulty and distress.
In my experience, the management and HR processes were poorly handled and lacked fairness and transparency. I would advise prospective employees to carefully consider this before accepting a role with this company.

Mala experiencia,mi contrato se acababa en dos días,y en teoría tendrían que avisar si te renuevan o no antes de que se te acabe tu contrato que serían 15 días por antelación,y nunca me avisaron,estuve un mes de prueba que supere,después estuve 3 meses de prorrogado y cuando tenían que poner un contrato discontinuo me echaron,porque decían que necesitan gente con discapacidad porque asi ellos no pagarían seguridad social,en cambio si no cogen una persona con discapacidad pues tendrían que pagar por ellos la seguridad social.
Esta empresa es una estafa.

Made redundant after 3 months, 2 weeks before Christmas
Had a PERMANENT contract and started in September. Advertised a salaried role but it was actually hourly paid. Never saw hide nor hair of my manager or team, WFH the whole time with some site visits. Never got enrolled into the pension. They then make me redundant 2 weeks before Christmas. Great big back and forth to get my travel expenses paid and now they won't send me my P45. I don't think they ever intended to keep me permanently even though it was advertised as such. Really dodgy company, avoid at all costs.
