my husband had emphatically wanted NOTHING to do with a scooter! However, as I was to lead a tour in Ireland for 2 weeks that required a lot of walking as a "surprise" I had rented one from Martin, which had already been delivered and sitting in our hotel when we arrived. IT WAS A LIFESAVER!! Perfect for him for this trip! And to leave at the hotel afterwards made it so easy when time to leave. As a travel agency owner and also a spouse of one who needed something like this, the rent went off without a hitch. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND using the services of Martin and Mobility Direct.

Ordered from the US. They delivered to our location with no issues. Had a problem with the scooter which they resolved timely. Would recommend.

Excellent service from this company. Prompt delivery of knee walker the day after I ordered it. I had originally thought I'd manage with just crutches after my surgery for a broken ankle but as it turned out, the knee walker gave me so much more independence around the house and garden in the 4 weeks that I had it. There was also the option to extend for longer than the original rental period if needed. I would absolutely recommend this company.

Scooter was delivered to hotel without any problems and picked up at a different hotel problem free. Life saving device while traveling in Ireland and Scotland. Lots of cobble stones in these countries but it got me around easily. Would recommend to anyone with mobility issues. Lovely company.

We had a great experience renting a mobility scooter from Mobility Direct! I connected with the company by email, set up all the details, and that was it. So easy. Martin was very helpful in making the arrangements. Thomaz, the delivery driver, was terrific, showing us how to breakdown the scooter and reassemble it. I would definitely use Mobility

Had a great experience . The scooter was at the hotel when we arrive and they picked it up after . What a great experience . Highly recommend. The scooter gave my mom the freedom to tour the whole city while I walked along with her !!! It was perfection !!!

Excellent customer service, product and delivery/collection

I was put in contact with mobility direct by a friend who had used them so they came well recommended. I contacted them at 6pm on a Sunday evening and my mobility scooter was with me early the following morning. A demonstration on how to use it and how to fold it down was expertly carried out and the scooter was adjusted for my height. I hired it for 4 weeks and was assured there would be no problem to extend that at any time. Scooter was collected promptly when I no longer needed. The experience was a game changer in my mobility indoors.

Great service and products. The knee rover I ordered had great big tyres that allowed me to move about while I recovered from surgery. I needed the product for a little longer and this was not a problem. I would highly recommend this company.

It is my pleasure to give a 5 star review for this company. Tomasz delivered the knee scooter directly to my bedroom the day I got out of hospital and showed me how to work the scooter. He was so pleasant and trustworthy. During my time my scooter broke and I had a replacement delivered by the next day. Karen in the office was extremely prompt and helpful every time she called me and made all of the transactions extremely smooth. Every aspect of working with Martin and Mobility Direct was wonderful. Prompt responses, helpful guidance, and top-notch customer service throughout the process. Having the mobility scooter for my mom on our vacation made a huge difference and allowed her so much more independence and involvement in our visits to historical sites, family favorite gardens, and shopping outings. We could say yes to so many experiences!

I just bought a pride apex lite mobility scooter from Martin at mobility direct , and just wanted to say a huge thank you to Martin for going out of his way to help and accommodate me, I recently had leg surgery and I couldn't get around because I have cerebral palsy where I could only use my left hand and Martin was extremely helpful. Because of my disability he went out of his way to give me an upgrade to a model where I could use a left hand excelerator, I highly recommend mobility direct, thanks again Martin.

I hired a mobility scooter from Mobility Direct for my son when travelling from Australia. Our experience with Martin was outstanding. He could not have been more helpful or accommodating. The scooter had been dropped off at our accomodation on our arrival and he even went so far as to meet us at the airport on a Sunday on our departure. Would absolutely recommend this company.

I am disabled and traveling from the U.S. to Ireland for my second visit, I was concerned about getting around while visiting friends. Martin was very easy to work with in making the arrangements via e-mail. Excellent service meeting me at the airport and going over the scooter, then meeting me again to return it. Very reasonably priced for the week I needed it. Scooter easily disassembled to fit in the boot of any taxi. I was able to do so much more on this visit because of the scooter. Highly recommend this company!

Scooter worked good. Long battery life. It helped out tremendously.

Mobility Direct set up an airbed incorrectly and it was faulty. Martin pressured my elderly father into agreeing to pay €200 to rectify the problem, after paying €2600 the previous day. When I rang and told him I’d be taking legal action if necessary, he snapped that he doesn’t respond to threats and said he’d be turning around, thus leaving my father with no bed to sleep on. I’d recommend not dealing with any company with this level of moral compass. MobilityDirect are fine unless there’s a problem.

When I arrived to see what my father had gotten from Mobility Direct, I realised the problem.

It was a secondhand bed, and presumably secondhand mattress. The mattress was also of very poor quality; it wasn’t a proper air mattress, but half foam and half air. It’s for this reason that it was leaking (which is what the problem was).

Mobility Direct’s Google Reviews fooled me.

Martin wasn’t pulling the wool over my eyes by pawning off secondhand goods as new.

To his credit he promptly refunded me, but that was once I threatened him with dealing with this in my professional capacity.

It seems to me that Martin’s success is founded on the exploitation of credulous elderly, and like every cheat, became instantly hostile when challenged.

I’d recommend sticking with the proper accredited companies like HC21 (O Flynn) or any other reputable company as I did in the end.

We needed to rent a bed & a mobile hoist at very short notice as we had been let down by another company… Martin came to our rescue & sorted everything. We were really impressed with Martin & the company. Great service!

I would like to thank Martin for going above and beyond with all his help and advice prior to my trip to Dublin. The scooter was waiting for me at the hotel when we arrived and enabled me to go into various places. I would highly recommend this company.
