So far so good
So far so good. Windows and the door arrived on time and the spec looks pretty good. I messed up the ordering slightly and didn't get matching handles, but that's on me. I've fitted one window and it looks good. At the moment I'd highly recommend.

Very good service
Very good service, price and delivery.
I was unsure about placing an online order for such a product but it was easy and with a quick phone call to confirm everything it was an easy process. Emails and messages were received to keep me updated. Items arrived on the given date along with the delivery driver calling me.
The product was superb. No damage or anything.
Overall a superb service.
Highly recommended.

Reasonably priced with excellent quality.
Reasonably priced with excellent quality windows and doors. Great selection of finishes. I had a self built pagoda which we decided to glaze after 10 years.
Unfortunately it was never meant to have windows and I had great difficulty in trying to source windows I could use. Being able to measure and obtain custom made panels, windows and doors made the job a lot easier.
The result is fantastic. Well worth the money.

After sales service, if there's a problem
I've made 2 purchases with Modern Upvc windows.
First £1780 for a door and 2 windows in anthracite grey for our new porch. This order was fine.
Second order was £2160 for French doors and windows for our new loft conversion.
Windows are fine but we had an issue with the French doors requiring my builder to spend quite a bit of time problem solving and then rectifying the problem.
Lots of emails and phone calls to discuss this.
"you should've checked the doors and windows before fitting them so we could return the faulty item"
This is not realistically possible as the problem was subtle and only apparent once in situ.
I have been offered money back BUT only as a discount off a future order.
I feel I should've been offered money back as a partial refund for my builders time, which I have had to obviously pay for and which took my builder away from progressing with the loft conversion.
I feel after sales customer service could've been better.
I had planned on buying more windows but I might've wanted to shop around for them and now I feel I have to buy from these guys now to realise the costs I have incurred, through no fault of my own.
So I would recommend asking before you buy, what is the situation if the goods you receive are faulty ?

We’re sorry that you experienced an issue with the French doors and appreciate the frustration and inconvenience this caused. As a supply-only company, our terms and conditions ask that all products are fully checked before installation and that any suspected faults are reported to us prior to fitting. This is because, while we can investigate and resolve issues with the products we supply, unfortunately we’re unable to contribute towards third-party fitting or remedial labour costs. It is also very tricky to resolve issues once items are fitted.
We do appreciate that some issues can be more difficult to identify than others, and we’re sorry that you feel our after-sales service could have been better on this occasion. We did want to recognise the inconvenience caused, which is why a goodwill discount towards a future order was offered.
We appreciate both your previous orders and your honest feedback, and we hope the completed loft conversion looks fantastic.

No quality Assurance
I ordered one window. Original delivery had no opening pane, despite ordered. Glass was for sized for the opening pane. No Quality Assurance - order was not checked before sent out. It would be obvious to anyone order was wrong and inconsistent- parts did not fit together.
On positive side they sent correct window but took a further week.

What a fantastic company I brought a front door of them 2 years ago had an issue with the latch stopped working.there customer service was wonderful called them on a Saturday emailed all the details and Tuesday had a reply and new part sent to me and arrived on the Friday.would recommend this company to anyone from when I ordered my front door they kept me informed on delivery which arrived on time and dealt with my problem within days,everyone I spoke or emailed with were polite helpful and quick to resolve my issue
