Worst Online Purchase Experience Ever

This was by far the worst online purchase experience I’ve ever had.

I have a brand new 2025 Ram 3500 dually, purchased in December. Because it’s under warranty, I decided to buy original Mopar parts to avoid any issues. Normally, I buy everything on Amazon because it’s fast and reliable, but these parts weren’t available there—so I ordered directly from the Mopar website for the first time, paying almost 3 times more than a good aftermarket filter.

That’s when the nightmare started.

After entering my credit card, I was redirected to Tasca in Rhode Island. My card was charged immediately, and the order stayed in “processing” for over a week—despite paying for the most expensive express shipping (2 days).

I started calling Tasca in RI, and every time I was redirected to the online parts department—no one ever answered. I left multiple messages for days with no response.

Finally, I called again and asked to speak to the general manager. That’s the only reason I got a callback. He “resolved” the issue, but then I was told the fuel filter hadn’t even arrived yet—after almost two weeks. That’s unacceptable.

After more waiting, they finally shipped it—but then another issue: FedEx required a signature. Like most people, no one is home between 9 AM and 3 PM because we’re working. The driver attempted delivery twice with no exact delivery time, leaving notes instead.

Then began another long process of tracking the package and spending hours on the phone just to arrange a pickup.

Meanwhile, my truck went overdue for its oil change waiting for these parts.

Overall, this was an extremely frustrating, time-consuming, and disappointing experience. I expected much better from Mopar.

Incomplete order received - order #242339 OCt 30th 2025

This what happened when I started contacting customer service by email starting on 11/09. Order placed October 30th. I never could find a phone number. Missing part was mopar p/n68297542 (bumper stabilizer - a $9 part!) and listed on parts list for jeep wrangler swing gate reinforcement p/n 82215356AC.

Received order # 242339. It only came with one (1) bumper (68297542AA - see attached picture). The order paid for two (2) bumpers.
Also missing without explanation: M10 retention washer (yellow) 4ea & M8 retention washer (pink) 4ea. All previously paid for

Can you please send the above missing parts paid for on this order?

Never heard back. Nothing. Contacted customer service renee 11/09, Andrew D. 11/10, Luisa 11/11, and Luisa again on 11/12/ . No reply, ever. Source your MOPAR parts somewhere else. Many CDJR dealers are on ebay.

UPDATE 11/21/25: Found out that this seller is an ACTUAL CDJR Dealer called St Louis CDJR at 314-373-7529. After this research, I called and tried to talk to the digital sales manager (Todd) who was busy so I was transferred to Renee once again. She told me the part was not available, but I already bought one at a CDJR dealer in Florida. So when that didn'twork she then issues me a return claiming that p/n 68413358 does not fit my vin (false). When I corrected her and told her I have the installation sheet for model year 2018-2024 and it does in fact fit as it is already on the vehicle, she then told me that a credit had been issued (false), or was going to be issued. I told her to keep my $9and have lunch on me, but I am giving customer feedback that their system of customer service is horrible, and they should withdraw from being a digital seller. Remember, I ordered this for a project on 10/29/25!! So, beware and find another seller who values quality and customer service. I would understand if they had to buy the stupid $9 bumper from another dealer and I would have gladly covered any additional cost, but the 3 weeks of ghosting without an acknowledgement that I was shipped an incomplete order is terrible. BTW: The enclosed packing slip says that 2 (two) bumpers were shipped, but only one was in the box. Delayed project for almost a month! Buy here at your own risk!

No parts in stock - take forever to get

I ordered O2 sensors that their website said would ARRIVE in 3-5 business days. A week later I received an email saying they placed an order with their distributor to "pull the parts from stock." They have NO parts in stock and don't order them from MOPAR until after they get your money. If you're not in a hurry it may not matter to you, but they lie about having them in stock, lie about when you'll receive them. I will not buy from them again.

This company HAS to be a scam

This company HAS to be a scam. BEWARE!!!! I ordered a simple part (seatbelt extender, as my seatbelt wasn't working). Quickly, the money was taken from my CC; it is now a month later and I've sent 3 emails, left phone messages (they say they will call you back same day, or next business day), and engaged in live chat: NOTHING!!! Talk about a rip-off scam organization. Pathetic.

Rusted Parts!!

They shipped me only 1 out of the two rotors I paid for and then the 2nd one they sent me a couple weeks later was severely rusted!! Horrible website, but somewhere else!!

Human support was hard to reach but they're legit

Not a scam, just an online-only storefront run by the dealership "All Star DCJR". They do try to use AI chat bots to avoid support duties, so call the dealership directly if you have any issues. When I did have an issue and called them, they did end up resolving it.

Do Not Order. No parts in stock. No customer service number. Just a chat program with someone in China responding. DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT OREDER. I hate scammers and this site looks legit and I don’t want you feeling as dumb as I feel.

Lies lies lies

Lies lies lies. Don’t even have item in stock. They sell from retail dealers not their own warehouse. They won’t ship when they say and won’t tell you when it’s going to ship. This site is a scam. Do not buy. Nothing but a few people sitting in a rented office with nothing to sell, then take your work order and send to local dealers for shipment.

Their website says parts are in stock...NOT

The website says parts are IN STOCK, but they're NOT. Why is this so difficult? If they can't keep on top of their inventory, they won't be getting my business. My Jeep had to sit in the garage for nearly a month waiting for 2 parts to arrive. If I had known I had to wait a month, I would have paid an extra $20 and bought from my local dealer. Very annoying. I'll just shop elsewhere from now on.

One star is the lowest you can choose…

One star is the lowest you can choose on here but this company deserves no stars. I ordered from them 4 times and each time them managed to drop the ball it up. They either lied about the part being in stock or sent me the wrong part. I'm currently waiting on a part that was supposed to be in stock mid November and cant request my money back because they cant find my order. If you need parts for your vehicle i would highly suggested using anyone else if you want save yourself time and headache this company causes.

Ordered 2 rear seat heater switches and…

Ordered 2 rear seat heater switches and they only put 1 in the box mailed to me. I have called more than once and keep getting the run around trying to get what I purchased. The website shows 160 of the part in stock but I was told that they have to locate a vendor that has one. Don't waste your time and money if you can help it.

I was not sent the part that was…

I was not sent the part that was ordered. I've sent two return tickets and two emails trying to get the part returned but the company does not reply.

I ordered a seat adjustment motor for 2011 Chrysler 200. These are all the same, and were clearly shown in the drawings on the site.
The part that arrived is not even close to the correct size. I cannot figure out what car this would go to.

Trying to find correct superseded part #'s

I purchased a new upper and lower steering shaft and upon arrival the two didn't work together. I reached out to MYMOPARPARTS.com and spoke with Cydne O. and we spent 40 mins on the phone going over all the superseded part #'s for the intermediate upper, she took the time and put in the effort to guide me to the correct one, I really appreciate the effort. She could have just said this part # will work and moved on from me to the next. MYMOPARPARTS.com has been added to my internet favorites. Thanks Cydne O.

They got me

Placed an order on 6/14/23 for a ground strap. After two weeks I started checking the status of the order and each time it was pending. Checked again 7/3/23 and got a no record of E-Mail address and order number. Tried to E-Mail them to see what the issue was with no response, multiple phone calls with no response. Seeing as time is money I officially give up. They can keep the $31.50 and I will never use this site again. Wonder if its even a legitimate site. If you're reading this heed my warning. It takes alot to get such a low rating from so many people and they have succeeded in that at least. Wish I would have seen all of the criticle reviews prior to placing my order.

Overnight shipping and didnt ship for a week

Ordered two item needed as a rush and paid for overnight shipping. After two days and the item had not shipped I used the contact me, which is a text service. I received a response the following day, however it did not answer any of my questions only what was my order number, which you input at the time of the message. After a lack of response once supplying my order number I sent an additional message asking when the item would ship, which no response again. After paying for overnight shipping I received my item 6 days later and inquiring about a shipping refund again absolutely no response.

Zero updates and no part

Yup, avoid at all costs. Forgot to look up reviews before ordering part that was supposed to be in stock. After 2 weeks of waiting and no update or contact after i sent emails i finally found their phone number and canceled the order. No excuses, no second attempt just canceled and will never order from them again.
