This is a company worthy of a 5* review. I was very impressed that they refunded my payment in full without my even having to ask. The company specialises in wooden window repairs and mine was an aluminium one which uses a different mechanism. There was no charge for the engineer's visit and they refunded my money promptly. Thank you Mortice and Green for your great customer service!

We manufacture and repair traditional timber windows and doors, the job was booked over the phone and paid in advance as the office was closed at the weekend. as soon as we arrived, we knew it was not the type of window we specialise in so issued an immediate refund as is our standard practise. I had a wooden sash and casement window both of which were in a bad state. Mortice and Green were by far the easiest to communicate with of the companies we reached out to, and when they came to do the repairs knew exactly what they needed to do, very prompt and tidy.

Prompt and efficient. The fitters did a great job and tidied up afterwards. Had contacted lots of companies and Mortice were definitely the most efficient and prompt in replying. Would definitely recommend

New sash cords from Mortice and Green…
Christopher from Mortice and Green arrived on time to put new sash cords in my window. He brought his own ground sheet, kept everything clean and tidy, and I think he was done in half an hour. He showed me how to take care of the cords by opening the window evenly. I'm very grateful.

The quality of the new window panels you have supplied is second to none. They should last for a hundred years if properly looked after. Your workmen were efficient, courteous, swift in completing the job, and cleaned up thoroughly afterwards. I have no hesitation in recommending your company to other prospective customers.

Not only were the team polite and friendly but they were so tidy (which I have not experienced from any work in this house before)! I am also so impressed with he results as the increase in temperature in both rooms was instant. They repaired 4 windows in 3 days

As per the quote that we provided you with prior to you booking us to come and as per our publicly available price list, we do charge £250 to replace sash cords, yes you are correct.
1 hour driving to a job, 30 minutes to complete and then 1 hour driving to another job = 2.5 hours - quite a reasonably priced service.
You received a quote, accepted the quote, the price is a set fee and includes vat.
We are highly skilled at what we do, highly skilled means very fast and efficient. The work done was exactly what you requested, it was done to a good standard and you paid the price quoted prior to booking. Most of our customers are very pleased with just how quick we can complete work. We are very quick at what we do because we are very good at what we do.

Great job at a competitive price
We live in a typical London terraced street with very old wooden sash windows that were starting to leak. Rather than replace entirely we got several quotes regarding window repair. Mortice and Green were one of the only suppliers that offered window repair as well as the associated masonry and painting work. They were also competitive on price. The job was finished on Saturday and we couldn't be happier. Throughout the process, they kept us informed, were easy to communicate with and have done a great job. Would recommend.
