This is the worst company I have ever dealt with.
I needed a parcel to be sent from the UK to Australia. Paid £196 and it didn’t arrived in the scheduled time.
After months of emails, broken promises and waisted time, I did my own investigations and it turns out MPD owed money to the courier company that was actually delivering my parcel and was holding my parcel ‘hostage’ until MPD paid up.
After 4 months, I miraculously got my parcel back and used DHL which delivered to Australia within a week.
No sign of any refund from MPD and they have ignored my emails ever since - Disgusting service.
Trading Standards and Citizens Advice have been notified. Just reading other reviews and websites, MPD is very well known to them both.
Footnote: This is NOT the same directorship that founded the company. The original founder/directors left a year or so ago.
I booked a delivery on 26th October
I booked a delivery on 26th October. It still hasn't arrived on 22nd November. They have refunded my delivery after having sent 7 emails and a letter but won't refund the amount insured as they're saying the item isn't lost. This was an ebay sale so I have obviously had to refund the seller. They rarely respond to emails and haven't responded to the letter.
I strongly suggest you don't use this company.

The prices are extreemly reasonable, the service was just excellent, the collection driver calling with updates, and then a faultless delivery.

Just shocking
Just shocking. Placed an original order for pick-up, due to a software 'glitch' no labels were produced and the courier refused pick-up, rescheduled the delivery, asked for labels which were sent manually, stuck the labels on and received a cancellation I did not request (no refund) a few hours later which apparently cannot be reinstated. Worst customer service experience EVER.

Update: Better customer service today (27/10). Now re-scheduled for tomorrow. So the proof will be whether or not the parcel gets picked up.
Refund not paid after 3 weeks.
I've have cancelled my order and Issued a refund exactly 21 days ago. My mum reminded me if I got the money or not and due to being really busy I forgot that they actually didnt send the money yet.
They would ve just kept my money if I didnt realize, really unprofessional.
Pallet courier didn't bother to collect & this cost me a £475 sale.

Why bother promoting your company & then when I DO use you, your courier doesn't even bother to collect?
Pointless waste of time. I don't believe this company has any contact with couriers & is just a scam website to siphon money out of people.

Tried to book a collection but their payment system errored. I tried again - same issue. Closed the browser. On checking my bank, they had taken both payments, but no email to acknowledge it, no order number or reference. No phone number to call, slow to respond via online chat. Avoid.
Use royal mail…
Having needed to send a parcel I used this company who used DHL. DHL neither collected more delivered me parcel on time. They take no responsibility except to say"sorry". I have no explanation
Next time I will use royal mail. This experience was totally unacceptable. I really would like an explanation and proper apology. The system is designed so that no one in the end of responsible. Useless and I won't recommend.
Terrible service
Placed order for collection from Jersey 31/8. First it was booked using the wrong code (my problem, not!) then didn’t turn up, wanted to recollect when I wouldn’t be available so I cancelled order and a day after cancelling they sent me an email requesting collection address confirmation. 25/9 now and still not received refund despite being told on 11/9 that I would get it within 5 working days. they have not even acknowledged 2 emails I have sent and no phone number so only way to contact. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Had to cancel a collection and delivery - it was sorted in few minutes - was genuinely taken back by the speed and professionalism. keep it up and well done - its 5 stars from Tim
Very poor CS - avoid
Very poor. Booked and paid for delivery, with a label to be printed at my chosen drop off (I don't have a printer). Unable to print the label as no QR code, customer services said they don't provide QR codes so I can either print myself or get a refund. Utter waste of time and no interest in solving my problem. Avoid.

Using this company for the first time
Using this company for the first time. So far I have managed to get a parcel collected to go to the midlands with UPS 2 day delivery purchased through MPD.
My recipient has had a notification saying parcel delivery 1021-1421 today. I think that was meant to be my collection slot! Unless UPS are flogging it up the motorway right now. I tried to inform MPD via their online form but it crashes each time I send saying kaptcha failed (I just ticked the I am not a robot box which crashes). Maybe they don’t want clients to contact them??
This doesn’t fill me with confidence. I think I will try a company from trustpilot with a higher rating next time. This is not a stress free experience.
Follow up - the company apologised for the slow running of their website but it’s nearly three weeks later now! a they did carry out the delivery correctly and on time, well I should say UPS did. On the whole MPD have not given ,e a seamless stress free experience so I wouldn’t use them again.
Abysmal and Shambolic Avoid at all costs
I booked a collection with the post office via My Parcel Delivery. Please be aware the word "delivery" is not a statement of truth.
I received no email confirmation and later on phone contact was infomned there was a technical problem however my two identical parcels would be collected and yes they were, it was however a mistake not to insist that they sent me an official confirmation of my order and the insurance I paid for.
Despite having identical parcels going to the same address only one arrived, the second one was returned to us some weeks later (where had it been?) broken in two with half the contents missing and sealed with so much tape it took me two hours to unwrap it. This is what happened next:-
> I contacted my pacel delivery who acknowledged my complaint and told me to keep hold of the returned parcel until they could find out what had happened and that this would be managed by the courier. I had to write a description of what had happened and had to take and send photographs of the broken in two parcel, this took some time. (my precious time).
> I had to regularly contact my parcel delivery to find out what was happening - and actually nothing ever did happen, they never ever gave me any explanatiion of what had happened.
> at the end of a 28 day period no-one had contacted me, no-one came to inspect the parcel as was orginally suggested, no contact/apology on behalf of the courier, only a template letter apology from my parcel delivery
> at the end of 28 days on the 15th July 21 i asked for compensation and for the details of the insurance to be forwarded to me so i can reclaim not only the lost monies for the items we were returning that are now lost but paying for a totally useless sevice,
> Today on the 12th August (over one full month later!) I finally get an email saying my claim has been rejected with absolutely no reason whatsoever given for why the item was returned and broken in two and where my lost items are and who has them. Additionally the insurance is invalid again no reason given.
My strong advice to anyone reading this is:- do not touch this company in any circumstances, and if you must, do not even think of their totally uselss insurance (if it dosent cover any of this what exactly does it cover?). I've only given one star to allow me to register this information they do not deserve any stars and should not be trusted with the serious task of transporting peoples goods and communicating about the process.
Zero star not one
Zero star not one. I try to cancel my order and the website said call ous or use live chat. Ok, but where? Hopefully i will be get back my 87£!
Parcel not collected. No information
Terrible. Go direct to the courier. For a collection service they only give you the whole day with no indication of time. My parcel was never collected with no updates. Update - three days later I received an update and a refund
