My parcel went missing
My parcel went missing, no one has a clue and no one really to call about it. Spoke to them on their online chat, no help, they are apparently investigating but I have no information at all on what is actually happening. Poor customer service, will never ever use them again. Just hoping that I can somehow have my money back, thank goodness I insured the parcel!
NEVER AGAIN.
I cannot express how disappointed I am with the appalling service and attitude of these people. I expected a package to be delivered, but only after I had to follow up on their tracking system several times (I was never contacted) I established that it wasn't delivered resulting in them confessing that they lost the package. They only offered £5 plus reimbursement of the postage charge when they lost the package, clearly through their fault. They have just hidden behind their small print. It will also take 28 days for them to give me their pathetic contribution towards my loss. They said I should have paid extra to cover any possible loss or damage due to their inability to look after my package. Ridiculous.

Stick to going direct to your courier
Really poor service. Ordered a next day delivery, collection driver didn't turn up. Contacted MyParcelDelivery just to be told these times and dates are just guidelines and that next day doesn't mean next day it means when they get round to it. I paid over £20 for this shipment only to be completely let down and with no way of getting it sent as I was away the next day. My advice is stick to the actual delivery companies like UPS, Royal Mail, DPD as you at least have a direct relationship with them and can find out what is going on. My Parcel Delivery offered no help at all and took no responsibility whatsoever. Really poor service and will definitely not use ever again. AVOID!!
Useless. Paid for collection delivery. No collection
Paid for wheel to be collected on saturday for collection on Monday. Monday goes no contact or collection, Tuesday goes no collection or contact. Contact support and they offer no explanation as to why it hasn't been collected just offer refund a day after it should have been collected. Ask if they are going to have collected it by end of the day Tuesday. They can't do it any day. So I have paid for a service which takes your money and doesn't do the service and then states it never planned to collect it. Last time using service.

I sent TV and computer screen from London to Spain since one month ago exactly the 24th of May 2021. Till now I didn’t receive my parcels. When I contact the support team everyone say something, one say I need to wait 15 working day, another one say you need to wait 8 working days. At the end they told the parcels was returned to the sender. I told them how the parcels can returned to me and I’m not leaving in that address anymore I left the Uk since 29th of May the fly ticket is the proof and the end tenancy of my flat in London is the proof too.
I tracked the number they gave to me.
DPD is saying it’s received and signed by me with the photo of the person who got the parcel, i sent the photo of the lady taking the parcels.
The sender address is in the first floor and the photo shows the ground floor, the driver gave it to a wrong address and person.
Now they are not reply to my emails.
I’m very disappointed.

I would like to update my comment, we are today 14th of July and still did not get my parcels. My Parcel Delivery team are not helpful at all.

Overall a good experience
I had some problems with the tracking and I also never got a confirming email of my booking due to technical problems of the website. However, online support helped me instantly and everything worked out in the end. Thank you, Oly and Paige, for your assistance.

Booked for pick up next day delivery…
Booked for pick up next day delivery waited in all day virtually 7ft from door. I am not blind deaf or impaired in any way but the so called driver who came to pick up the parcel managed to drive into my property knock on the door and drive away bar sitting outside with the parcel I dont believe the so called driver capable of picking his nose.When I complained I was told maybe put a sign on the door to ring bell or knock (really) are they that dumb.

I’d give less stars folks. Please avoid. I have spent over £43 and my parcel still hasn’t been delivered a week on because it’s still in the international hub…. In the UK. How is that international- answers on a postcard please to them!! First the parcel doesn’t show on the tracking system.. because the system has glitches I was told . Ok. I agree that can happen. Now I’ve been told after chasing this issue again that it’s in an international hub- in the UK! Right! Run for the hills people!
a Belligerent, unhelpful, untrustworthy shambles.
I have used this service only once, and it was more than enough. Went with them because our consignment was outsized and they were a good price.
Our usual Hermes
roundsman arrived with other collections and deliveries- he checked his system and said "nothing booked for collection from here sorry". The collection didn't turn up by 6pm (as stated on the website), the help service said it's actually 9pm-so we waited more.
No collection by 9pm either, the help service becomes belligerent at this point stating that they "cannot guarantee a time or date or specifics of ANY service". (that's quite the disclaimer for a service giving a time and date for collection)
Next day I happen to notice our usual Hermes driver and ran up to catch him, and explain my plight in full this time. He told me that MyParcelDelivery.com:
1. lied when they said collections by Hermes are up to 9pm
2. Lied when they said someone was collecting on the day contracted
3. Lied when they said if not then, then the next day
He said literally NO ONE was coming for the parcel.
I'm a businessman and cost was a factor in booking them - but If they cannot be counted on to do as contracted, if they are liars, if your service cannot be assured on a time or date or specifics of ANY kind (again, quite the disclaimer), If to get a HOME COLLECTION you have to either actually drop it off yourself (as the help section actually suggested at one point) or run down the damned street to catch a kindly passing Hermes worker, then hope he takes pity on you?
What on Earth use are they?
I mean, we just put a rover on MARS, for the FOURTH time- this latest one HAS A HELICOPTER! but they can't book a parcel collection?

Thieves and Frauds
Paid £35 for Parcelforce Saturday 24 with collection. Waited in, checked once in morning with myparceldelivery as hadn't received confirmation email. Told everything is ok. Checked back in the evening and told actually Parcelforce not delivering at weekend and my order is still pending? All this done over live chat with a couldn't care less attitude. Refund will take 5 days apparently.
Terrible this time !
Have used many times and had no issues but this parcel was not delivered to the intended address.It was sent to their depot and signed for by them.All I get back is a standard reply from a guy called William.AWFUL customer service !!
Avoid
Avoid - Better to book directly with the courier. Hermes lost my parcel. If I had booked directly with Hermes I would have been given £20 compensation. Because i booked via myparcel I just got £5. A rip off - you have been warned.
Also I believe that they did not properly ask Hermes to look for the parcel. As they responded within an hour to say it was lost whereas they say a search may take a few days.
Of interest about 2 weeks later I was told my parcel had arrived. So Hermes had not lost it as My Parcel Delivery claimed. So I think this backs up my advice to avoid the intermediary company My Parcel Delivery and book straight with your chosen parcel company
Lost my parcel, no compensation
Lost my parcel, then didn't give any compensation for the parcel value, only offered 'as a gesture of goodwill' to refund the delivery cost! A 'gesture of goodwill' when they didn't deliver it. So I'm out of pocket several hundred pounds for the cost of the document that I was couriering, and have wasted several weeks.
Appalling service …
The service received from My Parcel Delivery has been appalling parcel was collected on 06/04/21 paid for a 24hour delivery and parcel still not received 15/04/21 no communication whatsoever when I made enquiries as to where parcel was have been fobbed off with delivery address query even though full post code was given
Collection unorganised with lack of communication
I ordered a collection for a specific day. Noone turned up nor did they tell me untill I contacted them at 7pm. They just told me they would come tomorrow which was no good and I managed to book for the next convenient day. They came the next day anyway and left a slip to say I had to start again :/ I have been told my Collection will be today I am still waiting and I have asked for some money back which we will see. Overal I won't be using this service again
