Terrible service, avoid at all costs. Awful communication, made everything as difficult as possible.

Avoid My Space Barcelona at all costs.

The only toilet in the apartment did not work properly, technicians came 5 times, and My Space Barcelona still refused to relocate us. We were 3 guests with 1 bathroom and ended up using a cafe across the street just to go to the toilet.

And then they had the nerve to imply that the issue was “incorrect use,” as if adults do not know how to use a toilet. That tells you exactly who you are dealing with: a company that would rather insult the guest than admit the apartment was not fit to stay in.

Their response was pure denial. Repeated failed repairs, no relocation, a filthy bathroom left behind, and then blame-shifting. Completely unacceptable.

If this is how My Space Barcelona handles a basic habitability issue, do not trust them with your stay.

We stayed in their apartment. When we arrived there was a big turd in the toilet. Turned out th etoilet didnt flush. We contacted them immediately and asked for help. But after the technicians had been here 5(!) times trying to fix the problem it was firmly established that it wasnt working and wasnt going to work. And yet they insisted that the toilet did in fact work and refused to relocate us. They are irrational and completely indifferent to customer experience. Avoid this company like the plague.

Had a great time here The place was comfortable and well prepared, and everything went smoothly from start to finish. Definitely considering another visit!

They dont care about the damage and how much they annoy their neighbours, imposisble to talk to them and get issues solved. It's simply a company that only cares about making money but doesn't care about doing the things right.

La experiencia muy chévere, la atención espectacular por parte de todo el grupo atentos en todo momento y sobre todo la comodidad es increible

Die Unterkunft ist natürlich in einer super Lage in der Innenstadt von Barcelona. Nur leider sah die Wohnung auf den Bildern doch viel besser aus als es dann in Wirklichkeit war. Doch schon sehr abgewohnt, eine der beiden Duschen war komplett defekt und auch sonst war die Wohnung eher in einem kläglichen Zustand. Aber die Leute im Büro waren nett und hilfreich. Am Ende kam dann aber der Hammer, denn wir mussten wochenlang unserer Kaution hinterherrennen um dann zum Schluss auch noch anwaltlich zu drohen. Erst dann hat sich etwas bewegt. Sehr schade denn Potential hat das Ganze aber ne Menge Geld wird eben auch so verdient. Sorry dass ich es nicht besser schreiben kann.

We are living in Barcelona for my health as the specialist I need is here.
So we rented an apartment from this company for initially 4 months. The information they wanted to justify the rental was pretty hefty ie note from doctor and a few other things.
Upon being approved, we moved into an apartment at Maria Cubi 175. First we were given an apartment on the first floor and a week later we got an apartment on second floor with elevator.
First impressions of apartment is dark, poorly light, bathroom smelled of a bit of mold and was a mosquito haven.
The bed had a ripped comforter, the kitchen was a bit difficult to cook in as the microwave as was very small. The air conditioning filter had not been changed or cleaned in a while so the air was terrible. The upstairs neighbors were extraordinariry loud and slammed doors at all hours. The elevator didn't always function.

This place I found a bit horrible as I paid a good deal of money for this place. The only thing that was good was the location.
As I am suffering from a disease that requires weekly treatment, and i found this apartment to be a bit depressing and not really conducive to healing.
So even though i digned a contract, i asked if I could be released for health reasons. They replied no.
I am not a person that breaks contracts normally but I am a 73 year old woman and have no intention of paying with my health.
I rented another apartment and explained why.
The company was totally unsympathetic to my cause that they are keeping the € 4000 deposit that I had to pay. As I suggested I was not going to pay another months rent.
They have refused to refund me any money.
In principle they are correct, but rules are made to be overturned and updated as the circumstances require.
As my age and health should be a consideration in the story.
I offered €1000 as compensation.

This company typifies the rental business in Barcelona.
Very disappointed experience!!!
And this experience isnt typical as I have rented elswhere and had no problems
