Customer Service is not very good

Read this before placing an order…..!
This was my first order (N098107000010) with The Natural Collection and it will be my last. I ordered a wok which arrived in 3 days, however, the wok was badly scratched. The scratches were clearly visible as soon as I removed the wok from the box, there is no way anyone packing this item could have missed them; two large scratches about 1-2 inches in length.

I read the returns form and followed the instructions note, it only tells you to call customer service if you are returning a large item eg furniture. So I filled in the returns form and went online to book and pay for a Royal Mail collection and return delivery, cost £6.71
Natural Collection will only refund me up to £5.00 for the return and this can be a credit, a voucher or a cheque refund which then has to be banked. They are telling me I should have called to arrange a free collection/return, note, their returns form does NOT state this, I have retained a copy for reference.

The two emails I have received from the Natural Collection customer service team have been rather rude and critical, they insist I should have called them to discuss however, the website says to call if returning large items and this is not a large item.

Most importantly, I have not received an apology.

I have been told all items are checked prior to dispatch and the manufacturer’s packaging often prevents this. I can assure you, there was no packaging covering up these scratches therefore I know this item was not checked prior to it being sent to me.

Given these facts, I am unable to recommend this online retailer especially when others go above and beyond to offer exemplary customer service.
I am now left wondering how long it will take them to refund me!

Thoroughly recommended

Natural Collection never fails to deliver a first rate service, lovely products, easy to use website and ordering process, with rapid delivery. I have come to depend on them for a wide range of items and always look forward to making up my next order. Thoroughly recommended!

Pleased with transaction

Pleased with transaction. Ordered hedgehog feeding bowl. Website was easy to use and price reasonable. Had slight delay in delivery by Hermes but still arrived within two working days (excl w/end). Product seems good quality & as described. Would buy from these again.

Excellent product, good quality and capacious storage bags. Sloth pattern very cute. Good value for money and arrived very promptly.

2 of the 3 items I ordered weren’t…

2 of the 3 items I ordered weren’t acceptable; one bottle of laundry detergent was just over half full! the other was an unacceptable substitute. They are being very slow to replace the short measure item (which fails to meet consumer regulations) and I can’t get any help with the product I didn’t order.

DO NOT buy from these people. They charged me for my order and they charged me again for someone else's. The amounts were not the same though the date was. When I phoned them to get a refund they gave no explanation and told me to email proof of the double charge. They ignored me, so after three working days I arranged a refund directly with the credit card company. I have still not received any explanation from Natural Collection for the phantom charge. They offered me £5 compensation which I have no intention of using.

Hi Susan, so sorry about this. It looks as though two orders have been placed and the pay button has been clicked on the first one, at this point it goes through our payment provider, this can take a few seconds to process. This will only happen once the pay button has been clicked.

After this we will receive a communication back from the payment provider and the order confirmation page will show up and your order will be logged and processed by our warehouse.
It looks as though a second order, the same but with one more item was placed a couple of hours after the first. This can happen if after the pay button has been clicked, the customer then clicks the back button (perhaps not realising it is now being processed) to add or remove items from the order. If the back button has been clicked and the payment page abandoned while still processing, the communication back from the payment provider will not match up.
The second order with the extra was fully processed and shipped. At the beginning of the month we review and clear through any erroneous payments, at this the payment was flagged (on 8th December) and refunded immediately.

Horrible system

when i received the confirmation email, i noticed the shipping address is incorrect (there was no confirmation page for billing/shipping address just the address for the card that i paid with). I emailed them right away with the email they provided, no answer so next morning I submitted the email again through their website.
Email support told me "It is no longer possible to modify an address once the order has been submitted for processing. You can refuse the delivery so it may be returned to Nature Collection for a full refund and submit a new order with the correct delivery address." Note that nothing in their policy says "once the order is processed, cannot be adjusted". Now I have to wait to get it sent to get sent to the address I didn't want when it should have been sent to the other address as a birthday gift.

Calling them didn't help either, they pretty much tell you to suck it up and pay the shipping cost to send it back. In her words, "even if you called me right after it happened, I won't be able to do anything about it".

I think you guys should come up with a better system like a live chat to catch orders that need to be adjusted because your products aren't cheap either.

Natural Collection - Rewards

Been shopping with Natural Collection for many years and very happy.

However, I do find one thing very annoying and that is the Rewards. Rewards only last for one month and after I have just purchased I am not ready to order again in just a month. All pressurised - if not used by certain date then lost. I accrue Rewards but usually lose them because I just cannot adhere to this very short time frame to use them in just one month! Such a shame because I would like to be able to use my Rewards. Now I just take no notice about rewards because I know I will most likely not be able to use them.

5 Star company. Always had quick deliveries & hassle free ordering . Excellent products can’t fault anything I’ve purchased over the years. Highly Recommended.

As impressed as ever.

We're always happy with our purchases from Natural Collection, so decided to go a little bigger this time, stocking up quite heavily on brown rice pasta and one or two other things. We were rewarded with ten pounds off the final bill, which was very nice, and the order arrived, in full, within just a couple of days. Once again, we were very impressed. Thank you!
