I decided to do this course to help me using my E-file. I wanted to ensure that I could use my E-file effectively without risk of damage to the nails. The course materials were clear and easy to follow and I was able to quickly build my confidence with the E-file. I am delighted to have passed the course and receive my certificate.

Really great courses, very informative. Can reach a member of the team quickly by their Facebook messenger and you get very prompt replies with great support.
Nothing is ever too much hassle for them, I thoroughly enjoyed all the courses I have done (manicure, acrylic, gel) and have passed all of them :)

Next step is a amazing online platform which has enabled me to go further and get actual qualifications. Everything is in one place and the quality of videos are amazing and the tutor support has helped me through many questions with helpful answers!

Absolutely horrible. I booked onto the Full Nail technician course pre lockdown, I was contacted just before lockdown that the course would have to be cancelled due to lack of staff and that I would be contacted again to reschedule.
Lockdown came into effect and understandable all Business were to be closed as stated by the government.
After lockdown I tried several times to rebook onto this course at the Kings cross branch, just a few days before the course I would get an email to say the course has been cancelled. I did this a few times and each time the same thing happened and the course was cancelled, not good especially if you have to book leave to attend these classes.
I called and sent Next step beauty emails requesting a refund as it had been 2years and I still hadn’t been able to book onto this course.
Since then they have tried to persuade me to join their online class which is not suitable for me as I learn best in a classroom environment.
I choose to attend the classroom classes because all the equipment was provided for you while you trained with NSB. However, with the online classes there are no materials provided yet the course is still the same price and considered “an upgrade”
Today the company emailed me stating that because I have accessed the online portal (without completing any courses) and signed the terms and agreement they will not issue me a refund.
Why must I be bullied into completing an online course when my learning boundaries do not allow me to do so?
Next step beauty are not able to offer the course I paid for and for the past 2years have cancelled my course several times.
Stay away from this company, I am truly disappointed and out of pocket for a qualification I will never get.

The training with Next Step Beauty has been really great. I was a little apprehensive at first about my courses being all online based as I have always done any training in a classroom, but now I have completed 3 courses I can definitely recommend this to others, and already have done! I understand there are classroom options available too. Any queries I have are responded to via email quickly and there is also a phone number you can use if you need to speak to someone. The training is thorough and I felt confident at the end of it to carry out the new procedures, and my Clients have all been very happy with their treatments. Would definitely recommend and I will be looking to book some more training with Next Step in the future.

I was impressed with the gel polish course I recently completed which covered both theory and practical. The Facebook group is very supportive and there is always someone willing to help and advise. I would definitely recommend this course.

This is an absolutely fabulous course and i cant praise it enough the tutor is awesome and gets back to you really quickly if you need help or guidance. I would 100% recommend this if your thinking of doing beauty course as its exceptional value and an amazing learning experience. Im enjoying every minute and will definitely be enrolling on more courses in the future.

I completed the waxing courses pretty quickly and easily, the courses are well constructed and easy to follow. Would definitely train through them again.

Great wee course I done on nails. Needed alot of support and guidance as first time starting out on doing nails. I done it from home online and I got reassured and supported really well. Everyone who supported me was happy to help me. I definitely recommend the course to others :)

I have been doing courses with next step in beauty for a few years now, the builder in the bottle is my 6th online course to be completed. I found the online course so easy to do as it works around my full-time job and can do it in my own time and don't feel rushed, the support group is so helpful as well. I would definitely recommend next step beauty and will definitely do more courses, in fact I'm just starting my next nail course and can't wait to add another certificate to my collection 🙂

The Microneedling course was very informative and upon completion I feel confident to use both the Derma roller method and Pen treatment. The course covers everything you need to know and the video tutorials are just as good as any classroom courses that I have previously attended. I am happily providing the microneedling treatment within my business and the online course allowed me to train immediately after purchase and as quickly as I wanted. I would 100% recommend this course.

Excellent training and excellent communication from start to finish, any problems and they answer in just a few minutes, easy access to the live training and make sure your happy with what you have learnt and happy with what you are doing, would definitely recommend this company, teaching staff are so nice especially Victoria, thank you.

This course was amazing to do, the online course was so easy to follow, there was no time limit on this course so as a single mother it was such a relief knowing I could take my time. The course wasn't difficult at all, all the help you needed was right there, you had guide books to read through with step by step instructions which was great to have at hand when doing assessments.

I don't know how they have so many good reviews here. I bought their nail course end of December and 2 weeks ago they cancelled my practical days. I asked for a refund straight away what they said I can get through the website of course there is no option for a refund there. I have been asked not to call them as they cannot help me over the phone. So I have been emailing with them but no luck. They now say I cant get a refund as I have accessed the online material what I did to be ready for my practical training. I will take them to court for sure like others did.... this is ridiculous!! What a waste of money!! How a company like this still exist????

This is an excellent website for all beauty courses. They are set out in stages and have all the information needed for you to pass.
I would highly recommend.

I tried next step beauty because I was interested in taking up a course with nails and holistic therapies etc. I looked at them as none of the in person college courses were suitable for me around my current job and my children. Next steps courses really are a “learn at your own pace course” there are no dead lines, no body harassing you for work or having this piece or work done by a certain date so it worked really well for me. There is a great Facebook support group and also the response time back from the team at NSB was always really quick so if you needed assistance it was never too long to wait.
Having successfully completed and passed 2 courses I went on to book another 2 that I am really looking forward to doing.
I would recommend Next Step Beauty to anyone.

Next steps is easy to use, has great support from both other users and trainers, the trainers are quick at replying if you email them.
I have done several courses from next steps now and use them daily on clients, you can get insurance to use as a business if you want too, which some online courses you can’t.
The videos show the process step by step and can watch them as much as you need too to gain confidence.
Uploading case studies for assessment is also easy, you don’t need to have a degree in using a computer which was perfect for me.

I found the course so helpful. The booklets gave lots of information as well as the tutorial videos which you can watch back at any time!

It's definitely still a learning curve after qualifying, especially as you learn virtually on this course. But I I so glad I took the leap and did the course!

After originally joining a different training school to re-start my career in the Beauty Industry, all I can say is I wish I'd found Next Step beauty first! They have been great with absolutely everything. The courses are fantastically set out and very easy to use. There is plenty of information and many training videos to help you learn. Any queries I've had were responded to very quickly by either my Tutor Victoria or by someone from the team. I will continue to enrol or many more courses with them in the future.
