Top class service when we needed it urgently.
We experienced a central heating boiler failure. Home Emergency were professional and appointed an engineer within the first hour. They attended next morning, identified the fault and repaired it providing a full explanation of what had gone wrong. Given our sad experiences in similar circumstances with other insurers in the past, especially using home emergency provision, we can only conclude that we are unlikely to ever insure our home and contents with anyone else except NFU Mutual.

Zero stars review regarding Recruitment I've started an ET1 to go to an employment tribunal regarding direct age discrimination by staff refusing to pass my complaint to the Hiring Manager as to why I've been declined. Also Breaches of FCA and ICO regarding transparency and Treating Customers Fairly. Confirmation received from Rebecca Sykes Talent Acquisition Manager that NFU Mutual are stopping people making a complaint
It's quite clear from the negative reviews on Trustpilot that the recruitment department are taking on the wrong staff. Staff have refused to contact the Hiring Manager as to why I was declined?
The decline email was more concerned about me going to HR regarding my Data Protection rather then the correct email address for me contacting the DPO directly that should be available to everybody. However only via letter on the post that is a breach of FCA regulation regarding Treating Customers Fairly and a Breach of ICO rules regarding transparency.
There wasn't any feedback regarding my application at all to get better for a job as there isn't any point of keep apply when the place refuse to deal with me respectful.
Not only that the decline email was more concerned about me setting up job alerts when I'm apply for a job now not in the future not only that I'm full aware how to do that therefore it was very belittling.
The emails from staff were very belittling refused to answer information
Now only sending letter's in the post is a direct breach of Treating customers fairly under the FCA regulation and the ICO regarding transparency.
Unfair borders, or artificial limits imposed by firms that create significant imbalances in rights, costs, or access to services, are considered a major breach of the Financial Conduct Authority’s (FCA) Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) principle.
TCF Outcome 6: "Consumers do not face unreasonable post-sale barriers imposed by firms to change product, switch provider, submit a claim, or make a complaint".
Articles 12, 13, and 14 are the primary GDPR articles regarding transparency, mandating that information about data processing be concise, intelligible, and provided in clear language.
Reply back to NFU Mutual
It's quite clear from a Sophia on Trustpilot pilot that she doesn't understand incuding not having any empathy at all therefore this is going all the way to an employment tribunal, FCA and ICO.
It's not a good morning as a formal complaint. Again it's not feedback as a complaint therefore her response is totally unacceptable, unprofessional, insensitive and doesn't show any empathy at all. That again breaches all FCA regulation incuding FCA.
Clearly I will not be emailing reviews email address as that should of bedn dealt with via the compliant process that hasn't been followed to a Hiring Manager to find out.

What Sophia hasn't understood
Now both are those are open questions that Emily Cummings, Antoniya Teneva and Rebecca Sykes don't understand as my complaint hasn't been dealt with not only that.
Full name incudes any middle name that some customers don't have therefore misleading information.
The response is grammatically incorrect as it's not "us" and it's not "could" as that is past tense therefore under regarding Sophia ability to do her correctly and what questions she a actually holds.

NFU went beyond normal expectations to help me settle a difficult claim. They were supportive, helpful and efficient.
Exceptional cover with exceptional service
I cannot say enough good things about NFU. This is insurance as it should be. They have helped me with a very complicated situation when my father died for which I am eternally grateful. They have been so good about it. Insurance isn’t just a commodity. There is a service element which is at least half the offering. And NFU deliver this in spades. I cannot recommend them too highly.
Unfair premium increase and poor service
After having a water leak in my kitchen, and calling NFU for advice on which supplier to use, they have now increased my premium because they opened a claim in order to provide advice.
I did NOT make a claim for money - the cost of repair was too small. They then increased my premium because they claimed I had opened a claim, even though I told them to close it.. So I will now get higher NFU premiums for the following years. When I complained about the premium increase, they didn't get back to me for over a month until I recontacted them. They have offered £300 compensation for their poor service, but refused to lower the premium, or remove the so-called claim from my record. So I now have a claim which other insurance policies might be impacted by, and the prospect of higher future premiums. Very poor service; which is unfortunate because the only justification for their expensive premiums is that they used to offer customer-focused service.

My first claim
I had occasion to make my first claim. I had no idea about the process and I felt guilty about causing the accident. Right from the start, they were reassuring, explained everything clearly, were professional yet friendly and helpful. Every step went well and I could always see what stage had been reached. It could not have been handled any better.
