I honestly don’t even know where to start, but if you’re thinking about buying a car, go and see Ash at NK Motors in Derby. He is absolutely incredible. From start to finish, the entire experience was flawless, and I genuinely feel like I’ve been looked after by the best in the business.
I had a very specific dream car in mind, and rather than me doing all the legwork, Ash did everything. He sourced the perfect car, handled every single detail, and even sorted out all the finance seamlessly. I didn’t have to stress or worry about a thing — he took care of it all, and he did it with absolute professionalism and expertise.

I took my Kia Sportage to NK Motors Derby, for its 4th year service, I found they were very professional and obliging. Will be using them again.
After looking for a new car for several months, I felt like it was never going to happen.
Until i walked into NK Motors, Chilwell.
No pushy, irritating salesmen surrounding us, no fake friendliness and obnoxious tone - just genuinely amazing people who were happy to help with anything.
We met Ben within a few minutes of walking onto the forecourt - and lets say the rest is history!
Despite the downpours of rain, Ben was happy to go through what we were looking for, what we wanted for a deal and then even told us about cars available so we didnt have to continue standing in the rain.
After finding a potential - the car was brought to the doors so we could test drive.
1 test drive later, fantastic deals - I picked up my new car today. And this was the best choice I have made in a long time. The entire process could not have been any easier and smoother.
Even when I got a call to say there was a slight issue (its a used car, so can happen) - the part was already on order and plan in place to repair before they even called me.
Overall - I am extremely pleased with my recent purchase and experience and would 100% recommend this team to anyone looking for a new or used car.

I tried to book an service using the main website for Kia- offering pick up and delivery....they not contacted or picked up the car. I find an email from a marked spam address that they are waiting to drop the car at the service. Not really good in communication that is fact. Sent a query for service trough NK motors website- no response. When I purchased the car I noticed they are under a European standard of quality but at least they communicate. Now it is looks like they don't, they just selling cars without proper CRM.
4 cars in 7 years and this is the last time I buy a car from then
Windscreen cracked within 10 minutes of leaving the showroom
Reported straight away still no response nearly 4 weeks later
I've had to arrange and pay myself to do it
Promised a service before purchase to be told its not due then today I received a message from the garage telling me my car is due a service
I have been taking my Kia's to the NK Motors Derby branch for the last 5 years. My Kia Rio developed an issue over the past two years where it was feeling 'lumpy' to drive especially in the mornings, I could barely get it up a hill even in first. I would put my foot to the floor, it barely moved and would then violently shoot forward when the injector kicked in. It eventually got worse and I felt it was unsafe even for my children to learn to drive it. I took it to NK Motors Derby, explained the symptoms and despite looking at it on two separate occasions, they were unable to diagnose or fix the issue. I took it to my local garage, they diagnosed and fixed it immediately.
I just spoke to customer services and they tried to defend that they were unable to find a fault to fix, despite me taking it in on two separate occasions (but my local garage could!).
This means that I have had to pay to repair an issue which should have been covered under the warranty.
How can you take a car in with such a bad problem and come away twice without it being diagnosed or fixed when the local garage found it immediately.
I won't be using the NK Motors Derby again.

Hardy Puri sold me a faulty car. Engine warning light came on within a mile of the dealership.
Simon Murdock (Dealer principle) refused to organise a repair under his own warranty, despite being obliged under law to do so at their cost.
Instead, I was told to take the car to another garage and claim under the warranty. The first three I took it to charged me between £60 and £145 for a 'diagnostic check', only to tell me they won't carry out the repair because NK Motor's warranty provider never pays up.
When I told Simon Murdock this, he encouraged me to fraudulently misuse my breakdown cover to claim the vehicle was not roadworthy when it was. He suggested I call a recovery truck (under my cover) and have it towed 500 miles back to the dealership. This is a misuse of the cover and risked me losing cover and any future cover! I have this all in a recorded phone call and emails from him.
Depsite telling him my rights to a repair at his cost, he persistently bullied and laughed at me on the phone before refusing to speak to me and threatening me with his 'legal team'.
I'm now left with a week-old car that has faults I can prove were there before I bought it. (Independent garages).
Legal action now started and Trading Standards contacted. Avoid this company like the plague! Contact me if you want the full details.
Simon was very helpful and friendly, solving an issue that another Kia dealership wasn’t able to help with.
On top of this he provided a courtesy car, so that I could get to the hospital with my dad.
On top of this everyone that I spoke to at the dealership couldn’t do enough to help.

If NK KIA Nottingham is a credible branch to what kia’s values, morals and representation are then I am truly appalled. You would think the customer service would be paramount to this trading company KIA, unfortunately this is not what we received. We were under the impression that for a huge very successful business that we would be given a fair, truthful and honest sale regarding a preowned car that was placed in KIA showroom (NK Kia Nottingham)
We had been looking for weeks for the right purchase when we came across a KIA Sportage on auto trader, it was advertised with all our desired spec, and a great family car for our young family. This had heated seats and heated steering wheel upon the advertisement. We clicked the link that took us to the kia dealership and again written in the spec was heated seats and heated steering wheel. Un be known to us the advertisement unfortunately was not true to its word. when dealing with a huge dealership why would we question the advertisements that are a mirror image on both professional/legal platforms.
My husband had gone to pick up the car a few hours drive, once there the deal was closed and the car signed for, he hadn’t drove half a mile when he noticed, the false advertisement on the car. The car advert included heated seats and heated steering wheel. Upon finding out the car wasn’t up to the spec we required or advertised, he returned the car within 10-minutes of leaving the dealership. where he was told “it’s your car now” he tried to reason with them, but to no avail. We didn’t want the car we were wrongfully sold. My husband left the car there as he wasn’t getting anywhere with the member off staff who had closed the sale.
Ourselves and the finance company cannot understand why they are stating “we cannot get our money back” we have had statements such as “the car is left at our own risk” I mean why can’t we return wrongfully advertised goods? I am willing to share the unbelievable correspondence that we have been sent, but I will give NK kia an opportunity first to resolve this issue before I do so. i.e advertisement change and emails! I do have all evidence needed!
I have never witnessed such rude arrogance of a company. The slogan “movement that inspires” surely starts with customer service. To which I have no inspiration to do a deal again with a Kia company. “Strive for perfection” is not what I’m seeing. There is no slander or malice here in this review, just an honest hard-working couple with a young family who was desperate for a family car!
In conclusion to this review, we are desperate for the right honest outcome that we deserve! Our full money back. Our youngest is just six-month-old, its hard being a full-time working family with two children without the stress and anxiety that this case is causing. I feel that this needs to be resolved asap in a professional way that I have not witnessed thus far from the NK KIA company. I would not recommend anybody to purchase a car from this dealership as the customer service has been horrifying.
