We visited the 02 Traffird centre today to swap a physical sim to an e sim and to start my wife telephone. The team in general and Ari and Minhaj in particular were extremely helpful, knowledgeable and made the task so easy. We are very grateful for their professionalism and courtesy

Suspected scam and discrimination
Here is a security edited version of our email to the regulator CISCAS:-
Good evening,
I hope you agree that it is important that service providers give priority to preventing customers being scammed rather than sales promotions to spend more on data storage!
My wife xxxxxxxxx is the main account holder with 02 and her telephone is xxxxxxxxx
xxxxxxxx, myself and her husband holds another phone on this account and it is xxxxxxxx
We recently contacted the 02 website directly because we each received a suspicious email stating that we had used about 8GB of our 10GB monthly data allowance and it seemed very excessive for a couple of pensioners!
Although we are no longer customers for Virgin Media services we were referred back to them to re-register before our problem could be dealt with. We did so,
When we eventually went through a very long and difficult security check we were offered no help in trying to find the reason for our apparently excessive data use but instead attempts were made to sell us additional data storage space.
The person answering dealing our enquiry confirmed our current charges were £26.06 for the main account holder and £12.96 - total £38.02 a month
We were both so concerned about the effect of exceeding our data allowance that we asked the situation was logged as a complaint and an email response provided to confirm the situation.
On checking what other service providers were charging we were disgusted that our loyalty to Virgin and is transfer of service to 02 had been exploited to provide outrageous non-competitive charges.
Tesco, who we use for motor and home insurance were able to quote £10 each per month for even more Gigabyte storage that the outrageous and overcomplicated 02 charges and support.
When today we tried to obtain PAC numbers we were faced with difficult and long security procedures and we confirmed that we wanted email confirmation of our complaints,
As this was not provided it could considerable time to satisfactorily complete an online complaint form. After hitting submit a message appeared that the completed form could not be received!
It seems that the system is orientated to putting the consumer in touch we "support" staff whose main objective is sales rather than helping customers.
The whole situation has caused considerable stress and worries
