I was contacted to get my Dr to fax a new script for my medicine. Its been 3 days, I cant sleep without it. Everyday I call, agent said I will sent a urgent request. No didn't happen.i thought this place for older people would be different, no they are not

I have watched their commercials and recently saw a patient who was mismanaged by their providers. Oak street commercials never indicate that this is a division of United healthcare insurance This is deceptive as their interest seems to be extracting as much from Medicare and converting patients to the AARP Medicare advantage which is owned by United Healthcare insurance

I went for an introduction appointment with NP Nancy , and I was impressed. I thought this was a good choice for GP care and I have specialized care at VCU. I called several months later for (non controlled) prescription renewal i was diaappointed Nancy had left the practice. I was told to come in to pick up my prescription renewal Arriving on time, I was forced to wait 90 minutes. Before I could receive my prescription, I was told by a nurse that I had to have a complete blood panel and many vaccinations I offered to pull-up (my chart) my blood results recently completed. The nurse said “it’s okay, Medicare always pays for these tests”.
I anticipate they’ll have a Medicate investigation soon

I’m just going to say the Oat Street in Portsmouth Va is the worse I take my 93 year old mother there well I was now have to find her new doctor I have had scheduling problems with them that wasn’t our fault they canceled an appointment when you on the way we dealt that then today got appointment that was scheduled for 11am but a notification came in and it said 11:30 pm so I went with the notification that was sent in to my phone from them (Oat Street) so when the doctor Dr.(Delvenia Kilyofas)comes out to talk she was very unprofessional as if I’m lying about the time I show them the notification and she is like well I will see her but the visit will be short and she said I mean very short so I told them she doesn’t have to see by her so me and my mother talk with the director she was nice but the issue was Not solved to schedule another appointment that is another whole month away my mom has blood pressure issues and other health issues so I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go there that is serious about your health because they don’t care

The prescriber turnover is unbelievable. I am on my third Doc in a year. Everyone quits. Hmmm.

We started going to Oak Street over a year ago. We were treated great liked our DR, got in promtly.
This year we called in for an appointment(we go in together to save time) and to wait a month to get it. When we got there had to wait 1/2 hour before checkin. Then they only would let me in not my wife, her appointment was an hour later. As they took me back I told my wife to come along the nurse said NO. She did relent but told my wife she was not allowed to say anything. At that point I told the nurse they had plenty of time we were leaving.

I hate calling for an appointment with my doctor or to ask her referrals. It is the worst setup I've ever seen and yes they are accentuating old medical records and they are frustrating me and they are difficult to work with and they are not following through on their work and I'm sitting here suffering because of this they need to be investigated for their process their patients should be able to get right through to the doctor's office not talk to five people and give them everything before you talk to the doctor's office.

I honestly don’t like their whole primary care doctor and their staff there at all ever now. I’m just done with them right now. I think that they just care about my medical insurance forever not really about me so if you have a chance and you go to the one in Warwick,RI please find another primary care provider and physican that really cares about you right now. They are terrible as well forever.

This has to be one of the worst medical experiences I've ever had. I was interested in becoming a patient but had some questions. I called the local clinic (Joliet/Essington Rd) with my questions. The phone representative was VERY rude towards me, kept interrupting me. I politely asked her to allow me to finish my question. She apparently didn't like that & hung up on me. This is a far cry from the image their TV commercials represent. On top of all that, I have made multiple attempts to get in touch with their patient relations department. I have been bounced around from person to person. I have had no one from Oak Street health even attempt to address this situation with me

Several issues - from the Streamwood, IL location. The provider recommended Hep B series (3) vaccinations, which are staggered. Had 2 the 3rd one - they called to cancel my appt as there wasn’t a tech in the office that particular day. Didn’t need a tech - a MA is qualified to give vaccines. Tried to get it done at my pharmacy - they discovered OSH hadn’t entered the vaccine records (as required) so they could give me the 3rd vaccine with the correct manufacturer’s dose as recommended. Got this resolved by going to OSH & getting my medical records.

Next up my Medicare Advantage insurance does not bill me for office visits to my PPO…ever, as it’s part of my plan. Apparently OSH thinks patients are uninformed and they billed me for two office visits, one was suppose to be my annual checkup…which they made it a regular visit. And they continue to bill me for the two visits. I filed a grievance with my insurance and I am 100% correct but OSH continues to bill me as if they were a specialist office where I do pay a co-pay for the one specialist I see for a specific diagnosis that a General Practitioner doesn’t treat.

I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau to make sure OSH doesn’t get away with overcharging patients. This is clear Medicare fraud or a very feeble attempt at Medicare fraud. I spent 15 years in Healthcare IT and trained & supported hundreds of medical staff in EHR (patient charts), billing processes and more. I’ve spotted fraud before. Billing patients for services Medicare reduced because of their contracts is highly frowned upon. I just hope patients pay close attention but fear because they provide services to an older group of patients - many pay their bill without verification.

I have switched primary providers as I wouldn’t take my pets to OSH for treatment.

I made an appointment with Oak Street Health as I am looking for a primary health care provider. This was by far the worst medical experience I have ever had. The PA was cantankerous, extremely condescending, and basically scolded and criticized me for everything I am doing to maintain my health to this point in my life. This was not a conversation with a medical provider, it was a lecture with a very condescending attitude.

Wrong appointment and I really needed to see a dr. Unorganized administration. A month to get an appointment in caring no follow up ridiculous don't recommend...

Strongly Advise Against Applying: I would never recommend anyone work for this company, particularly the Durham, NC clinic. It is by far the worst professional environment I have ever experienced.
Toxic Management & Favoritism: Management is entirely incapable of separating personal friendships from professional boundaries. If you are not close friends with the supervisor, you are treated poorly. Company policies are applied inconsistently and only upheld for certain individuals.
Punished for Teamwork: There is zero collaboration. Asking a colleague for help results in them complaining to management, which leads to the supervisor reprimanding you simply for trying to communicate and do your job.
Zero Growth: There is absolutely no opportunity for career advancement or professional development within this clinic or the company as a whole.

Oakstreethealths-570 Little York, Houston, Tx. 77091 location has switched my brother(Charles Seals) and his wife (Christine Seals) medical records. They have made no efforts to correct this.
When I called today (06-25-26) to ask what was going to be done about this the person on the phone mentioned a new computer system and then hung up.
From what I (Cynthia Green
-sister of Charles) have found out this is a usual occurrence that should be rectified ASAP in order to avoid more legal actions that this company doesn't need, it would be in their best interest to take this seriously!
My brother is a veteran and this will be reported to the VA.

I like working on my health issues with Stephanie Moore. The problem is getting in to see her when I have a health issue. You call the administrative appointment scheduler and you rarely can get in for two or three weeks. Last time that person said if I needed care sooner I should go to an urgent care facility. Which under my insurance the copay is $130. Not sure of the exact date

Oak Street Health mostly concentrates on healthy patients. But when one of those patients get sick, they don't have same day appts available for a provider to review your needs. They rely on call centers and nurses to evaluate you. This is not what healthcare should be. Sure there are urgent care centers available but many times those providers are not in network with your insurance so therefore you have to pay large amounts of money out of pocket. Maybe we should send all those bills to Oak Street Health! Concerned for my health? Not Oak Steet Health!

Earliest appointment was a month out; scheduled it after three calls since they couldn’t seem to get straight who the provider was. Less than week before appointment, they called; provider now not available as scheduled; next appointment more than a month out. I gave up and found someone else to do my annual wellness physical. Wonder how many Oak Street patients die waiting to be seen? We are all geriatric!

My NP at Fountain/Pikes Peak was great. However this place has horrendous customer service. There were 11 telephone calls where they were to send a continuing GLP-! medication to an Eli Lilly pharmacy. They constantly lied and deflected. 2 weeks after i was promised that they were on it there is still nothing done. I would not send my cat there

This is the second time I tryed to get an appointment. The 1st time the ride never showed. I let it go. I have major health issues. All went well till I explained where I was to be picked up. Thou my addsress say King Russ Rd I live on Londenderry. Never have I been spoken to so rudely. I called back and they cancelled my appointment because they couldn't pick up at King Russ Rd. My explanation did no good. If that is there attitude I'm not going there and meanwhile I have no PCP. I am a senior on ssi

I made an appointment. When I showed up, they refused to see / treat me until I went through a 90 minute "get to know you". I wouldn't see a "doctor" until I made a separate appointment (only after completing the 90 minute introduction). I was told "Well, they will take your vitals while you are here today"
