What a great experience to find a…

What a great experience to find a company actually giving customer support at a level not found in the last decade or so.
I e-mailed last night with a query, they replied first thing this morning then phoned me followed by an other email with quote ! All before midday.
Obaby will be the first name that I think of in the future !

Absolutely appalling experience

Absolutely appalling experience with Obaby. If I could give zero stars I would!

After just 4 months of normal use, the crib I purchaesed for my son developed a fault with the locking mechanism, making it unsafe for my baby to sleep in. This is a product that is supposed to keep infants safe, so this is completely unacceptable.

I provided Obaby with video evidence clearly showing the fault, yet instead of taking responsibility, investigating the issue properly, or offering a refund or replacement, they simply blamed me and claimed I must have assembled it incorrectly. The crib had been assembled correctly and used without issue prior to this fault developing.

The way this safety concern has been handled is shocking. Rather than putting customer and baby safety first, Obaby chose to dismiss the problem and shift the blame onto the customer.

I have been left with an unsafe crib after only a few months of use and a company that refuses to stand behind its own product. I would strongly advise parents to think twice before purchasing from Obaby. If a product designed for a baby's safety fails, you should expect support—not excuses.

I have had to purchase another crib (different brand of course) which is totally unfair.

Excellent service

I ordered a cot bed from Argos, which was supposed to include a mattress. The cot bed arrived, but the mattress was missing. I contacted Argos, who then informed Obaby. A very pleasant lady from Obaby called me and explained that they had contacted the courier and asked me to allow an additional day for them to resolve the issue. She also mentioned that if the mattress was not delivered by the following day, they would send a replacement. I was pleased to receive the mattress the next day. Obaby was incredibly helpful and managed the situation promptly and efficiently.

Third time lucky !

Third time lucky !
Lovely Stamford mini cot/bed from Obaby online.Easy website to navigate and order online.one star deducted for dispatch / delivery process which needs to be looked at to see why mishaps with orders happen. Box 2 of cot not sent,support desk were quick and helpful and would send box 2. One base of drawer was sent instead of box2 ! Back on the phone with the very helpful Tammy & Vicky who did get my box 2 of cot delivered very quickly

Had an issue with my cot and needed a replacement part, I emailed them on bank holiday Monday had a reply by Tuesday asking me which part etc, by he Friday lunch time I had the spare part delivered, quick and super friendly service!

I rarely leave negative reviews

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel I have to share my experience.

I purchased a changing unit about a year ago, and the quality has been disappointing from the very beginning. All the drawers felt loose, especially the top drawer, which was shaking and unstable when pulled out. I contacted customer service around April last year to ask for advice, but never received any response.

Over time, the condition has only gotten worse. The top drawer track now frequently gets stuck, and parts of the unit are starting to fall apart. This is far below what I would expect in terms of durability.

What’s equally frustrating is the lack of customer support. Being ignored when raising an issue makes the situation even more disappointing.

If I had the choice again, I would not choose Obaby furniture.

Faulty parts constantly

Bad experience with the item bought it 2x and both of them came with a faulty part.
Another week to have my item in conditions once again.
Also there should be an inspection on the parts before being sent off had numerous items with hair stuck on them too.

We completely appreciate, however, that receiving a faulty part is not acceptable, and we sincerely hope the spare parts that have now been dispatched resolve the issue for you as quickly as possible.

Regarding the concern raised about hair on the products, all items are checked prior to dispatch and photographs are taken before sending. We have reviewed the images available to us and this was not visible at the time of packing, so unfortunately we are unable to comment further on this point.

Overall nice but Noisy headboards

The mini cot bed we purchased is a great fit for our room as we only had space for a mini bed. It looks lovely and my little one finds the mattress comfy. The only problem we have is the headboards are extremely noisy when my little one bangs into them in the night. It is like they are not slotted in correctly but when assembling other half said that they slot in and thats it. It does wake us up quite a bit in the night.

I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect…

I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect electric rocking chair, especially with my baby due next month, and I can honestly say this experience has made my year! I’ve really been hoping to find something comfortable and supportive for breastfeeding this time around, and Obaby has been absolutely amazing.
A huge thank you to Tammy and Sarah, who were beyond helpful from the moment I spoke to them. From start to finish, they have been outstanding with their communication and kindness. They were so patient, genuinely listened to exactly what I was looking for, and made me feel completely understood and supported throughout.
What really stood out was the time and effort they put into helping me find the best option - it never felt rushed, and I always felt like I was in good hands.
I’m honestly so grateful for everything they’ve done for me. Their care and dedication made such a difference during a really important time in my life, and I don’t think they even realise how much their help meant. I couldn’t recommend them more highly!

Not Sure If I should Return It and the Cot.

Purchased the Changing Unit and the Cot but not happy with the changing unit at all.
Fasteners are the worst quality I have ever used putting flat pack furniture together over many years. I have never had one of these fasteners fail but I had several just shatter as they are so brittle.
The draws are not smooth to open at all and the top has what looks like a screw protruding but there is now screw in the location. I had to travel to collect a pack of 50 Cam Lock fasteners from Screwfix to replace them all. Not a single one failed from Screwfix. The draws just catch on something so are not smooth running at all but I cannot work out what.
May return it if my son is not happy with it as its a present as they are expecting their 1st child. Definitely think we are returning the Cot.

Creating special memories

I absolutely love the Obaby mini cot and the boucle chair. I bought these initially at a baby show. They were easy to build and the delivery was great - went without a hitch. And the customer service was great. Since then, I have ordered Obaby via Argos. Quick delivery and although a box was missing, Obaby were so quick to help and have resolved the issue. My baby loves her cot and mattress and has slept so well with the transition into her own room. So much so that my in laws want to get the same cot and mattress and changing table for future visits to their house! Thank you for helping to make such precious memories with my daughter, especially rocking her to sleep in the boucle chair.

I did not place my order directly with…


I did not place my order directly with Oh Baby.

I ordered a wardrobe from Oliver’s Baby Care on 22 January and was repeatedly directed by them to contact Oh Baby regarding delivery.

When I contacted Oh Baby last week, I was told they had the order and that delivery should be by Friday.

When I called again today, I was then told they had no information about the order at all.

I was also advised to cancel my order with Oliver’s Baby Care and re-order directly with Oh Baby, which was not a realistic or workable solution.

As of 10 February, the wardrobe has still not been delivered. The baby has now been born and the nursery remains incomplete due to the lack of delivery and the conflicting information provided.

The absence of clear accountability and consistent communication caused significant and unnecessary stress. I would urge others to be cautious where responsibility between companies is unclear.

For clarity, your order was placed with the retailer, Oliver’s Baby Care, rather than directly with us at Obaby. As the retailer, they are responsible for managing the customer order, including providing delivery updates and communicating with you directly. While we do support our retail partners with fulfilment, we are limited in what information we can discuss with customers where the purchase agreement sits with the retailer, and we are also unable to comment on retailer arrangements directly.

We would also like to clarify that we did not advise cancelling your order; however, alternative purchasing options may have been discussed in the context of trying to help resolve the situation as quickly as possible.

We completely understand how frustrating conflicting information can be and sincerely apologise for any confusion caused. If there is anything further we can do to assist alongside your retailer, please do feel free to contact us directly.

Tremendous Customer Service

Their customer service is tremendous, best I've experienced in a very long time. Had a problem with the delivery company and when goods finally arrived they were damaged which I believe was by the delivery company. Obaby customer service is firstly real people, so refreshing and secondly truly professional and finally very pro-active. All resolved in 4 days, cant praise them enough especially Tammy.
