From October 30 to November 17, 2025, we traveled to Japan and South Korea, using Odynovo to book virtually everything for our private tours and first class hotel stays. We chose Odynovo after having done so last year for private tours in Vietnam, Cambodia, and Thailand. Last year’s trip was incredible. This is why we used Odynovo again. Queenie was our agent for both trips. Just as before, the entire planning process went well, as Queenie came up with an initial itinerary that was very nearly exactly what we hoped for. For both trips, after very little further input, we had the itinerary finalized.

We were very happy with all of the 5-star hotels. In Kyoto, we asked for a more intimate, boutique hotel. Queenie offered the Fufu Kyoto, which turned out to be, perhaps, our best hotel experience, ever! The private drivers and guides were prompt, kind, flexible, informative, and accommodating. Our guides were Motoki (Tokyo), Sunny (Kyoto & Osaka), Jiwan (Seoul), and Luke (Gyeongju & Busan). We were tremendously happy with all of them!

When we plan our next trip, we will be sure to contact Odynovo, again. Because we have been so happy with Queenie’s efficiency and knowledge, we have recommended her to several of our friends.

We have used Odynovo for trip planning for three trips, mostly to south and southeast Asia and have been extremely pleased with all aspects. Having traveled with Odynovo to Vietnam last year, and being extremely pleased with our experience, we reached out once again to Cathy Hou at Odynovo, who served us so well last year, to plan our trip to Cambodia and Thailand. And this trip did not disappoint. Cathy was very attentive to our needs and desires, and put together a wonderful itinerary for us. Our guides were extremely helpful and knowledgeable and our drivers safe and efficient in getting us to and fro. What most stood out to us in Vietnam and on this trip were the lodging arrangements made for us. All our accommodations were top-notch, 5-star hotels / resorts, which made for a most comfortable trip. The cost of the trip was amazingly inexpensive given the quality. My husband and I recently concluded a wonderful three-week trip to China. Our sincerest thanks go to our travel consultant, Tom Zhou, for his expert planning, and to all the dedicated guides and drivers who eagerly shared their knowledge and experiences with us.

I had originally booked this tour five years ago, having chosen Tom at Odynovo after reviewing five different China travel agencies. Tom has always been a pleasure to work with, and I was confident he would provide the best experience. Unfortunately we had to cancel the trip due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but Tom and Odynovo promptly refunded my deposit. This quick action was a welcome relief, especially hearing about the many problems others faced, and it solidified my decision to rebook with Odynovo, a choice that our actual trip strongly reinforced.

The whole team of guides was professional and knowledgeable, and each brought their own unique strengths that enhanced our experience:
*Rocky in Beijing found the best photo opportunities and took excellent pictures for us.
*Dary in Xi’an was very effective at educating us on the key Dynasties and their significant role in Xi'an's history.
*Sara in Zhangjiajie greeted us warmly with a big smile and her favorite snacks. She looked after us like family, skillfully guiding us away from crowds to good viewing spots, treating us to freshly made meat pies, and taking us to her favorite restaurants to enjoy delicious local dishes.
*Sophie met us after a long train ride to Guilin station with her freshly made Zongzi and moon cakes. Her currant cookies were a sweet farewell gift.
*Florence warmly welcomed us to Hangzhou. She was very adept at conveying the interesting history of the area and we thoroughly enjoyed the lunch she set-up for us with local specialties. We also appreciated her waiting at the busy station with us until our train was ready to board.
*Tina was all smiles and very patient, guiding us on our hike and overnight on Huangshan. She set a slow pace, appropriate for me and stayed close by, offering to take photos all along the way. She even gave my husband a nice baseball cap after he mentioned losing his.
*Our final guide was Alex in Shanghai. He was the most comfortable at conversing in English, which prompted nice discussions about everyday life during our lunch and walks.

All in all, a successful journey and I look forward to future trips with Tom Zhou’s assistance.

Once again, Eric Kong and Odynovo helped organize three perfect weeks in South America - highlights were our days at Machu Picchu and Rapa Nui. It was all quite exhausting as we were all over the map but it was more than we hoped and lived up to our expectations. We highly recommend Odynovo if you want a personalized curated vacation experience.

This was our second trip with Odynovo Tours. Last year we had a personal tour of Japan (Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka) and this year we had a personal tour of Taiwan. Both were outstanding. Out travel consultant, Cathy Hou, arranged both tours. She was very efficient, and offered many helpful tips. We plan to travel with Odynovo in the future as we know we are in good hands

We spent three days in Beijing using the visa-free stopover facility on our way to Tokyo. I found Odynovo online and was pleased with the service provided.
They set up a tour of Beijing and the Great Wall over three days. Everything worked as expected from the airport pick up to drop off and the hotel was good and centrally located. Guides were good and had a sound grasp of English.

We just finished a 17-day trip to Japan arranged by Odynovo. It was altogether an excellent experience. Lynn Liu, our travel consultant, was generous with her advice during our long planning phase and flexible as we learned more about Japan and requested itinerary and hotel changes. On arrival every arrangement Odynovo made was perfect. The excellent guides-- Ayumi Kyozuka, Yasuko Nagai , and especially Motoki Watanabe—were all knowledgeable, patient, and good company. The vans were super comfortable, and every arrangement happened exactly on time. Highest recommendation for Lynn, the guides, and Odynovo!

My guided tour of Beijing with Roland Guo was simply outstanding! From the moment we met him, Roland impressed us with his deep knowledge, professionalism, and genuine passion for sharing the history and culture of his city.

He guided me through Beijing’s most iconic landmarks — the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, the Temple of Heaven, and the Great Wall — all while weaving in historical insights, and little-known facts. Roland’s explanations were clear and engaging, and his ability to connect ancient history with modern China gave us a whole new appreciation for the city.

What truly set Roland apart was his warmth and attention to detail. He took care of every arrangement, anticipated our needs, and even helped us discover excellent local food spots along the way. His photography skills were a bonus — we left with beautiful pictures and unforgettable memories.

We had an epic 11-day trip around China, perfectly organized from start to finish. Our private van and knowledgeable local guides in each city made everything smooth and enjoyable. We visited Shanghai, Zhangjiajie, Xi’an, and Beijing — each destination filled with history, culture, and unforgettable experiences.

The whole journey felt safe, fun, and stress-free. It was such a treat to simply relax in the van, take a nap between destinations, and have every detail taken care of — one of the biggest advantages of joining a tour rather than planning everything yourself.

A special shout out to Bonnie in Shanghai, who was absolutely wonderful! She went above and beyond every single day, often spending over 12 hours with us, always caring, attentive, and making sure everyone was comfortable and happy.

Rocky and driver Zhang in Beijing were also fantastic. As a solo traveler out of my friends group, I especially appreciated Rocky’s help — from taking great photos to being supportive and attentive throughout the tour.

My family just finished an amazing 21-day tour of China, and we couldn't be happier with Odynovo. From the very first contact with our outstanding travel agent Joy, who always responded to my many requests as quickly as possible and adjusted the itinerary several times to account for our specific interests, to the very last train station drop-off, it was a perfectly planned and executed trip. Odynovo selected a delightfully enriching variety of activities for our private group, everything from must-see historical site visits and walks through breathtaking landscapes to personalized intimate experiences with locals (two highlights were a cooking class in local lady's home in Xi'an and a private fan-making class in a real fan artist's beautiful workshop in Yangshuo). We truly got a feel for Chinese culture and the special flavors of each of the many regions we visited. In addition, the logistics of the trip were coordinated so seamlessly that we hardly noticed all the work that must have gone into it. We had a different guide waiting for us in every city (Rooney in Shanghai, Kurt in Beijing, Shannon in Xi'an, Henry in Chengdu, Michelle in Zhangjiajie, and Heidi in Guilin). That meant they had specialized knowledge only a local would have, about local customs, culture, restaurants, shopping, shortcuts in busy areas, and everything in between--much better than traveling with the same guide around the whole country. Our guides were ALL exceptional, spoke great English, and were true teachers of Chinese history and culture. More importantly, they were warm, kind, patient, and friendly people who were passionate about their work, loved sharing their cities with us, and went out of their way to make our experience in China special. We never had to worry about anything. They were all so professional, detail-oriented and personable that we fully trusted them and their leadership; it's extremely easy to travel with that kind of support, especially in a country where very few people speak English. The drivers selected for our trip were also superb, always punctual, always helpful and friendly, and every one of their cars was spacious and comfortable for our group of three. We loved discovering China with Odynovo and can't wait to return one day and explore even more of this wondrous country's regions. One piece of advice I would offer to future groups is to do as we did and pay a little extra for the upgrade to first class on the trains (it's not a huge price difference and the comfort level is much higher). Also, do NOT purchase the hot food on the trains... After trying and enjoying all sorts of foods all over the country, the only issue we had was with the hot train food on the very last train. Finally, we opted to book the hotels ourselves, and we are glad we did. I'm sure Odynovo would also pick great hotels, but this way we had a little more control over the experiences we would have in our down time after the day's planned activities. With a little research and some sifting through reviews and ratings, locations, pictures, etc, you can find great affordable hotels on China's main hotel reservation app and even some western apps.

I would recommend this company without hesitation, especially the travel agent Joy and every guide chosen for our group. Just to wrap up, I'll mention one last example of their excellence... Before the trip, I told Joy one of our goals and priorities was to try local food at great local restaurants, where local people like to go, and not tourist traps. We were in China for three weeks, and at every stop our guides seemed to know that was our wish and made a point of taking us to eat at great local spots. A piece of information that could have easily been ignored or missed by another, less careful and attentive agent or company, became one of the themes of our trip and one of the reasons we have fallen in love with China.

We had a wonderful trip around China. It was a very well organized trip for 11 day tour. We had a private van and a different tour guide for each city. We visited Shanghai, Zhangjaijae, Xi'an and Beijing. The trip was full of history, rich in culture, very organized, very safe and fun. It was nice to relax on the van and take a nap on the way to the next destination too. Our favourite tour guide was Bonnie at Shanghai, she was wonderful and we felt very taken care of. Rocky and driver zhou from Beijing was also great, they were very attentative. Joy from Odynovo helped me plan the whole trip and was amazing from the beginning to the end. She was always checking up on us, before, during and after the trip. She made the whole process easy but taking care of everything, planning everything, booking everything, and preparing the many documents we need to get to China. Joy was incredible. All in all we had fantastic trip and I am so grateful.

Fantastic trip to china , organised by Nikki and Jake , absolute attention to detail,felt as if we had nothing to worry about and always had a contact no which is answered immediately.All guides excellent,17 days tour of china started in Beijing ended in Shanghai..china you must visit, amazing country very progressive,quiet in city as nearly all electric vehicles used ,crowds are noisy though 😀,amazing sites to see ...all in all a very memorable trip. I contacted Odynovo originally and Queenie Yang responded by asking what exactly our requirements were and built a holiday around this.
The trip we chose was India’s Golden Triangle, visiting Delhi, Agra and Jaipur.
Queenie was superb at making sure all arrangements were perfect. We were met at the airport by an Odynovo rep (Deependra) who escorted us to our hotel with our wonderful driver, Manoj, in Delhi and helped check us in. Manoj was our driver from airport pick-up until drop-off at the end at our airport hotel. At each of the three cities, we were met by a guide who led us through the sites. Sanjay was with us for the whole day in Delhi, taking us to Hindu temples, the Parliament, President’s Palace, Gate of India and into Old Delhi where he’d organised an included rickshaw ride.
Shiraz guided us through Agra where he expertly showed us the Taj Mahal, Red Fort and to Fatehpur Sikri. His knowledge and friendliness was excellent.
At Jaipur (our favourite city) we were taken around by Umaid.
Special thanks must be given to driver Manoj Chaurasiya who was absolutely brilliant and went the extra mile (literally) to make sure we had everything we needed. He was available to us until 9pm every night, although we didn’t often make use of this as we were tired after that day’s sightseeing, choosing to reman in the hotel of an evening.
The hotels selected by Queenie were all 5 star and were excellent. The price was extremely reasonable, allowing us to select our own flight arrangements separately.
I can’t recommend Odynovo highly enough.
