Excellent quality vintage plane just purchased.
Really good quality and service including answering email questions promptly and in detail.
Prompt delivery and very well packaged.

Items arrived very quickly and well packaged. The tools are of incredible quality and I expect a lifetime of use from them. Thank you.

Found exactly what I wanted. Order process was easy and communication was good. Delivery was efficient; item arrived in excellent condition and exactly as described. Would highly recommend.

Bought a small G. Boley Vice. Arrived in 11 days. Customs paperwork filled out perfectly by sender, no problems. Great quality, great service. Thank you.

Unbelievably quick and efficient service. Product arrived well packaged and in perfect condition.

Excellent service. Old wood plane purchased as a gift. Arrived in less than a week.
Emails responded to promptly. However, the advertised contact number on the Web page doesn't work...email contact only.

Beautiful nutcracker. Took about a week to come.

I had a number of old tools to sell, those of prime interest being traditional saws and hand planes, and contacted several websites plus one local business. Matt, the owner of Old Tools responded quickly with an offer that I was happy to accept. The tools were duly dispatched, Matt quickly confirmed they were as promised and transferred the agreed payment into my bank account without delay. Throughout he was quick and professional in all email correspondence and I was so pleased that I asked him if would like me write a review. So, if you have good quality old tools to sell then OldTools.co.uk is the place for you.

After ordering an item I realised that I already own a similar item and so the following day informed the retailer who without any question or problem refunded all the money I had paid! Excellent customer services!

Very friendly and helpful people, and outstanding service. I received my tools the day after ordering them.

Exceptional service ! Oldtools.com.uk know their stuff and are very helpful . It’s so good to know these tools are being restored and reused . Highly recommend !!

I am disappointed with this site. and I have good reasons for this.
firstly, unfair treatment of the buyer who paid for the goods through Paypal. Complete silence and complete absence of a normal response, only after several long messages, something was answered. Complete absence of any reaction after full payment for the goods (record 71), and all this time I was waiting for the goods!
Secondly, complete ignorance of Paypal's rules, what is the delivery address and residence address and what it can be. This is very controversial when you consider that they use Paypal as a payment system on their website.
Thirdly, wasted time and wasted time on finding out their causes, if it can be called a "cause" !!
Fourth, there is absolutely no information on the limitation and refund. I have used this site once, and this was the last time, I will find something different, more responsible people who will inform the buyer and will not be silent. This is not serious. I wanted to sell some of my tools here, but I pass. After this experience, I will sell my tools to others.

Unbelievably fast delivery. Especially considering it’s Christmas. Item arrived as described and has me feeling all nostalgic

First time buying from Old Tools. I bought a superb, brand new augur bit that was carefully packed and shipped quickly. I really like the unusual stock Old Tools keeps and their website is a bit if a treasure trove if you’re into hand tools! I’d happily recommend this seller.

From start to finish ordering from Old Tools was brilliant. Lots of email chat to confirm exact details of the item then continued with information about despatch and anticipated delivery time. The item came extremely well packaged and arrived in perfect condition. I’m extremely pleased with my purchase and wouldn’t hesitate to use this supplier again

So pleased with my new (old) Stanley hand drill and bits. Great service, and item exactly as expected. Thank you!

Excellent service ! Good quality products, I’m very happy with my purchase.

Superb service and a speedy delivery time , they also give extremely useful advice on restoration of old tools !

Received my Stanley No7 plane. Wow! So impressed with condition of this "second hand tool" it's is way better than any new tool I've bought. The level of refurbishment is superb. Sole is straight as an arrow and the side are completely square. I will definitely buy from this company again and will tell all my freinds about this gem. Super quick delivery as well.

I sold a small collection of old hand planes to OldTools.

They were very prompt and clear with responses, they inspected the products on the same day they received them and got a cheque in the post that same day.

An excellent service that allowed me to sell some tools with no hassle at all.

Highly recommended
