Not sure about the quality for the price
I love the Omlet products. They look cool. However, they're not cheap and my experience is that they don't last that well. I bought a single tunnel system about 4 years ago. These retail at £95. The sliding door mechanism never worked well (didn't slide but could just about shut with force) and 4 years on the tunnel is really not useable because it's perished and is full of holes. I'm certain these products are designed to be left outside and I would expect, at the price paid that it would have lasted longer. That's a lot of plastic going into landfill. I've also got a cover which is half plastic and half green - the green side has faded horrible so that it looks awful. Not that impressed by the quality for the price tag.

Je suis hyper déçue mais à un point
Je suis hyper déçue mais à un point. J’ai dépensé une somme astronomique pour un taille L. Le plus grand proposé et il est ridicule. Un seul chien peut y aller, le boudin est tout petit donc le chien peut même pas poser sa tête. Je suis tellement triste et déçue de m’être faite autant avoir.

After owning 2 Omlet chicken houses for many years I have just splashed out and purchased an additional brand new one. I could cry! My old houses are still going strong and the design is genius they are super strong and so simple they work and they work exceptionally well. The new one is very noticeably less robust feels so much more flimsy. you can no longer slide the roof open!! There is no floor under the droppings tray. The roof is in 2 halves with a rubber seal. It’s smaller and where as everything slotted together seamlessly via moulded plastic you now have awful metal brackets everywhere which create additional cleaning problems. The two solid locking bolts have been replaced by a twist and lock plastic thing that doesn’t feel as secure. Putting it together is way more complicated with all the additional screws and plastic vents, metal brackets etc. I’m guessing manufacture costs have led to all this but it’s so disappointing to see how such a fantastic design has been messed with. They are still good houses and win over wood every time but I will go on the hunt for original secondhand old style now.

Some of your comments do appear quite unusual to us. For instance, the Eglu Pro has been designed to be very robust, using quality materials, following a well thought-out design process. Feel free to contact us to tell us more about your concerns in regards to robustness (as well as any safety concerns that you may have), so that we can better understand your situation and offer appropriate advice.
The roof is securely fixed on the side walls of the Eglu Cube and the Eglu Pro, in quite similar ways with screws and plates.
There is no floor beneath the dropping trays of the Eglu Cube and the Eglu Pro. This does not affect the safety, practicality or functionality of the coops in any way.
The Eglu Pro is the largest of our coops. Therefore, the roof is indeed designed in two parts to accommodate its larger dimensions while guaranteeing the structural integrity of the coop.
The construction of the Eglu Pro may seem more time-consuming as it is a significantly larger coop, requiring specific assembly steps.
Nevertheless, Omlet is continually researching, developing and improving products to enhance pet ownership for both the pet and the pet parent. We welcome feedback and I have passed your suggestions and remarks to our product design team who will review the information you have provided and get in touch with you if they have any questions.

Terrible service
Terrible service. I ordered an Omlet chicken coop on Wednesday 12/3 and was given a delivery date of Friday 14th so waited in all day and no sign of a delivery, the following day I received a mail to say the items (5 packages in total) were out for delivery, waited in again and only one small package was delivered, no sign of the other 4 items. Poor service and I wont buy from Omlet again.

21 meter chicken fence
Got a 21 meter chicken fence. Quick delivery.
Love that the fence is taller than what you would normally get in the market and the holes are pretty small, so chickens can't get through them.
The only issues is that it was quite fiddly to assemble, definitely took longer than I would expect. Instructions are not super clear and parts of the poles are not marked, so took a bit of time to figure it out. The netting is also quite rigid, which is great if you are setting it up on even ground, but it didn't work so well on my uneven yard.

Beware! Walk in run product for chickens…
BEWARE CUSTOMERS! Walk in run product for chickens heavily over-priced and poor quality as badly RUSTED after short of 4 years after purchase made in April 2021. Steer clear of this product! They only warranty this product for 2 years because it is made of cheap crap! I now regret it and received NO compensation following my complaint to Omlet so poor customer service as well unless you are buying their expensive and cheaply made products ! Update 12/03/2025 Heard back from Omlet today who are not willing to refund me for the very rusty walk in runs, very disappointed. Be very careful folks, they look good but won't last and only a 2-year warranty on such a pricey product might just tell you something about the lack of quality of the product. If I could post the pictures I shared with Omlet yesterday of mine you would see how shocking they look now. That's all folks and good luck! Update 18.03.2025 - so as a goodwill gesture the Customer Services Manager at OMLET refunded me 20% of my in excess of £1k payment in 2021 for this product. Better than nothing I guess, but fair ??? Ummmh am not so sure l! They are claiming to make and sell a quality product but only offer a 2-year warranty on it. Doesn't say much about the product in my view and heavily RUSTED probably after around or before 2 years, I just didn't raise other attention until later .... there are more robust and much better products on the market than this one! I wouldn't recommend it to anyone to be honest !

Zeer tevreden over de service
Ik heb sedert enkele weken een kippenhok met automatisch deurtje. Na het monteren van het deurtje bleek deze niet altijd accuraat te werken. Na melding via email aan de klantendienst werden we zeer correct geholpen en werd er onmiddellijk een nieuw exemplaar opgestuurd. Nu reeds enkele dagen uitgetest en het deurtje werkt perfect. Bedankt voor de zeer goede service, doe zo voort.

Maandag 24 Februari de hele dag gewacht op een beloofde koerier die een geretourneerde bestelling op zou komen halen. Kwam niet. De belofte was voor dinsdag 25 Februari. Kwam weer niet. Ik had een kattenren besteld maar mijn kat overleed. Bovenop dit verdriet vind ik dit echt een kwalijke zaak. Nooit geen Omlet meer voor mij.

I don’t own one but my neighbours do…
I don’t own one but my neighbours do and our garden is overrun with rats making their way to to coup where they evade any countermeasures delivered by our neighbours, sadly the council enforcement are dealing with this now, such a shame. I’m sure it’s nice to own chickens but it’s clear they attract a rat infestation and this product is not secure enough to avoid this problem or the terrible health risks associated with rat urine

Rats can be particularly drawn by food and warm shelter, no matter the type of chicken coop used. Due to several factors such as their pliable skeletal structure, soft skull, flexible body structure, behavioural adaptation, size and agility, rats are able to squeeze through openings as small as 12mm for adult rats and even smaller for juvenile rats. These rodents can gnaw through materials such as steel and cement.
Although the solid materials and well thought-out design of our products make it extremely difficult for predators to reach our coops, no chicken house is 100% predator-proof.
To get rid of a rat infestation, an external solution is indeed needed.

Playpen only lasted for two games
PLEASE READ THE EDIT AT THE BOTTOM
I bought the biggest hamster playpen available, at around £70. It's lasted two playtimes. I've contacted customer service today so I'm awaiting a reply. It's disappointing that a relatively expensive product has lasted so little. The buttons are really tight and difficult to button and unbutton. They are also glued in from what I could see, so one just popped today because the glue doesn't seem to be strong enough. I like Omlet and this was my first purchase. Hopefully the other products they have last for longer.

The team were really quick to contact me. They sent me a new playpen. Customer service was great and like I said before, I really like the brand. Their playpen is the only hammy safe playpen I could find online and my hammy was really happy with it. Very glad she'll get a new one!

Poor Customer Care resulting in a lost sale
If you buy a dog bolster bed with legs, a base plate will be included to screw the legs into. I bought a bolster bed and legs from the outlet page (£5 less than new). No base plate was sent, and now Omlet want me to pay a further £16 for one!
Also the 10% discount code was not applied to my order, a problem that seems common according to previous reviews.
Customer service not prepared to help, so I shall be requesting a refund for the entire purchase.

Brilliant enclosure
Ordered a Guinea-pig enclosure to go around a hutch to get it spring summer ready for when they go back outside. As there are alot of cats in my area I noticed that even though I have dogs they would often venture to the hutch and I didn't feel happy and wanted to make sure Guinea-pigs were safe and comfortable. The order arrived 3 days before estimation which was fantastic. All the boxes arrived at the same time. The instructions were great, laid everything out and got it all together in about 3h. The c clips are a nightmare but after a few attempts, I managed to work out how to use the clips without my hands squeezing so hard. End result it looks amazing and it's better than I thought. The enclosures are pricey but I haven't seen any that are as good as this and if the mesh on the roof is too big for your requirements add a little extra mesh.

Assistenza molto buona, prodotti buoni ma potrebbero migliorare con poco, tempi di consegna pessimi in quanto non trovo corretto che venga data la possibilità di acquistare un nuovo prodotto che non è attualmente disponibile facendo così aspettare mesi per poterlo ricevere e spedire.

Panier arrivé avec plus d'un mois de…
Panier arrivé avec plus d'un mois de retard j'ai du racheter un panier pour accueillir mon chiot. Aucun geste commercial de la part d'omlet ne m'a été proposé. Le panier fait avec un tissu résistant testé. Mon chiot qui n'est pourtant pas destructeur est parvenu à faire un trou au bout de 2 mois. Le panier acheté en secours qui était pourtant bon marché ( 40 euros) est quand a lui toujours intacte. Tout comme les peluches de naissance de mon chien. La qualité est déplorable au vu des prix pratiqués. Il est impossible de racheter uniquement la housse il faut racheter le panier complet en cas de trou. A fuir.

Geld niet waard
Je betaalt heeeeeeeel veel en wij hadden hogen verwachtingen we hebben namelijk een stukje hobbelig gras en hadden het kleinen kippenhok gekocht met banden hebben hem nu een jaar en trapje bevestiging is al helemaal kapot (je kan er amper mee rijden als je geen heel recht perceel hebt) verder is het uitmesten wel makkelijk maar nog een minpunt geen duidelijke incructies kortom koop dit alleen als je biljoenair bent anders is het geld NIET WAARD

Het spijt ons om te horen dat u niet helemaal tevreden bent met uw kippenhok op wielen.
Wielen zijn handig om het hok te verplaatsen, maar het hangt echter ook af van het soort terrein dat u heeft. Hoe ruwer/hobbeliger het terrein, hoe moeilijker het zal zijn om het hele hok te verplaatsen.
Als uw ladder beschadigd is, aarzel dan niet om contact met ons op te nemen, zodat wij u hiervoor een oplossing kunnen aanbieden.
