Parcel direct absolutely a nightmare to deal with. UPS have confirmed a refund was made to Parcel direct on 2nd of may on my behalf. I have sent 6 emails concerning an update all have been ignored.... Ver mais

I don't often send packages so I wasn't sure what the best courier to use was, after a quick Google search I found parcel direct where they compare all the couriers in one place, shipped a parcel to USA and staff were very helpful with my customs questions. would recommend to all people who rarely ship anything.

I have been using ParcelDirect.ie for my online business for nearly a year and it's by far Ireland's best parcel service! Collections and deliveries are always prompt, and if there's any issue it's quickly resolved by customer support. They also have great eCommerce tools for small businesses which make sending quicker & easier, highly recommend!

Received a message stating parcel was unable to be delivered on a given date. Then a message to say it would be delivered the following day… no sign of it then either. Now a message saying I have to pay a re-delivery fee of €2.80 something. Is this a scam ? What’s up with this company?

I booked through Parcel Direct and paid for extra insurance DPD picked up the box, it arrived damaged DPD said its not their problem as I have to deal with Parcel Direct, It has been approximately three weeks and the only contact was the phone call to PD who asked for proof of pictures which I sent.
Do not use this company book directly with the main ones.

Never use this company! Waited for over a week after my package was supposed to be delivered. Finally tracking said delivered but not to me and I was home all day. Said I would get a call from the courier to say where he left it, got no call. Have been calling and emailing everyday and keep getting fobbed off. Should have been signed for, no signature. Should be a tracking locator on the van, nothing. Don’t take the risk

Don't use Parcel Direct ! Go direct to the couriers instead. I paid for two parcel deliveries on 15th Dec. and they were due to be collected on 18th Dec. They wouldn't reply to many emails despite being given all details. There was no phone number. In the end I had to phone GLS and the parcels were eventually collected on 11th Jan.
My experience is of zero customer support from Parcel Direct. Never again !

I did not know that they are not couriers but use other couriers. DPD actually delivered my parcel. I paid to have a parcel to be sent to myself from a private individual and I paid extra to insure parcel for 250 euro. I have never been able to claim insurance for the item that arrived broken. The customer service say its nothing to do with them and I have been round in circles for weeks trying to contact the many places I have been told to. Some have said that only the sender can claim but I am the customer and parcel direct took my money as I am told by Consumer Rights.

booked a collection and delivery through this company at the start of November. I subsequently had to cancel for legitimate reasons and this was done less than 15 minutes after the booking went through.
I was assured by a Michael from Customer support that I would receive my refund of €24.43 within 5-10 days.
Multiple ignored emails and 2 months later and still no Refund.
Disgraceful customer service so do yourself a favour and avoid at all costs
*Update - received refund on 29th January.

We have dealt with Parcel Direct for several years and generally they are helpful at resolving a minor problems BUT they are USELESS when something goes wrong.
We shipped a sculpture worth €5,500 through them with FedEx to the USA 9 weeks ago. FedEx have obviously lost it but due to the value they are stalling and we have a client who is understandably angry & wants their money back. The item is fully insured with Parcel Direct but they will not stand up to FedEx, and they will not honour our insurance policy because apparently FedEx gets to arbitrate on their own incompetence and can take up to another 3 months to admit liability and decide if they should pay for losing our sculpture!!! It's a disgrace and Parcel Direct are refusing to stand up to them. In fact they seem to be now refusing to answer my emails and phone calls. I don't know what they are getting paid for but they will lose a good account if they don't pay out on our insurance policy very soon

ATTENTION! parceldirect charged me with 200% ( wanted 300% but gives me 100% off) on the top of original delivery price for undelivered parcel, ( €50 for delivery + €100 for undelivered/returned )
on my objection that they can't charge more than original delivery price parcel direct representative says that there is no any limits on that and they can charge any sum they want. after every time you use parceldirect delete/clear your bank details from parceldirect website as they stores your credit card details and then uses for charge money from your account

Absolute disgraceful service, have been waiting on a parcel pickup Ireland to Ireland for 4 days now no timeframe as to if it will be this year even. Won't be using for anything again..
Ha, totally hilarious response this review was from 2023 and you are saying you will investigate it as a priority in 2025 are you having a laugh seriously? You never picked up the item at all no explanation or anything. Hopefully you go bankrupt like fastway you don't deserve anything less.

Item valued at €5250 collected on Friday 6th October 2023. Contacted Michael at Parcel Direct customer services on Wednesday 11th October. I submitted the dimensions and content details of my parcel on Wednesday 11th October. On Thursday 12th October, Michael gets back to me with the grim news that searching for my parcel could take up to 10 working days, but this time is probably reduced as the parcel is at a local depot I suppose. I had to contact the recipient in Poland and apologise profusely.
This situation is a total mess. I am not optimistic and am very concerned considering the costly value of the item in question, ie €5250. I wish I had checked Trustpilot reviews on Parcel Direct before going ahead with my parcel booking with them. Please see my review on GLS the courier company I used on the Parcel Direct website for sending my parcel.
Parcel Direct should hang their heads in shame. It is difficult to find a reliable courier service to send items internationally from Ireland. Don't use Parcel Direct. Do your homework carefully when choosing a courier service. Consult Trustpilot's excellent review resources before making a decision. Finally take a picture of your parcel on your phone etc, in the event that things go wrong as they most often do, as evidenced by the reviews on Trustpilot's resourceful website.

We sent a parcel from sligo to Dublin, never arrived, eventually told it was damaged, on further enquiry told it was discarded without asking permission. A valuable picture lost. DON'T USE Them!!

They offer the cheapest service as they have the lowest standards. If there is a mistake with the delivery, they expect the sender to rectify their issue.
I wouldn't recommend them and would use another competent company.

Avoid at all costs. If I could give zero stars I would. Lost our boxes and we got radio silence for help. Ignored us. Parcel direct needed to file the claim with FedEx but went blank. Going solicitor route now.
