Parcel direct absolutely a nightmare to deal with. UPS have confirmed a refund was made to Parcel direct on 2nd of may on my behalf. I have sent 6 emails concerning an update all have been ignored.... Ver mais

had a an issue with the 1 courier they are agents for during the last 2 years I've use them, but ParcelsDirect as an intermediary represented us well , chased the courier and resolved the issue...good support!

So, I went to the store I had chosen for parcel collection to pick up a parcel that I had ordered. The lady told me that they never received anything from dpd, even after I showed her the proof of delivery that I had gotten by email. I just can't believe how close I was to losing my package worth €560. The only reason I was able to get it was because after I had left the store, I tapped the View Image button from the email I had received from dpd. I then turned around, went back to the store and showed them the picture. Another lady then told me that she had tried to scan the package into the system but it never went through. They then told me that they only accepted ups and dhl parcels (I don't even know if that's true). Apparently, I was supposed to be charged after inputting my PDL number but that never happened after the package arrived. I could tell that they were not happy, as they told me I couldn't just use the store address without paying to get it delivered, as it could have been lost. I am not putting the blame on any of the in-store staff today, it's just this so-called service that doesn't even exist. Ever since they got rid of parcel motel, they did not put an oohpod locker in every convenient store/petrol station and it has been very difficult to find alternatives. I will never be using this service again, I will just find another service that is legitimate. I guess this only deserves 1 star, only because I did get my package in the end.
Edit: I got a phone call the other day from Parceldirect after this review went live, they said they'd call the store to find out more regarding my experience. They also said that they could see that I already did have a PDL number and everything. I just don't know why it never works when I use it, I have used other services like this before (i.e, Parcelmotel and Parcel Wizard) and they worked fine. Anyway, I had another package that was due to arrive at the same store that I had that unpleasant experience at the other day, but thankfully, it was an post that was handling this one. I rerouted it to a post office, and boy am I glad I did. I was able to collect the package from there without any problems at all.

We are regular customers of Parceldirect and spend hundreds with them on a monthly basis. The truth is as long as the package carriers (UPS/GLS/FEDex) do their job right there is no problem HOWEVER if anything goes wrong it is a disaster, I’ve been chasing my tail for 9wks over a lost package. They lack the initiative to forward me on any info regarding my missing 25KG extra-large package!! I am constantly chasing for updates. Nobody from either UPS or Parceldirect is taking responsibility - but at this stage I would just like someone to work with me to resolve. All I have asked for is open communication and all I have received is silence. When I contact them, they lie - or UPS lies because UPS say they have sent PD the info but PD support swear this is untrue. Lack of communication is unacceptable so book direct is my advice at least then if things go wrong you can chase rather than being left in the dark
It would not be difficult to make this company great but a bit of effort is required, and I would recommend they drop UPS as they are a huge part of their problem

Used ParcelDirect for an Amazon return. There were constant problems from start to finish and I only knew about them because I was tracking the delivery myself. UPS wanted to charge the Amazon seller, to whom I was returning the item, a fee of just under €200. The item was barely worth that. I contacted ParcelDirect, and furnished them with the Amazon Return documents that they said they would give UPS. Christmas came and went, I forgot about it, then remembered it in February. Tracked the item and UPS wanted a fee off me to return it back to me. I contacted ParcelDirect who said I should have read the Terms and Conditions and I would have to pay a fee to get the item back, and was now outside the time to return. I should have sent it by post. It seems UPS throws fees on everywhere for no reason and holds people to ransom. I paid ParcelDirect, UPS and didn't get my item delivered. Stay away from them. They take AGES to answer your queries/claims.

A warning from a business owner to anyone else looking to use these:
We've been using them for about a year with over 300 parcels sent and I can confirm they are cheaper than most for some countries. For example, before xmas a small parcel to the US with UPS was 47 euro but if we booked UPS using ParcelDirect, it was less than half. At the same time, parcels to Germany are cheaper if we book with UPS direct. Because of this we use a number of services.
Now to the BIG negative, if a parcel gets lost or damaged, you are on your own. If you try and make a claim against UPS/DHL/etc, you can't as you have to go through PD and they have to do it on your behalf. You play the game, send all the details, and that's the last you hear of your claim. Claims sent back in Feb 2024, March, etc, NEVER heard back from. Every time you chase them you get a reply with 'oh we will follow it up' and never to hear back until I contact them again... So, to get back what we lost, I've asked our accounts department to do a charge-back on the last few payments to the value of our lost parcels. I'll make sure to update you here if we get our refunds.
If the owners would see the above and fix it, they would be running a great service but what do I know.

Trust the low ranking of Parceldirect.ie on TrustPilot. Stay away from Parceldirect. My last experience with Parceldirect's courier (UPS) was for next day service to Dublin from Mayo. The item was picked up on time, delivered two days later to the wrong address, and left beside a wheelie bin on the street. Upon contacting Michael at PD, I was blamed for not revising the address insert Dublin 11after PD's delivery information software auto-corrected the address. The address provided did specify the correct Eir Code. The previous experience concerning an international parcel arrived four weeks after promised. Shame on me.

Do not use! Tried sending a parcel from Ireland to UK. Parcel was never collected. Customer service said a refund would be paid within 5-10 days. After 1 month of emailing (never replied to) still absolutely nothing.
Haha! Refund has never been sent despite the reply. DO NOT USE

No. Just no. Ok,the service is good,you can compare the couriers. Easy. But as soon as you have any issues,like want to get compensation for a delayed delivery you won't be able to as parceldirect is the registered user for the couriers so only they can ask for compensation and not you who used the service. And they won't do it. Never. If you contact with them 1) won't reply to the emails and 2) ignores you over the phone.
So if you want to send something book it on the couriers website directly as you'll have support then.

Don't use this awful service.
My overnight express parcel was supposed to get from limerick to cork 120 days ago.
This shower hung up on me when i called looking for my package, and have refused to fix the issue in the last 3 months. My package still hasnt arrived. They arent even a couriers...even though they have a website that looks very like a courier company. You'd be better off throwing your package into the river in my opinion, than using this outfit.
Update: And no, the issue hasnt been attended to...you guys still refuse to do anything about it

YOU WILL NEVER GET YOUR REFUND SO AVOID PARCEL DIRECT. USE PARCEL COMPARE INSTEAD.
Customer support awful. Parcel consistently not arriving at destination. They will reply until refund is approved then they stop replying when you ask where the refund is.

Left a pair of expensive runners in a hotel down the country never used a courier before and used the first one from google , runners were picked up from the hotel put into a parcel bag and with me 2 days later , a lovely man delivered them 5 stars

Absolutely terrible. Parcel was lost only going 40km from where parcel was dropped. Went to Spain for whatever reason nobody can tell me. No customer support. Tryng to call 3+ weeks

Book a small parcel in on Thursday...door to door.....to collect on Friday. Today it's Monday..15.40pm now and no body was here to collect. Was trying 2 hours on phone and over the Facebook massagener to hold of the service ..no chance !!!!!! Absolutely disgusting!!!!!!!!

Booked parcel courier GLS through this website to ship a phone internationally. Phone delivered to wrong country. I was refused a refund or no offer to reship. Awful company and awful experience. Stay away and find a better way to ship your items. Cannot give no stars otherwise I would. Service was not provided as agreed. Avoid at all costs.

Online booking system allowed me to arrange, book & pay for, a drop off to a local store who unhelpfully told me that ‘we don’t do that anymore’ and by all means leave my parcel with a bunch of other uncollected parcels - pity those unsuspecting customers! Store assistant said they haven’t offered that service for over a month which begs the question why is it still noted online as a store that does! The store assistant advised I go to another store in a town some 20 miles away. I tried to call that second store several times to be sure they could accept my parcel to send to no answer. Tried multiple times to contact Parcel Direct to no avail. I can only rate them for an excellent looking website with non existent customer care. Went to try that 2nd store & if that didn’nt work either. Ended up delivering my parcel to Dublin myself - two hour round trip.
I’ll try but think a refund will be as impossible to get as a reply from this company. Much time & frustration spent! Won’t try to use again & certainly will not recommend.

Very poor service. Failed to collect package. When I called them they tried to make it look like it was because I didn't provide an Eircode. I had provided one (and they shouldn't need it in a town anyway). Used them before to deliver and it worked out OK although the people at the drop-off point didn't seem to know how to use their system.

This company is a SCAM! DO NOT USE! Unfortunately I didn't read the online reviews before placing an order. I don't reside in Ireland and arranged for my deceased mother's belongings to be collected from her home in Ireland to family. Unfortunately I just clicked on parcel direct as it was one of the first websites that came up. I realise I've no chance of a refund because he is ignoring my emails and messenger. He couldn't care less of course, so I've no other option but to chase him through the small claims courts. I'm also hoping to have my money refunded by PayPal as he's obviously a con artist. Please do not waste your money and time on this guy

Paid Parcel Direct to deliver a package to a huge factory in Australia.
Courier claims they couldn't locate it. Totally unbelievable.
They claim to have tried to contact us but this is untrue. Absolutely no record of any contact.
Now they have said they are returning the package and will not refund us. They are even saying they can charge for the return!
Never, never use this company.
