Waste of time

Promised free delivery if I signed up to newsletter then told there's a minimum order of £100 for this at checkout - how ridiculous

I highly recommend using photo-on-canvas.co.uk.
I have ordered a number of times and the canvasses always look really fantastic. The communication and service from the company is first class and the canvasses always arrive promptly and in perfect condition.

Very pleased with our purchase. Website was easy to use. I was able to top and tail my photo to produce the panoramic picture I wanted. Reproduction onto canvas was excellent, not blurry as I feared for such a large picture. Yes, it does come from Germany but delivery was as promised and NO import duty or other hidden costs as suggested by others here. Only issue was with UPS final delivery who left the package, clearly marked Fragile Art wedged behind a tree 200 metres from my house during a storm!

I have edited my original review as it arrived today and I’m really happy with my picture. It’s great quality and looks amazing.
UPS were the issue here and I feel that more can be done about the shipping issue.

weeks and still waiting. Going round in circles trying to contact UPS who say it’s stuck in customs and out of their control. As they have a .co.uk website I expected it to come from the UK. I paid over £79 including £20 for postage.

Update on my purchase.

My last post explained that Photo-on canvas.co.uk, who have an office in Clerkenwell, London are a German company. Scam number 1 making you believe you are dealing with a UK company.

The reviews that are posted on their site are unfortunately fake, made up from their marketing team and not 'verified' with any third party.

As a UK consumer, you will be charged import taxes of between £50 - £100 over your order. Photo-on-Canvas.co.uk terms and conditions lead you to believe that all taxes are included, that is a lie.

I used this company to print a personal picture, like everyone else using the company. Their refund policy doesn't cover your personal or corporate pictures.

Please use your social media to warn others of deceitful companies like Photo-on-Canvas.co.uk,

Lastly if you're hoping for any customer support or understanding from Catharina Bretschneider, forget it, its a waste of breath.

Ordered a large print over 5 seperate canvases. 2 weeks later took delivery via UPS and had a £60.81 delivery/ customs charge. Which was not on the web site. Also the main part of the picture is missing. Only 4 canvas were delivered not the ordered 5. I’ve emailed the company.

Same company as acrylic-glass-photos. Don't be fooled the reviews that come up under there website us fake! Bought a picture under the assumptions that they had good reviews. Our picture came and had no protection. It's like a scratch card.

If buying from the UK totally avoid this company. The website tries to show they are based in the UK but they are based in Germany and don't tell you that there is also import charges due once your order has been dispatched! I had to pay an additional £60 to UPS before receiving my delivery which was never shown on the website. When I complained all they kept saying is they didn't have to show it was an import and in there legal terms and condition (which are very hidden) it mentions additional hidden charges. Totally deceptive business. They even say free shipping on the home page and checkout!!! You get billed from a different courier company!!!

I was very pleasantly surprised when I saw the canvas reproduction of my photograph. The quality is really good and I suspect an acrylic would have been the absolute best. When I showed my partner he said 'wow!' It was stretched over the wooden frame really well, no creases and the mirrored sides also look very good. Also, extremely well packaged. Highly recommended, I would purchase again.

Although tempted, I didn’t purchase because of the absolutely disgusting charges that they seem to blame on Brexit. If you are British I would suggest buying from a British company to avoid paying a completely unjustified charge.

Did not deliver, no contact, no product avoid at all cost or they will cost you

I would 100% avoid this company. I got a mosaic canvas from them. I used 1,000 high quality images (from a wedding photographer). The main image was also from a professional photographer and of a very high quality. The Result was really bad. All the individual images were grainy and blurred.

I've gotten similar mosaics done from another company in the past with no issues. Very disappointing. When I contacted customer service they took no responsibility and tried to blame it on the images (that were professionally taken and of a very high quality).

The canvas is useless.

Avoid avoid avoid.
Terrible quality , creased canvas. they pretend they will replace, use horrific delivery company (not the one advertised) who you can’t contact and then basically ignore you when your product doesn’t arrive. I still never received a replacement or refund.
They are also extremely rude.

Avoid like the plague

Please do not buy from the company. We spent a lot of money with and the quality of the product is awful.
They claim we sent them a blurry picture which we did not. When we tried to get our money which they have also refused so we are now contacting consumer rights. There website claim excellent reviews. These must all be fake! Please do not buy from them.

Absolutely terrible. Spent 2-3 hours on a big photo collage for my wife, checking and rechecking it. Then hit submit - no proof was shared or sent to me for checking, just a tiny (1cmx1cm) image of the whole collage that I couldn't zoom in on. In the end, the collage made and delivered of 50 photos had 5 of the same photo. I am 99% that this was a mistake with their software and 100% that they should have a proofing process to avoid me spending £74 on something which looks silly now. When asking for them to re-do the collage, they were blunt/rude, unhelpful and refused to help or accept any responsibility. Didn't even offer a discount if I wanted to re-make it. I would never use these people again and suggest you steer clear
