I just purchased my second Photomast
I just purchased my second Photomast, in 2014 I purchased the 8 meter, and love it so much I have added the 6 meter. I wanted something slightly smaller for events and home interiors. My 8 meter has been an integral part of my kit for 5 years and held up very well, its build is the highest quality and has lasted the test of time. I am pleasantly surprised by the upgrades that have been made over the last five years as well, I would highly recommend Photomast!

Mark, thanks for your comprehensive review. You already bought a 8 meter Photomast 5 years ago and now a 6 meter version. It is good to read that our Photomasts are still good after 5 years of frequent use. I wish you all the best with your aerial photography in Versailles, USA.
Great product for unique photos
I purchased the 6 meter Photomast, which for me has the perfect balance between length both extended and retracted, and weight of the pole. In many urban areas it is not permitted to fly with drones. The Photomast can then still give a unique elevated perspective to your photos, and at much higher quality than most drones can with the use of a good DSLR or mirrorless camera set-up. The Photomast is more than strong enough to hold my maximum 2 kg of gear safely. The tilting rubber base is very convenient, allowing you to balance the Photomast well, also on uneven ground. Customer service was very responsive, professional and friendly. Overall a high quality, well-designed and easy to use product. Recommended!

Excellent Quality - A Real Professional Product
I purchased the Photomast for fieldwork (specifically for use looking straight down at vegetation) and have just completed an extensive test of the system with my first project. I can say the system performed flawlessly. All 5 sections were extended and retracted at leat 40 seperate times and all of the locks performed smothly and flawlessly. The system was used in adverse weather conditions (rain, cold, and high winds), and again performed flawlessly. I have very happy with the quality of the system and look forward to using it for landscape photography.

Heel blij met mijn aankoop van de 6 meter photomast!
Dacht dat het moeilijk zou zijn om de camera stabiel te houden op hoogte, maar dit is me meer dan 100% meegevallen. Het werkt super, voelt goed aan, de camera is stabiel en het uitschuiven gaat erg licht. Klemmen werken mooi en ook de camfi voldoet naar wens. Heel tevreden! Bedankt.

De 5e ster is nu ook meer dan verdiend! In 2017 kocht ik de 10 meter mast. Prima en heel flexibel in gebruik. Ik kan niet meer zonder. Alleen bleek dat de bevestigingsklemmen van de verschillende segmenten tijdens het gebruik bijgesteld diende te worden. En dat voelde niet altijd vertrouwd. Uiteraard aangeklopt bij Photomast en er werd mij beloofd dat er aan gewerkt werd en inderdaad eind juli kreeg ik een doosje met beschrijving om de klemmen te vervangen. Én....het werkt nu perfect en heel licht!!

There are a few similar products online and I was a bit nervous purchasing sight unseen from the other side of the world .
