I've used PPD for years, mainly for their vinyl sticker material which has always been great in the past. In the last year or so though the quality has really dropped (I think they might have been bought out recently?), the last 3-4 orders I've made with them the A4 sheets I've received have always been curled to the extent they've actually damaged the print head on my printer (which costs £250 a time to replace!).

I've emailed them repeatedly about quality control issues and just got the usual "we'll take a look at it" sort of response but they never fix the issue. I've had to start buying my materials from elsewhere as the company is no longer reliable and doesn't seem interested in fixing any problems.

Rubbish company . Pre folded card was not square so print on one side then its off if you try to print on other side plus some are not a4 size. The company do not reply to any emails or messages. I would advice not to buy from this company. They do not respect their customers.

Ordered greeting card paper but after a week or so I contacted them to see where my order was and they'd ran out of stock and not bothered to let me know
I got a refund no problem but mad sit all a bit rushed to get an alternative and get them out in time for Christmas
Good paper but I wouldn't order again given the lack of communication

I have bought their papers for years. They are as good as papers from well-known "professional brands" at a lower cost. Try a comparison for yourself.

Ordered dark t-shirt transfers. Used Transfer Master Brand before and after using PPD transfers. PPD print was faded, ink rubs off, and good luck removing the transfer from the backing. The only thing changed was the transfer paper. Been waiting days for a response from their so called 24/7 support. No one available by phone and chat techs promise someone will contact asap, nothing happens. Crappy products, terrible support, worthless 100% "satisfaction guarenteed" warranty. Use Transfer Master. Great results, great service.

Has gone rapidly downhill in the past year or so. Website issues, inability to keep products in stock consistently, they were hacked and lost customer details and their new CS team give conflicting info if they reply at all.

I used this company almost exclusively for my artwork business, and they used to be brilliant - fair prices, great customer service and very efficient postage.

Lately they are abysmal - placed an order for newly overpriced paper, waited 7 days (when postage should've been completed in 4) without hearing a word from them - tried contacting them 4 times myself, twice via email, then Live Chat (which directed me to someone who doesn't even work for PPD, so that feature is a load of nonsense, and even via telephphone, none of which helped at all.

All of a sudden I get a 'dispatch' email, informing me that part of my order is out-of-stock, oh well! Sorry we didn't tell you and sorry for taking a week to ship the stuff we DO have in stock - sorry you had to buy paper elsewhere whilst waiting in the dark.

Shoddy company, very uncourteous and not a place to take your business - plenty of better options out there.

They requested that I send in a copy of a utility bill or credit card invoice for a $100 order (they claimed credit cards require this for all orders over $100). That is the type of thing only needed for online gambling or cryptocurrency purchasing. I've never had a legitimate company ask for this type of information, and a credit card company would NEVER require this. Not sure what they are up to.

The inkjet canvas art paper for hand coloring a black and white photo and had terrible results. I used Marshall oils to color a portrait and the heavy grain of the paper dominated the image on the face. I did several of the same photo trying to make adjustments with the Marshall oils but got the same terrible results

They removed my 1 star review. I noticed they do not have any ratings lower than a 3 star. Makes me wonder how many reviews they remove.
My complaint is that they removed the "red gird" on the back of the backing paper. This grid is important when you trim around an image for placement on the garment to make sure it is straight. They still show the red grid in the video, pictures and description. I reached out to the company (have purchased this item 5+ years) I was told they removed the grid and replaced it with their logo PPD to keep other companies from using a red grid and appearing to be their product. ??? If you buy from PPD then the item is PPD right? If you buy elsewhere then it is not the same item. It is that simple.

I was searching for a double sided photo paper when I came upon Photo Paper Direct. I was not sure if the item I was looking at would be suitable. I contacted them by Email with my query. I received a response within ten minutes from a young lady named Sylvana. She advised me that the paper I was looking at was not really the best for my needs and pointed me to an alternative. I trusted her opinion and placed an order for two packs. I paid by Paypal and the transaction went through without any problem. I emailed Sylvana and let her know I had placed my order. Within an hour I received confirmation of my order. That was two days ago. This morning I received my order and it is exactly what I wanted "Good Quality" photo printing paper that you can print clearly and legibly on the reverse side. They provided me with a service second to none and I thoroughly recommend them for speed, efficiency and excellent customer service.

I wish I knew they had such a bad reputation! Would have never ordered from them.

First of all, I placed an order, paid immediately, and soon after (a few days) I got an email telling me that item is out of stock, although they clearly displayed it available on the website. False advertising, just to get you ordering.

So I could either cancel, or wait for a bit longer than a month to get my items. I waited, unfortunately.

After this experience, I wanted to delete my account regards to privacy concerns but they got back to me in such a rude way I suggest nobody to ever do business with this company and look for deals elsewhere. They said they won't be able to delete my account, saying "I clearly explained that we will not remove your account and personal details as we have a financial transaction history with you and have to keep these minimal records for the prescribed time." This is not an excuse to withheld my personal data on an account level. You can keep transaction records but you must delete my account if I ask due to The Right to Be Forgotten. Many companies only keep the transaction details onto their systems due to legal reasons but proceed with deleting your account. It's not rocket science.

But they did not. They simply blocked my login so I would not be able to access your account as I was still able to log onto my account after quite some time, even after requesting its deletion.

Horrible, horrible company. Please stay away from them. Will definitely raise a complaint with Information Commisioner's Office.

Their website is a bit odd and very non-responsive, but eventually I was ready to 'check-out' - paying by PayP. However the address that was passed to PayP was a business address that I used to order from them in 2016, and PayP would not let me select my current address so I had to junk the transaction, and try again. This time I checked very carefully the address to be used (it is the address registered I had registered in PPD, but blow-me-down the address passed to PayP was that same old address. So I cancelled the transaction and I also used their 'contact us' from their website. They have not got back to me, and if they don't care then neither do I and I now have 'unsubscribed'.This was only a modest order, less than £100. I ordered the items we needed from someone else.

My order came crumpled and the picture on the site where I ordered it was inaccurate, so it won't work for me. Shipping it back is too expensive.

I’ve ordered 3 different times. All 3 times I never received a tracking number. The last 2 times my order “got lost by the postal service”. At least that’s what David hill told me through customer service. They’re not even a US based company!! When I call they’re never available. Never ordering from them again. Idk how this business is even still running. They need to be reported immediately!!

The company ships from the UK but their website has a US address. I placed my order with them weeks ago and it is sitting in US customs because they ship from the UK and not from the states. I needed my order in a timely manner and I have no clue when my order will arrive. I called the company and a gentleman from the UK answered and acknowledge they were not located in the US but did little to help me with my concerns about my package. I like their product but I will NEVER order from them again.

The only reason I gave this place one star is because it would not let me post without giving it at least one. First off I placed an order on June 6th 2020, Today is June 26th 2020 and i have not received my order. The number to the company they give you to call is a New York number. They tell you to call this number (518-618-4590) between the hours of 10am -3pm Pacific Standard Time. This company is based in the UK so if you call between those hours, you will conveniently miss them because they will be closed. Well today I caught them open and now they dont have anyone available to speak to or help me and directed me to leave my contact info. I replied to their email a week ago concerning my order and have not received an response back through email. I have also not received a return call back. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE. MY ORDER WAS CLOSE TO $90 DOLLARS AND THEY DONT EVEN CARE!!! DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!!!!!

Placed one order. Got charged twice one from their website and then almost double from amazon. Provided the evidence on bank statements and my packages- yet “David Hill” says i didn’t provide anything, mentions that they're a “ reputable company” which if so, they wouldn't have illegally put out my credit info without my authorization to amazon and charge me close to $60 when it should have only been the $22.94. Very sketchy company. Bad service and very bad quality of product.

Ordered photo paper and I was really not happy with the quality. I emailed to the company as wanted to exchange it for better quality one or receive a refund. After few conversations Aaron stopped to replying to my messages (27th Feb) and when I messaged today he blamed me for ‘sending new emails without reference number’ when clearly I was replying to our previous emails which before wasn’t a problem. Then he said how can he know who I am and what is it about if I have big time gaps in the conversation... the big gap was 1 MINUTE! Yes I replied straight away and then he ignored me for over a week. But sure why not to send crappy quality product, ignore the client and then blame them! Good luck with your service Aaron
