My son went to buy a car on Saturday, he travelled over 120 miles around trip only to be told that he couldn’t buy the car due to the insurance being to high, as I am aware this has nothing to do with buying a car. He was going to buy the car out right so the man probably didn’t want to sell him it as no commission. They also went to another showroom in wales and was told that the way he was treated by yourselves was appalling.

Fast forward nearly 3 months. My son's car , the turbo failed with only 70.000 on the clock . Been pushed from pillar to post back and fore , did everything they asked up to date with the platinum rac warranty, my own garage spent over an hour on the phone to rac as advised, Jo from aftersales still waiting for a reply from ' higher management ' . My garage has stipulated to the rac that it is a mechanical failure, as in no contamination or oil contamination,now rac wants my garage to strip the turbo out send it away to be examined then they'll decide even after my garage said it's a clear mechanical failure, the rac don't tell you when they say get your garage to do this , we'll pay for transportation of turbo and examination then decide if it's covered. They don't tell you if they 'find ' any that you have to foot the bill . Last conversation from pintree is we may pay toward it . Disgusted. It's already been going on for weeks in which the meantime my son jas to rent a car yo get back and fore work. Also had a seal problem on windscreen in which they said we'll replace it for a new one . They sealed it but not replaced. Bought car on a Friday they said they'd put new mot on it , ready by Saturday morning??? Questionable. I will update the conclusion from them

I purchased 2 cars at the same time a BMW and a Mazda from the Bridgend Branch. Firstly they allowed me to look around. They did not "jump on you as soon as you arrived", Upon purchasing them the sales representative (sorry cannot remember his name). was so helpful and gave me a good deal that I was happy with. He made the process so easy and could not do enough to help. Upon purchasing the vehicle there was a replacement switch needed. There was no issues with having it replaced. I had to take it to the Tonypandy showroom for the work which was difficult with travelling etc etc. However, Joe was so pleasant and went out of her way to help and assist. My car had a recall from BMW (nothing to do with the purchase). BMW completed a health check and found a small issue. I contacted Joe and my car was booked in and fixed around a time that was convenient for me. Amazing and Wonderful experience for a used car dealership. I can honestly say that I would highly recommend Pinetree to anyone. The customer service is A******** plus free RAC breakdown for the year. Bonus. I purchased from Bridgend. However, the Tonypandy showroom is massive and well worth a look and travel from Bridgend. THANK YOU for everything.

We bought a fab Fiesta from Steve last year for my partner and when it came to myself needing a new car, we didn't even consider going anywhere else. This time we were looked after by the lovely Mike! Like Steve, fantastic customer service, no hard sales or being pushy. We were looking for something quite specific and we honestly didn't think we would get it but Mike got it spot on! We viewed the car on the Sunday and drove it away on the Tuesday. Such a fab company to deal with with wonderfully helpful and knowledgeable staff. We won't go anywhere else for future cars. Thank you to both Steve and Mike 😀

Came here today to look at Ford Focus ST and meet mo from sale team and I can honestly say what a lovely young man I ended up buy the car and mo went through all the paperwork and made sure that I understood everything and within two hours I was driving home home in my new car thanks to mo

I have very poor credit due to an X partner ripping me off!!.. anyway I went to numerous garages, nobody could help me, and was turned away. I then took a chance and popped down to Pinetree Cars in Tonypandy, not expecting to end up, within less then 24 hours a car, which I never could have imagined I could afford, and finance where the interest rates weren't sky high! I was directed to a very nice man called Mo, he took time to listen and understand my predicament, and then proceeded to find me the help I needed. I can't recommend them enough, all the staff there were lovely, Mo was amazing, and as the team all said "if anyone can, Mo can".. and he did, he sorted me out with a finance company who were fantastic, so helpful, and again understanding and empathetic to my situation, I dont think I will ever go anywhere else but Pinetree Cars now as they were great.. Thank you Mo for everything

Where do I start? I visited Pinetree in Tonypandy in November 2023, and purchased a vehicle on finance. The salesman was slick, as you'd expect but I was confident I had made a good decision. Within a week, I returned the vehicle for repair due to mechanical failure. Unfortunate but these things happen! A few days later I had it back and within a week they had it back....And Repeat.
On the forth time, they took it to main dealer for diagnosis and that was the last I saw it. 3 Months go by with no clear communication as to the status of my vehicle, (I did receive a courtesy car for this period) and I continued to pay the monthly finance for a car I had driven probably for 3 weeks cumulatively.
When I called, I was constantly being fobbed off with excuses that it was out of their hands and now a main dealer issue. Not helpful.
I eventually raised a case with Citizens Advice and on hearing this, they told me to come back down and pick a replacement car...Result!....Not quite!
Thinking that finally we had some progress, I chose a new car but was told it wasn't that straight forward. They had to unwind my finance agreement and start a new one...Ok...
I receive a phone call from the salesman the following day informing me that now I have been rejected for finance, (due to an agreement still being on my credit report), and there's mothing he can do about it! I've traded in my previous vehicle, they've unwound the finance on my current vehicle and now I cant get finance for a replacement. I work over 20 miles away and on no public transport route...Screwed!
I contact various finance providers myself and finally get success with carfinance24/7, (Brilliant Company).
I finally collect my new vehicle in March this year and before I even get home...issues! I take it straight back but alas, it has to go to main dealer....Here we go again. Towards the end, I honestly thought Ant & Dec were going to jump out and that the past 6 months had been a wind-up...But no, I didn't end up on Telly, It really was just that poor. So to summarize,
I think Pinetree must buy the vehicles even Trade Centre Wales reject and I would not recommend them, even if they were giving the cars away. I know it's a cliché, but only giving 1 Star because I can't go lower.

This is the second time I have visited pine tree car sales in Tonypandy to purchase a car and both times I have been served by mo. Mo was very honest about the cars we viewed, very knowledgeable in terms of the car and the purchase and was very friendly, efficient and never pushy. We will be going back the next time I need a new car! On another note, I noticed that there were a few minor things that needed to be dealt with after I drove the car away, an interior light not working and the handbrake needed adjustment, I phoned and the after sales service was excellent, booked the car in for the next day and work was completed within hours. Overall very happy with pine tree but a special mention for mo, who was an overall top man!

Mo at the Tonypandy branch was so kind, patient and understanding as I navigated my first "proper" car purchase. I will definitely be recommending Pinetree to others - the prices are notably fairer than some other recently visited showrooms, and I'm very happy with my car.

We have just completed the purchase of our new car. Will definitely use them again in the future.

Dealt with a brilliant and friendly salesman called Mo who was just first class from the first point of contact to giving me prices and quotes on finance and explained every fine detail to me on what I’ll be paying for. Very very happy with my purchase the car is in immaculate condition both inside and outside.

Well after a down fall in issues ,they paid dividends to they're word ,customers come first I'm looking forward to going in Monday to cross the ttttttts and dot the iiiiiii,s . Enquired online about a car pointing out that I needed to drive for two hours to get to their site so could they reply quickly. Thirty (30) hours later I am still waiting to hear from them. Needless to say I have bought a car from a different site.

If I could rate zero stars, I would. I specifically clarified that only a soft search to be carried out over the phone as I hadn’t even see the car in the flesh. This dealership did hard searches without my permission. They could have admitted this and contacted the finance companies and easily had the searches removed but have concocted a story to say I’m lying to these finance companies just to hide their mistake. BEWARE.

Cannot fault Mo at Tonypandy branch. I went in looking for a new car, as my old broke down, he was quick to show some great cars at really good prices. I ended up buying one the same night. He was kind, clear and honest about all the cars I was shown. I would highly recommend not just Pinetree for their value and choice of second hand cars but Mo as well who can only be described as an excellent salesperson. Brilliant, thank you!
