Just delighted with my bike and the service I received at Powerbikes Whitehaven

We haven't many places round here with a reasonable choice of ebikes in my price range. After spending several months researching ebikes on line I took the plunge and visited Richard at Powerbikes. A bit apprehensive as I don't like buying outside my comfort zone (or spending money) and these things ain't cheap. I needed a machine to help increase my fitness but generally just for a bit of fun. I gave him my shopping list and he came up with similar suggestions of bikes that I had looked at on line but he sent me out on a couple of other bikes, crank and hub motors, so I could feel the difference. After more online research I went back to Powerbikes and took out another bike as well as one of my first test runs. I finally went for a Kudos Eiger Ex Demo that he had at a discount. After doing all the paperwork he let me take out a top end machine "just for fun". After getting home I found that the battery wouldn't charge. Richard "called round" the following day, a Sunday and a 75 mile round trip to diagnose a battery management fault. Another battery was sourced and I am now on the road.
The ability to test ride the machines on various surfaces was a big help and I know if I have any problems (or can suddenly afford a high end bike) he is just at the end of a phone line.
I would not hesitate to recommend Powerbikes for your ebike purchase.

Despite having purchased my Ariba Electric bike from miles away, this supplier continues to respond to every small problem that I have experienced - they do so within hours and are extremely helpful - just because they made a sale they dont abandon you. I am telling you these guys are just number 1. Buy with confidence - these people are quite simply the best! Quite simply, next to Apple and John Lewis these people have to be rated at the best as a supplier of bikes!
