I tried to order a Tascam DP-24 SD from ProSoundGear today. The first time I tried to get chat assistance no one would answer even though it said someone was there to assist me. I logged off and tried again later and the chat assistant suggested I join the VIP Club for discount pricing, so I did. The price on the item was not discounted though. After some negotiation he offered $20 off of the $499 price. He said he needed my email address to send an invoice and to wait about 20 minutes. 90 minutes passed and nothing happened, except my computer started malfunctioning. I later scanned with my antivirus software and I noticed 4 messages that indicated it had stopped suspicious activity at the time I was interacting with this guy. I thought the site was probably hacked and had no fault themselves. I came to this site to get some reviews and background on the company. I could hardly believe my eyes when I saw a glowing review from someone with the same name as the chat assistant. This is also the same name as the owner of the company. The odds that the chat assistant, reviewer and company owner all have the same name must be truly astronomical, unless they are the same person. -UPDATE- I noticed that my review was contested by ProSoundGear and they claimed it was fake.They asserted I was a competitor. I have an email receipt for the Tascam DP-24SD I purchased from another seller after getting the runaround from ProSoundGear, (I'm not a competitor.) Pro Sound Gear Inc. dba ProSoundGear.com, Pro Audio Wholesale, and Auto Shipping Solutions Inc.has an enjoined default judgment against it for counterfeit marks. Google "Harman International vs Pro Sound Gear" and you can see for yourself. Thank you Trustpilot for providing a platform for consumers to fight online scammers.

I have complete confidence that if any kind of issue ever arises with a Prosoundgear order, I needn't worry, because I aways have immediate access to all of the company's managers, all the way up to the CEO.
