Protyre Autocare - Bushey Opiniões 

AA came to my tyre burst in Radlett and rang Protyre as being the nearest garage to fit new tyre and came with saying when we would arrive which was 20 mins later..

There were about 5-7 mechanics, not bothered that we were there waiting (I'm an OAP) One told me that there would be an hour's wait as'others had booked' and I noted that the car eventually taken off the ramp was moved to the car park so wasn't an emergency. They did not show kindness or helpfulness and wouldn't allow the AA man to take off the temporary wheel so that he could go. We waited 3/4 hr and then my new tyre was fixed in 5 mins. That none of the staff felt (and they were not rushed off their feet) that they could stop for 5 mins to help me was unkind and unnecessary. That this garage has 5 stars amazes me.

Be weary if you are looking for problems exaggeration this is the place to go ,

Prompt and efficient customer service. Despite being under staffed due to a family emergency. Still took car on time and got it back on schedule too. Very impressed.

Always good service at Protyre Bushey. Staff are friendly, take the time to walk through any work that needs doing and call in advance to make sure you’re happy with pricing in advance. Have used this garage for many years now and never an issue.

Very efficient

My headlight units were replaced, but the right indicator didn’t work- this should have been checked before releasing my car. I took it back and they replaced the headlight unit again. This time I found that they had neglected to install the 2 bulbs so I had to go back yet again to have those installed. Once again they should have checked my car before releasing it to me . Also, after the mot & service they left a length of plastic tubing in the engine compartment, which could have caused damage if it got caught up in the engine.

Reasonably priced and personal service, feels like an independent even though they are part of a group of businesses. Used them a few times, I never feel like they are taking me for a ride! I'm not sure how set up they are for more complex repairs, but for regular service / MOT, tyre/alignment/tracking I can recommend them.

It would have 5 stars except for not stamping the service book when I had specifically mentioned where I’d left it. I had 4 new tyres fitted and should have been told it was likely that a sensor warning light would appear.

I had a flat tyre due to a pothole. Came to Kipling who put a new tyre on and I was on my way home in just over 30 minutes. Excellent service and it was cheaper than I expected.

A Technician at Protyre Autocare -Bushey, replaced 2 Tyres on the passenger side on 12/2/2026. Both tyres had slow punctures, the inside of the rear tyre had a nail embedded in it, which the AA technician located, and the front tyre was losing pressure all the time, so he advised me to replace the tyres ASAP. Joe, the manager at Protyre arranged this for me and the job was carried out on 12/2/2026. I was very happy with the work.

Welcoming at reception! I was ten minutes late due to traffic. Lads in there were very polite. Quick tyre change. I will be going back for my air con.
