I had returned to my car to find a screw inbeded in my tyre. I spoke to a kind gentleman at Protyre who told me to come up straight away. On arrival I was treated with respect offered a coffee whilst they looked at the tyre. I was kept fully informed. Problem solved. Very grateful! Highly recommend 😁Thank you.

I took my car in to have a rear tyre checked while away from home, and the service was outstanding from start to finish. The staff were polite, courteous, and reassuring throughout the process. In under an hour, I left with two new tyres, tracking alignment completed, and the peace of mind of a full vehicle safety check. Highly recommend!

After many years of some bad experiences with sourcing car tyres that are reliable and give value for money I turned to Protyre Autocare and found them to be efficient, informative and matter of fact, no floss or fuss in our exchange and the job of 4 new tyres that would give lasting satisfaction and safety on the road. Wonderful service as always. Thought I had two so punctures but if fact both alloy wheel were showing signs of corrosion. Joe and his team have hopefully sorted it out. If not as they have advised of companies in the local who can repair alloy wheels. I have used selecta tyres Buxton for over 20 years. And I am so pleased with the service they give me. I have used what used to be Selcta Tyre and nowPro Tyres for number of years. Their excellent manager Martin who has now moved on to greater things, has been replaced by an equally qualified manager, who diagnosed quickly two problems I've has in the last month

Friendly staff, kept me informed

This is my go-to tyre place. The staff are pleasant and polite and efficient. They are also reassuring in a non patronising way. I was lucky it was a slightly quieter day because usually they are mad busy but have always done their best to be accommodating. Can’t speak highly enough of them.

The staff were very helpful after I had an exhaust failure while on a visit to my son in Chinley.
The parts were ordered on Monday morning and fitted by lunch.
The facility of having a coffee machine was well received.
The whole operation at Buxton seemed to work as a well organised team.

Different branch,same issues.
Bought two tyres off Asda Tyres and arranged to have them fitted at Protyres Buxton on Wednesday 6th August. Arrived at my appointment time and tyres were fitted to the rear almost straight away. Watched the fitter doing them and noticed that he took the old tyres off and put the new ones on without cleaning the wheel rims. Thought they must just be clean so didn't say anything.
Few days later noticed my nearside rear was loosing a small amount of pressure. Today, Thursday 14th, I was near to Protyres Buxton so called in to get it sorted out. I told them that I thought it could be the valve on the tyre in question as it was a very slow leak. The fitter said he would sort it out for me. After putting it on the ramp,A different fitter started to check all my tyre valves then came back and said all of them were leaking. I found this very unusual as my display had only shown the tyre I went in for was loosing pressure. Told the fitter I was only concerned about the one I had come in about and he said ok and started the repair. While he was doing this, the first person I spoke to came up to me and told me they would have to charge me for balancing the wheel,I said to him why should I have to pay to have it balanced again as the problem should have been found when the tyre was fitted. At that point he changed his mind and said he would balance it at no cost.
I watched the fitter fitting the new valve and this time he did use a drill with wire brush to clean around the rim, obviously not done the week before.
While waiting to pay for the value I noticed the fitter going round my car doing the vehicle health check, found this a little strange as the week before they hadn't bothered. Paid for the valve and was told the invoice would be sent to my email.
When I got home checked the invoice and vehicle health check, all guestimated again. All done by eye again as per my previous experience with a different Protyre branch. Measured them myself and not one is correct.After my previous experience, I was contacted with regards to the guestimated figures and told they should be using measuring devices to be more accurate, obviously still not being done.
Protyre need to address the obvious lack of professionalism with these "Selecta" fitters as they are making your company look bad.

Josh was rude and very patronising towards me. He told me I needed my tracking done and I do understand that I need it doing, however I wasn’t willing to pay the extra on that day. He said to me “well don’t come crying to me in 3 months time when your tyres are bald” which I thought was completely unprofessional. I felt he was sexist and rude towards me because I was a woman and I will not be returning.
