Just returned from a family holiday to Ikuka safari camp in Ruhua and Pongwe Beach hotel in Zanzibar.
The trip was arranged by Craig at Rainbow travel whose recommendations did not disappoint and the whole trip ran like clockwork.
Iluka safari camp is the most beautiful place the attention to detail is phenomenal we were made to feel like a part of their wonderful family as soon as we arrived Tommy, Chevy and all the staff went above and beyond to make out stay a holiday we won’t forget.
Big shout out to our fantastic guide Idris his knowledge on wildlife, birds, flora and fauna was incredible we were lucky enough to see Leopard, cheetah, lions and African wild cat.
Pongwe hotel has a lovely beach, quiet setting, fantastic staff a great place to recharge after safari.
A truly magical holiday a big thank you to everyone involved for making it so memorable.

Went on Safari to Pumba Wildlife Park along with wine tasting and whale watching and I have to say it was a holiday of a lifetime. The organisation was 2nd to none which made us feel so safe and confident. Everything ran like clockwork, we were picked up on time every time and taken to our various locations. Ilios the company who transferred us to our various locations were brilliant especially Assan who took us to Pumba from the airport and back. Once at the game reserve we saw all the animals who wanted to really really close, especially the lions, rhinos, elephants, giraffes and cheetahs. The accommodation and food was excellent and our ranger, Mbuti was a pleasure to be with whilst also inspiring confidence with his knowledge of what are essentially wild animals.
Nikki and Emma at Rainbow did a great job in giving us memories which will last forever.

Helen was excellent - very knowledgable and very patient. She adapted our itinerary, adding and organising everything we asked for. Quick responses to enquiries and all delivered at a great price.

We travelled with Rainbow to Madagascar and from the original planning right through to the end of our trip the service, care and thoughtfulness was well beyond expectations.

Just returned from a 16 day trip to Costa Rica. Everything was well planned in advance and the trip ran very smoothly. All the hotels and activities were of a good standard as allowed by the budget limits I had given- even in hindsight I wouldn't have significantly changed anything. I felt reassured that the in-country operators would provide support if needed. Rainbow Tours area great option if you know where you want to go but don't have time for the hours of research needed for a perfect trip.

We have just returned from the holiday of a lifetime in Zimbabwe, Botswana and Mozambique which was planned for us by Shelley. Couldn’t have been better. Shelley listened to everything we wanted and it exceeded all our expectations. Everything ran like clockwork and the destinations that Shelley recommended were out of this world - truly magical. Even our impossible to please teenagers admitted they’d had the time of their lives. There was a tiny blip when one of the airlines lost our luggage but Shelley stepped in to manage it all and sorted out the delivery of the bags to us in our lodge in Zimbabwe. Could not recommend more highly.

A great tour company who organise fantastic bespoke tours to individual requirements and keep the planning within the specified budget. Superbly professional and organised with planning & booking the trip, and all the transfers whilst there.

We travel far and wide around the globe however our latest requirement would take us to countries we were not very familiar with, I made the enquiry to Rainbow and it has to be said the help we received was exceptional together with the assistance on the flights overall a very helpful and knowledgeable company to deal with, highly recommended.

We expected a good holiday but it far exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived in country to leaving it was the best and most memorable holiday we have had. From the wild life ( we saw the big 5 and much much more),the accommodation was excellent, the staff at the hotels so so friendly and attentive and our guide Jack was simply the best. Might not be the cheapest holiday I’ve had but by far the best and you can’t put a price on such great memories. As to safety never once did I feel uneasy

From the moment of our first enquiry into Uganda ,Rainbow tours and especially Craig could not have been more helpful.The travel arrangements went smoothly even receiving a phone call on our departure to the airport from Craig saying that he had checked the traffic and that there were some roadworks.
We were met by wonderful Patrick, our personal guide,driver and magical experience organiser from Nkuringu safaris.
Amazing lodges in outstanding settings,game drives ,fishing for Nile perch ,finding the big 5 and much more . The unexpected bush breakfast and sundowner culminating with spending time with the mountain gorillas .what a wonderful experience.
We cannot thank you enough and are already looking forward to our next adventure with you

What an amazing holiday. Kerry and the Rainbow team have been above and beyond amazing in making our holiday the best it could be. The hotels were all fabulous with exceptional customer service and food choices and the excursion companies and transfer drivers were brilliant - very friendly, knowledgable and always on time. The vehicles were all of a great standard and most had wifi which my family loved. Costa Rica was one of the most beautiful places I have visited and would highly recommend. Kerry was extremely knowledgeable and helped me put together a really great itinerary so we really felt like we had the full experience.

An amazing holiday. Botswana is wonderful, lots to see and very friendly people. All the arrangements by Rainbow tours was flawless. They chose very professional suppliers, we had no issues whatsoever, it ran like clockwork. The whole experience was of a very high standard from start to finish. I will definitely use Rainbow Tours again.

From the moment we decided on Bolivia, Kerry from Rainbow put together, an amazing experience. The country is incredibly beautiful. We both suffered a little from Altitude sickness and the support and help we received from the local agents was brilliant. The place certainly has the wow factor and we were treated as VIPs. This is the 2nd time we have used Rainbow and would certainly use them again.

Rainbow Tours did a great job for us, from the planning & info beforehand to every minute detail whilst we were in Malawi - the whole holiday ran like clockwork with no hitches. The lodges were all superb - lovely comfortable rooms, great food and wonderful staff/guides. Dream Tours did the transfers and were timely, efficient and friendly. The replacement lodge, due to Kuthengo camp being underwater, was really great so no complaints there.

Rainbow tours did an excellent job managing the unexpected. When domestic flights were canceled, alternative plans in transportation were facilitated. They did a good job addressing our original adventure needs and expectations. Madagascar is a poor country with very limited infrastructure. Travel there demands flexibility. Rainbow tours with their local representatives and agents did a good job, ensuring that this trip fulfilled our wishes.

Honestly I was a little bit sceptical about using Rainbow Tours for our holiday to Madagascar, as we had not heard of them and didn’t know anyone who had used them. However, I have absolutely nothing negative to say whatsoever and would now wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone.
Derek was very helpful right from the start, and adjusted the trip based on our budget (which was a bit tight!) and certain things we specifically wanted to do.
In the lead up to the holiday, RT were responsive and proactive, letting us know about any changes or info we needed.
From the moment we arrived at the airport, everything ran like clockwork. Zero issues with transfers, the guides were delightful, and we both felt very relaxed trusting the timetable and just going along with the plan, rather than feeling stressed about catching boats/flights on time!
Thanks to RT we were able to have the holiday of a lifetime and didn’t need to lift a finger in any of the planning. I really, really can’t recommend them enough. We used a different well-known travel agency for our honeymoon a few years ago, and had a few hiccups (like they didn’t know about some of the new COVID forms needed to travel at that time, meaning we very almost weren’t allowed on the plane…)! By comparison, the process with RT was a breeze and we will use them again next time we are planning a big trip!

Just returned from Belize. The holiday was fabulous, well organised, everything we expected and more...
Kerry at Rainbow was efficient, friendly and knew what we wanted, the staff at Viaventure in Belize were especially helpful, particularly our driver Julien.
All of the team at Laminai Outpost, Black Rock Lodge and Xanadu in San Pedro couldnt have been more accommodating. Would highly recommend.

Personal and flexible service providing great experiences off the usual tourist routes. They listened to what we wanted and exceeded that in every respect.

As a result we had the most amazing time ever and are already planning a return. Never a day went by where we were not experiencing something new. Starting with trekking and Rock Art in Drakensberg, and 4X4 up Sani Pass to Lesotho, based at Sani Valley Lodges which we did not do justice to, with its fantastic accommodation and food as well as trout fishing... we have to return there.

Then Umkhumbi was home from home, and the characters there that looked after us were brilliant. An excellent base for a variety of foot, vehicle and boat safari. Then Kosi Bay and the team there were blissful, for a spot of kayaking, snorkelling and even spear fishing.

We drove everywhere we went, and that independence was essential to the overall positive vibe. We certainly would not have had the confidence to arrange that alone for our first trip to the area with children, without the support of the Rainbow team in setting it all up and as back-up should there be any issues. Apart from lost luggage on the flight out, there were none.

All locals we met out and about, in restaurants and at safari locations were friendly and happy to meet you. We were slightly off the usual tourist areas. The roads, pot-holes, cattle, people, erratic driving, dirt and gravel tracks, might not have been to every-ones taste, but all became just part of the charm. Oh, and a very big thank you for the choice of vehicle. Had we gone it alone we would have made a school-boy error on that front. The Fortuner was perfect and totally necessary with the diff-lock coming in handy at Kosi Bay .

We had a fantastic experience. Shelley was great and created the package for our budget. The attention to detail was great. All of the accommodation was excellent.
