We hired a riser recliner chair for my mother in our holiday accommodation. Amazing service, liaising with the holiday home concierge service to deliver before our arrival & arrived as expected to collect this morning.
The team at Rapid Mobility were easy & a pleasure to deal with from start to finish ensuring that extra bit of comfort for mum on holiday.

I was in a real pickle with some wheelchair foot rests, and Warren, Darren and the team saved my bacon, and i will be forever grateful.

Friendly and very helpful
Called in this morning with a very modest wheelchair I take my husband out in, who is in a care home. The brake had gone on one side, they mended it on the spot and didn’t charge. Friendly and helpful, didn’t know the shop existed but will be recommending it to everyone.

I had to get a new power chair we rang…
I had to get a new power chair we rang up Weymouth and they asked what chair I had and wanted I needed it that day the very helpful gentleman brought 3 chairs for me to try in the Dorchester shop and I found the one I liked when I asked when I could have the chair he said I could take it on straight away which was a great help because I had a hospital appointment that afternoon it was such a relief and they took my broken chair so helpful it was good value and helpful service we would recommend them to anybody and they do service and repairs the Dorchester shop is in brewery square

My wife is disabled and was having problems with a chair that had stopped working. The engineer was able to put the problem right and return it to working order quickly and efficiently.

Once again rapid mobility have fixed problem with my scooter. Now running as good as new. Able to go up fordington hill now with ease staying on five green lights all the way up. Amazing what a bit of lubrication will do. Special thank you to Darren you're a star 👍👌

Not impressed with this company at all…
Not impressed with this company at all I thought I was hiring a pride colt deluxe. And they gave me a a pride colt plus that had a loose seat that moved side to side the back rest was laid back to far. When I went in the shop to speak to the man and he said there was nothing he could do so it has been stuck in the caravan with me some holiday £80 down the drain for something I couldn’t use I have COPD and waiting on a hip replacement not even offered me a penny back disgusting service totally ruined my holiday I have a receipt that says otherwise and I will be taking this further

However, we believe there may be some misunderstanding — Rapid Mobility Ltd has never offered the Pride Colt Deluxe model for hire, and we have only supplied the Pride Colt Plus within the last 24 months. It’s possible this has caused some confusion when discussing the product.
All of our hire scooters are fully checked and serviced before being rented out, but if you experienced an issue with the seat or comfort, we would have been more than happy to inspect or exchange the unit had we been contacted during your hire period.
We do take all feedback seriously and always aim to provide a professional, reliable service to every customer.

Very disappointing
Trusted Rapid Mobility to sort out my scooter problem and absolutely disgusting service. Never trust this company to do a job. Told them scooter had started losing charge very quickly without good reason so only able to do a couple of miles on full charge and also speed dial was loose. Asked if they do pick up as my car was in the garage and told no problem. Picked up and delivered back. Shock to see they had added on £20 call out charge which I was NOT told about when I enquired about pick up (I live on Portland and apparently only free if in Weymouth) and all they had done was fix dial and test batteries for £30. Batteries deemed OK so they returned it. I still have the EXACT same problem I told them about, scooter still losing charge too quickly, literally got only a couple of miles on flat pavement out of it again so called this morning to complain and no director or manager available just assistant who said she would pass message on. No call back so rang again late afternoon. No help, no care or anything. Going on holiday tomorrow and rely upon scooter as I am disabled so now I either have to pay to hire one at resort or just not be able to go out anywhere. So please be very wary when dealing with this company.

We are sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your recent experience and would like to clarify a few points. On the day in question, both our Operations Manager and Service/Warehouse Manager were available to assist you; however, upon reviewing the recorded call, you declined to speak with either of them and insisted on speaking only with our Director. As was explained, the Director is not based at the premises daily due to managing multiple businesses, as well as multiple sites within Rapid Mobility Limited.
Regarding the service charge, a call-out fee does apply for the Portland area and has done so for almost four years. As a returning customer, this information would have been available at the time of booking, and it reflects our standard business practice, as we are a commercial service provider.
We regret that you remain dissatisfied, despite our team offering assistance and attempting to resolve your concerns promptly. We also note that you have posted similar reviews across multiple platforms and sites, although your interaction was with only one dealership. While we welcome genuine feedback, posting repetitive or inaccurate reviews can be misleading to other customers.
Nevertheless, we remain happy to re-examine your scooter should you wish to arrange a return visit, and our team is available to help resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

from a 93-years-old lady, anxious and insecure about a drifting joystick and etc. I witnessed the compassion and kindness that seems to be the motivation of rapid mobility poole rather than profit. Attending at my home after a general check-up and reassurance, no charge was demanded.

Fantastic Service From Rikki And Dave
I knew it was time for me to get a mobility scooter as my back problems have deteriorated significantly, making walking increasingly painful, even though I am a stickler for doing my physio exercises and I take pain medication regularly.
I went into the Rapid Mobility shop in Poole and met the delightful Rikki and Dave. My interaction was primarily with Rikki but both him and Dare are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Rikki was a pleasure to speak with and very patient as I tried out several models in the store. Both Rikki and Dave have made sure there is plenty of space so you can actually ride the scooters in the store before making a final decision.
There was no hard sell, which is fantastic, and Rikki was more than happy to answer all of my questions, of which there were many! Another bonus is that they keep the mobility scooters fully charged and you can leave the store with your scooter, so there is no waiting weeks for it to be delivered.
I purchased the Pride Go Go MG2 mobility scooter and I couldn't be happier with it. Thank you to Rikki and Dave for making my experience a real pleasure. I received first class service and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

My wife had a couple of issues with her scooter today, she was a bit worried over it, ie the clock packed in, fuse problem, and a hole where someone had taken the hooter out leaving a hole, but the tape had worn away leaning a gaping hole, which not good in rain, the man at the Weymouth area branch couldn't have been more helpful to take the time and solve every problem my wife had, very good service, good price, don't be fooled by other shops, go here, you won't go wrong, top notch, happy wife.
