i purchased their two pillow bundle with extra covers after pending several months researching organic material pillows to replace my old pillow. I emailed asking about sizing before i placed the order as i have all standard sized pillow cases and wanted to make sure that their pillows would fit as they dont have their sizing listed as Standard, Queen or King like most companies do. They confirmed that their pillows fit standard sized pillow cases, and that i should be able to fit them in my existing pillow cases. i did some more research, and ultimately decided to buy two pillows for my self and my partner. i bought the mid loft for me, and the high loft for him. When the order was placed, there was an ETA on the shipping date that showed it would be delivered in 5 days.
After a week, i still had not received the tracking # so i reached out to ask if they had the tracking information. They advised they did not, as it had not even been shipped. The product was on back order, and they were waiting for their inventory. They didnt bother to send me an email prior to my inquiry to advise of the delays. fast forward some time, and i get a tracking notificiation, the parcel is delivered, i take the pillows home, we try them out... and on first impression i loced the mid loft pillow for my self. It was soft, and fluffy which was nice at first. the high loft pillow was very high, and caused my partner to have pain within the first hour . He ended up switching back to his old pillow right away. we asked Rest organic if we could swap the high loft for a low loft as they have a 90 day return policy .. and they snt me a link to process an exchange.
I liked how mine felt, so i slept with it for a few more days. After waking up in severe pain, and with a migraine with aura for 4 or 5 days in a row, i decided to bring the pillow to my chiropractor. He advised this pillow isnt supportive, and it was way too soft.
I reached back out to Rest organic to tell them of this new update, and that the pillow was lovely but sadly was casuing me alot of pain, causing my migraines to come up, and that my vision was blurred from the constant aura ( i had a pinched nerve) . It took customer service quite a long time to get back to me, but finally they replied and i was able to send both pillows back. I ultimately got a refund for both after i reached out to them to confirm it was delivered, and the processed the refund right away.
UPDATE: this morning i received a very sincere email from the owner apologizing for the delay in the customer service rep's response . I was actually very surprised and very impressed with the fact they reached out personally to check in with me to make sure that i not only received my refund but to apologize for the timing of how the request was handled. In addition to this, they also offered me a free pillow or pillowcase to make up for the inconvenience. I really appreciated this, and i feel like this company is a trustworthy company who stands by their policies. Given their policy i wouldn't hesitate to reccomend this brand to others as they have a risk free trial period if you don't love the product.
