Issue with sand mastic around windows at Great Glen Hall development in Inverness. Acknowledged by Robertson Homes over 2 years ago who accepted responsibility and agreed to put right. Absolutely liars, false promises and deliver nothing . Missed deadlines, never return your calls, Robertson managers Michelle ( supposedly customer service manager ) utterly useless, same as Jeannie (CEO PA) hopeless and don't care about any form of issue with your property or you as a Robertson customer. Be very wary of buying a Robertson home and if you do and something goes wrong with your property and it will you can forget about any form of support or help from there customer service team especially the two individuals that I have mentioned.

Yet again, I feel let down by Robertson Homes.

Buying a new build for over £500k, you expect things to be built correctly. Unfortunately it would appear that our roof was never built to the correct standards.

So, although watertight, tiles that have not been properly fixed in the first place will eventually move and cause more problems.

Their 2 year warranty is useless in this regard. Who puts a roofer on their new build, just to make sure it’s been laid correctly?

Robertson Homes have simply replied saying not their issue. Over these last 4 years at least they have been consistent with their willingness to sort out problems caused by their inefficiency.

Writing this review after our final snag has just been completed nearly 3 years after moving in.
The purchase process was fantastic and couldn’t fault the sales team however if I knew what lay ahead after Robertson’s had our money I would avoid at all costs!!
Such a shame as houses are beautiful however once they have your money they simply do not care!
Never came across a company so desperate to get our sorting faults and will ignore numerous emails and phone calls.
After sales customer service is worst I have ever come across and if you are thinking of buying a Robertson’s home think twice about the battle you are about to face once they have your money, it definitely takes the shine off your new property.

I have been trying, unsuccessfully, to have my deposit returned by Robertson Homes for over six months. Do not, under any circumstances, reserve a house with them. Your deposit will be held by them in breach of the contract both parties agreed to.

I have contacted them repeatedly and have not once even had my phonecall returned or an email update from them. I am now leaving reviews anywhere I can to warn others. I wish I had not reserved a home with them. My circumstances changed, and my deposit should have been returned in line with the contract.

Sarah was fantastic the whole way through the process, a real asset to Robertsons.

My wife and I had a great experience meeting Gillian to discuss the Shawfair development. Gillian was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. We’re looking forward to discussing the next steps. Brilliant service!

They will try every single tactic and lie blatantly and don't want to fix any real issue.

Disgusting after sales experience, reported an issue with my hot water tank which was very dangerous given we have two small children. they are ignoring it for last 6 months.
Floor boards creaking in two rooms upstairs and its a nightmare, they don't want to fix.

We enjoyed good communication from Sarah throughout the whole sales process. The site manager was most helpful through the hand over phase. Site workers always obliging. Good team

Purchased a house in the Torvean development in Inverness and extremely satisfied. Sales executive Sarah was an absolute star throughout the whole process and extremely understanding and helpful with multiple delays on our end due to the sale of our previous property having multiple issues. Could not have been anymore understanding and a real credit to the company. Extremely happy with the whole process.

In the process of purchasing at house from Robertson's at Hamilton Heights. With our current house we have had such a bad experience we were very reluctant to go for another new house.
The sales process with Gillian has been so smooth and she has went out her way to be so helpful and to ensure there has been no hiccups, really good co-ordination with the kitchen designers. Cannot fault anything so far.
Russell the site agent has been such a breath of fresh air compared to what we have experienced before. The overview he gives of the build process, his communication about the extras we ordered, confirming all the sockets, etc have been put in the correct locations. Any issues are not a problem for him to rectify. You can see how conscientious he is and the pride he takes in his work.
They make a great team and are an asset to Robertson Homes. I actually feel confident about moving now.

We have moved into a new home in Aug 2024 still our 1 week review works have not been completed there has been our kitchen space work finally after needless of msg someone came to fix today but they did half work and left the building with keeping all the things in kitchen keep it unfitted and not fixed all lying around in my kitchen keep it danger

We haven’t moved in to our house yet but so far we have had the most amazing experience all thanks to Gillian and Russell. They have gone above and beyond to ensure we are kept up to date with every aspect of our house build. They are always so helpful and quick to respond to any queries and really do go that extra mile for us. We are so grateful for the excellent service we have received so far and can’t wait to move in to our new home.

We have recently received the keys for our new home in Hamilton from our very first visit to the Showhouse Gillian has made the whole stressful experience as unstressful as it could be always returning calls and emails even when it was her days off always greeted with a genuine smile and caring persona, Russell the Site Manger from our first meeting has been amazing also from our first meeting he instantly gave us his mobile number and insured us that he is fully contactable if any issue's arise and to his credit he has been, overall a great buying experience would highly recommend Robertson Homes and Gillian at Hamilton Heights but you will need to be quick there is only a few plots left!!

We moved in to a Robertson Homes house before Christmas. The quality of workmanship and high level of personalised customer service that the team provide was second to none and really provided a smooth process taking away the stress of moving. From Diane in Sales, Graham the site manager, Stuart our point of contact from moving in to Joe who works on the site and every workman we have come into contact - they have all been extremely professional, welcoming and going out of their way to help in a very personalised way.

From the embryonic stages of development until 6 months of living in our home Robertsons have been exceptional. Taking the time to listen to our design thoughts, assisting with advice on relocating, arranging snags to be fixed…the service has been second to none. The staff couldn’t do enough for us and are very willing to help. A fantastic team, especially Diane in the sales office and Stewart the site manager.

I recently purchased a new house from Robertson Homes, and I wanted to share my experience, which was overall very positive.
Initial Negotiation with the Price: The initial negotiation process was smooth and transparent. The seller was open to discussions, and we were able to agree on a fair price after a few rounds of negotiation. The sales manager played a crucial role in facilitating these discussions and ensuring we were satisfied with the final price.
What We Are Getting: The Sales Manager and Site Manager ensured we fully understand what we are purchasing by providing detailed information about the house. The quality of the construction and the materials used is impressive.
Purchase Process: The purchase process was straightforward and well-organised. The Sales manager provided clear instructions and was always available to answer our questions. The paperwork was handled efficiently, and we were kept informed at every step. The mortgage approval process was also smooth, thanks to the support from our lender.
House Demo: Before finalising the purchase, we were given a detailed demo of the house. The Site manager walked us through each room, explaining the features and answering our questions. This demo was very helpful in understanding the functionality of the home systems and the appliances included in the house.

Handover Process: The handover process was seamless. On the day of the handover, we were given a thorough orientation of the house, including instructions on how to use the various systems and appliances. The Site Manager also provided us with a comprehensive manual and contact information for any future support. We appreciated the attention to detail and the effort to ensure we were comfortable in our new home.

There were very few snags/ fewer than expected after the move and the snags were resolved very quickly.
Overall, we are extremely satisfied with our new house and the entire purchase experience. The professionalism and support from the Sales manager, Site manager and the builder made the process stress-free and enjoyable. We are excited to start this new chapter in our beautiful new home.

Excellent experience from start to finish Diane in sales was an integral part of the purchase process. She always greeted us with a smile and had an encyclopaedic knowledge of the product. She helped us with all of the difficult decisions and was incredibly supportive and patient throughout the process. We genuinely believe that Diane makes Robertson stand out from the competition. Graham, the site project manager, assisted by Stuart could not have been more helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Both were so pleasant to deal with and also very professional as were their team of tradesmen. All of them were exceptionally friendly and courteous and always resolved any issues very satisfactorily. Finally, no review would be complete without mentioning Joe, who manages the comings and goings on site, always with a hearty laugh and a friendly smile, and for whom nothing is too much trouble if you need a hand.
